I was born in London and grew up there, but now I live in Switzerland, where most of my books are set; a few are set in England (London).

I take my inspiration from many different sources, then add my own imagination to create some glimpses into the darker side of life.

I received this book for free via Goodreads First Reads.

3 stars.

The writing is good and you feel the writer writes from experience in the area of BDSM. It is a short book which might help it to gain readership amongst those that are curious about the scene. I am sure that everything depicted actually happens behind closed doors daily. It is also a few million times better than the most popular book series which is almost based on BDSM but I won't sully this review by naming it. I will only say it has a number and a colour in the title.

I do feel it has a few flaws. The main character's main motivation is lacking. She wants to try things but some explanation as to why would have helped. She also has an anal fixation which could have been explained. There is a certain lack of clarity throughout the book. I think the book could have been made better by expanding on the ideas and the actions.

It is a book worth reading but one I feel the author could expand upon to make it an essential read in the field.
