After being torn from Jayde’s arms, Scotty is finally free and determined to convince Jayde that she’s his one and only but time is running out as Saressa is determined to change their destiny once again in this spellbinding paranormal romance. The Others of Seattle just gets better and better. Scotty and Jayde’s story was full of surprises and unexpected twists that kept me guessing and there was no way I could put this book down once I started reading it and I can’t wait to find out what happens next, especially after that wicked conclusion.

Changing Destiny was a story full of passion, emotional angst, LOVE, and tons of paranormal beings that kept me turning the pages non-stop! Brandy L Rivers delivered yet another must read novel I recommend you one-click if you’re a paranormal romance junkie like me!
“I’m captivated by you. No other woman exists when you’re present. My thoughts haven’t strayed from you once, Jayde. I can’t be the only man who craves your time, though I’ll gladly monopolize it.”
Scotty. Oh, lordy, lord poor Scotty!! I’ve never NEEDED a character to get a happy ending so badly like I did with him. My heart broke for him and Jayde. They endured so much heartache for so long that I craved their HEA. I loved how their love was so pure and was one that could overcome ANYTHING. Which brings me to my other point: Saressa. Boy, oh boy, I HATED her.
“I love you, always have, and always will, no matter how far apart we are.”
Scotty and Jayde met centuries ago and everything was going wonderfully. They had this amazing relationship that proved they were meant to be. Until one fateful night changed EVERYTHING.
Enter Saressa. She came in between true love and BROKE Scotty. She flat out TORTURED the poor guy, but yet, his love for Jayde never diminished (despite Saressa’s efforts). His main purpose was to protect Jayde and keep her far away from Saressa’s EVIL tactics, regardless of what he had to endure to do so. And trust me when I say, the guy suffered. Saressa was a twisted, evil being!
“If you’re willing to give me chance, I’m not walking away. No matter what, I can’t go another century without you. As soon as I saw you, everything came rushing back.”
Centuries later, Scotty and Jayde’s love was still strong as ever. And while they finally got their second chance, their road was not easy. Scotty, while trying to keep Jayde safe, he did end up hurting her, so he had to earn her trust once again. On top of all that, as long as Saressa was alive, it would never be easy for them. They’d still be in danger.
“I’ll fight for you, no matter what, Jayde.”
SO MUCH HAPPENED. This book was anything but boring, as usual. Brandy L Rivers KNOWS how to keep her readers entertained. There was action, HOT scenes, fantastic paranormal characters, an amazing plot… Basically everything that makes a MUST READ! FIVE STARS!

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.
This is the fourth installment for the Others of Seattle. If you read Seductive Solution you have a little bit of Scotty's background and this is the rest of his story.
Scotty falls fast and hard for Jayde. But when his has to make good on a bet Saressa is there to take advantage and tricks him away from Jayde. Now he will do anything to protect Jayde from Saressa's evil ways. Jayde is determined to get her man back. She fights hard even enlists the help of a dragon at one point but after years of trying and getting her heart broken she is trying to move on.
Years later Scotty is now free of Saressa for good he sees Jayde. With help from a good friend they are once again on the right path. However, Jayde is still protecting her heart and Scotty wonders if Jayde would be better off with someone else. Saressa will not give up on scotty he was hers once and determined he will be hers again. Will Saressa win this battle or will Scotty and Jayde finally win.
It was heartbreaking to see what Scotty went through to protect Jayde and to see Jayde get her heart broken again and again because of Saressa is a conniving scheming Queen of the Water realm that does whatever she wants however she wants. To see her with a creepy legged Damha makes me nervous for the Other of Seattle. As always Brandy does a wonderful job and writes a great love story, fantastic fight scenes and strong feisty females. I am so looking forward to the next book already.

Being the fourth book in a series, I must admit I was constantly wondering what was happening since I hadn’t read any of the previous books – so if you’re wondering if it’s important to follow the novels, yes it is. It could be a standalone, but I really don’t recommend it since too many characters have histories that are explained in previous books that come either to an epic finish in this fourth instalment or has an impact that can’t be ignored neither. For a paranormal novel, which the use of magic and scenery is at the forefront, vividly described, we also have the romance aspect, which is not lacking and beautifully written (it’s neither crude nor childish) and entertaining. I know I would have enjoyed more the novel with the background between Jayde and Scotty so I could appreciate more the dilemmas, the desire to be back together, and especially having to decide who is Jayde’s true mate. I’m hoping that being able to read the entire series will give me a better perspective on the characters, but albeit that, I still enjoyed the thrill ride through the nymphs and Paineater world.

Once again I have had the undoubted pleasure of being immersed in the world of Others that Ms Rivers has created for us. Having recently read Seductive Solutions, I was aware of the bones of the story, but getting the detail enriched the picture, and definitely raised the temperature!
I would extend a word of warning though - Ms Rivers' books are addictive, so think very carefully before starting this late at night, especially if you have to be up in the morning. Once started, the pace is such that it is impossible not to just read one more page, and then another ... until the whole crazy, sexy and delicious plot unfolds in front of one's eyes. Whilst I may not recognise these characters if I met them on the street, they are fully formed beings in my head. The links created by family, friendship and common enemies underpin everything that is revealed as the reader gets to learn more and more about this world of Others. Fabulous escapism, wonderful messages of hope and perseverance - after all how many people have to wait literally hundreds of years to get their man?

There is love, longing, passion, pain, fear, revenge, and more! All the Others you've come to know in Seattle and even some from Edenton help in this one. And now a bit about the story...
It is Jayde and Scotty's turn at happiness... I hope :) After the nymph courted her for months and still didn't make a move, it isn't his patience that is drawing to an end, but instead the evil queens. Saressa jumps in just before the true bond can form and punishes Scotty for years. Jayde will get her revenge and many others, the real question is just when??
Favorite passages:
- “Sometimes we have to crawl through fire to find our strength.”
- Now to manage the impossible. Killing the woman who stole him away.

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC but that does not colour my review in any way.
This is the 4th in the series but can easily be read as a stand alone.
Endiscott is a wood nymph with a well earned reputation for loving and leaving the ladies. But as soon as he sets eyes on Jayde, who is a pain eater, he feels a connection like never before.
Jayde's mother warns her not to let him under her skirts too soon. He must prove that he means to be true to her.
The wicked Queen Saressa who rules the water realm, is obsessed with Endiscott and tricks him into a bond he cannot break.
Jayde is no match for the evil one. The torment that they both go through will last hundreds of years. Can Jayde ever destroy Saressa? Can Endiscott ever break free.?
There are so many in the different Fae realms that are under Saressa's control that the only place there might be help is in the earth realm.
Our "hero" is not very heroic. He is tortured and abused by our twisted villainess. Many will die because of one woman's obsession.
We have many different types of Fae that I have never seen before. If you are frightened of spiders beware of one particular villain. Really good fun with lots of twists and turns.

This book really wraps up some things, and makes things clear. What happened to Scotty, with the wicked Queen in Faerie? Who is Jayde? All the things that happen in this book make it riveting, and hard to put down. The ending was a complete shock, leaving it open for another book in the series. I look forward to reading it if it comes out. There are definitely unresolved things that people think are resolved now. More soul mates find each other, new ones find one another while others rekindle. This has been a very interesting take on shifters, fae, and Others that are out there in this mystical world of this series. Watching all the interplay and things that happen has been enchanting and riveting, practically making the whole series hard to put down. Enjoy the book! Happy reading! Some very expected AND unexpected things happen!

Another great Others of Seattle installment for Brandy Rivers. I loved the big part the Toryn and Isa played again in this story because it's no secret they are probably my favorite couple out of all of the Others of Seattle or Edenton.
Scotty was such a great guy and I'm just glad it finally worked out for him and Jayde. I liked how half of the book was in the past and then the rest present because I felt like I appreciated it more, having learned that back story.
I also felt like Brandy Rivers set up a lot of potential other characters in this book, so I'm excited for all of the future couples....Kellan/Zoe, Eddie/Jackie and maybe even Lonny/Lana? I'm feeling pretty good about this series and look forward every time for a new installment.
Also, the hint that Saressa probably didn't die, just absolutely killed me...that biotch just won't go!!!!!

I also felt like Brandy Rivers set up a lot of potential other characters in this book, so I'm excited for all of the future couples....Kellan/Zoe, Eddie/Jackie and maybe even Lonny/Lana? I'm feeling pretty good about this series and look forward every time for a new installment.
Also, the hint that Saressa probably didn't die, just absolutely killed me...that biotch just won't go!!!!!

Another great story in the Others of Seattle series and is Jayde & Scotty's story.
They met and fell in love many years ago, but the evil Saressa wanted Scotty for herself so she tricked him into bonding with her using her magic. Although Scotty knew their bond couldn't be real he was unable to escape her. With an intact bond, he couldn't go to Jayde since Saressa would find them which would put Jayde's life in jeopardy.
Years later Scotty has been freed from Saressa's spell so he's determined to see Jayde again and convince her that she really is the only one for him. Scotty, Jayde and all of their friends need to destroy Saressa for good before they can consider a happily ever after though.
Lots of twists and action to make the story very exciting. Also, lots of characters from the previous books to catch up with too. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

This is another amazing installment to The Others of Seattle Series.
I love how Brandy Rivers weaves her characters and makes you love even the bad guys...or at least feel sorry for them.
Saressa is the baddest of the bad but in her own sick twisted way, she truly loves Endiscott. His heart belongs to Jade but Saressa has tricked him and put a spell on him.
Once he is away from her, many years later, these soul crossed lovers reunite. But can they get back to where they were?
Another breakthrough for this series...oh and watch out for that ending!
This series is a must read for ANY paranormal fan!

Sometimes a man has to beg and Scotty has no problem with that, “I can honestly say there is no other woman I want. You’re it, you’re everything. Give me a chance to show you.” It's always good when you have a man that can multi-task, "he rolled to her. “Oh, Jayde, we can make love while talking. I’ll never mind.” I enjoyed this book but I have to say I was more interested in Kellan then the others, which means I want his book next.

I swear this series just keeps getting better and better. This too was an awesome read. These characters and all the Others are so great to read about.Scotty and Jayde have a rough start but what a story. And the Character Saressa such a wicked wicked lady. I am so glad this author writes these stories, I love this series.

This is prolly my favorite book so far in the "Others of Edenton" series. Brandy Rivers can take you places with her characters that no other author can do. Jadye an Scotty's story is intense, sexy an steamy hot. If your looking for a book that you just get lost in then you need to pick up a copy of this book.

I am in love with Brandy.L. Rivers books. I've read all 10 of other of Edenton so far and I be keeps up with this series too. I love how it offered you an escape when your reading it. I couldn't put it down for the life of me. That is until I feel asleep. But I finished it the next day lol. Can't wait for the next books to come.

I am on a Brandy Rivers binge if you haven't caught on. This girl can WRITE and I just can't get enough. I can't believe I let myself get so far behind on novels that I love so much. Shame on me. Okay. Changing Destiny. SO GOOD!! I loved being back in Seattle with this gang.

Okay. I know you are JUST as excited about his novel as I am. We get more of Scotty and Jayde's story!
Though Scotty is in love with Jayde, Saressa will NOT let up! This girl is nuts. I kind of felt sorry for her for a little while there. She loves him in her own twisted way. This is a story of second chances, about defying all the odds and going for love. This may have been Brandy's best page turner yet.
The vivid writing and breathtaking descriptions allow for this book to create a clear picture for you from start to finish. The culmination of things going on really make for a suspenseful and exciting read that left me on my toes at the end. Don't miss this fantastic read!!

Totally love this series! Brandy Rivers books are fantastic and definitely have the woo factor for me!
Brandy's books I must admit are very addictive, so make sure you have lots of spare time as nothing else will be getting done once you pick up these books.
There is one important thing I must say though, you must work your way through the series, you must start at the beginning!
Changing Destiny is a story full of Passion, Love, Action and lots of paranormal beings. There are so many quotes in this book that have stuck in my head, these are the hair raising kind that leaves goosebumps on your arms! One thing for sure is destiny is destiny, even when evil try's to change it!
Saressa is the bad cookie in the jar, the naughtily evil villan we love in a book. But she truly loves scotty, though his heart belongs to Jayde. But has saressa done something to scotty???

I must admit, after the second book and the short story i was so hoping that Scotty would get his own book about finding is HEA. So coming into this book i was so excited to learn more about Scotty.
The suspense and build up in Changing Destiny is fantastic, i had to keep reading because i desperately needed to know what was going to happen between Scotty and Jayde next.
Their relationship is off the charts steamy, and heart warming. The fact that it's been a fragmented relationship that's been building for such a long time is one of the aspects of the book that kept me reading till the early hours of the morning.
The book is so filled with suspense and action that you cannot get enough of it. On top of that the Saressa's actions and interactions with the characters are so interesting, it's not predictable and keeps parts of the book alive.

Having received just glimpses of Scotty's tortured past in previous books this one was worth the tease. Scotty is a delightful character who was torn from his intended and destined mate the day before his intended proposal. It takes hundreds of years for destiny to finally right itself.
As always with Brandy L Rivers' books the characters are everything; beautifully written, believable and likable. I love the way new characters are introduced to the existing cast and yet blend in so seamlessly. Following one of her series leaves you waiting to follow where characters are heading next and enjoying meeting new ones along the way. Existing characters are never forgotten and simply pop up from time to time as friends do.

This is the fourth book in the Others of Seattle series and I loved it just as much as the rest! Scotty and Jayde's chance at happiness was ripped away from them by Saressa and Scotty did everything in his power in order to protect Jayde and keep her from Saressa's evil grasp. Jayde refuses to give up on Scotty and fights for his love. Unfortunately the timing is not right and she is forced to give up her efforts and try to move on. Years later when Scotty is finally free from Saressa's control he wants nothing more than to win back his love, but is faced with the difficult decision of whether or not It would be better if he just let her go. This is a great addition to this series and I recommend this to anyone. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
