Enjoyable reading time
An enjoyable reading time. Good story, good characters - consistent throughout story and some surprises and twists. Yes there were some adult sex written into it but if you liked the overview / jacket of the book it should not stop you from reading. You can skim over the sex talk / scene like you can in a movie. I did do the skim over a few times to get to the story quicker. Could the author have left all the sexual situations out - maybe but it is the Authors choice and it is you the readers choice! I am just giving you my review that it is part of the overall story. If that is your only reason NOT to buy it is a weak / poor reason! The author definitely did some research or is a history fan or history teacher. I really enjoyed the blending of history into the story with the authors stamp. The author clearly stated this is like our current world but not!
For full disclosure I have visited and read some of the authors short stories on adult lit sites. This author is not the only one I have found that got some writing experience from adult lit sites and is now self publishing and making some money for their work/efforts. The reviewers for writers on those sites are harsh and pull no punches but you can find some really great stories. Sadly you have go through a lot of crappie ones too. Yes there are many non-erotic stories / authors. The only cost is your time for some of those type sites.
I will likely pick up more books by this author since there is a great teaser at the end that really got me interested. Currently I have more on my reading list than I have time! I just need to learn to read faster, I guess! :)

Very Enjoyable Read
This book is a great read. It didn't follow the rules. I enjoyed the originality. Some parts where a little hokey but it all worked out in the end. I would recommend this book especially if you are tired of all "the billionaires, secret, baby, forbidden, chocolate women books"
