Danny Ableton spent his last night on Earth dreaming of taking over Jimmy's Bar—until a stray black kitten and a runaway truck cut that plan short. Between training Daisy to focus, learning the ropes from Vivian, charming a sharp-tongued demon mage with a research problem, and figuring out how his stat screen works, Danny has his hands full. But every dungeon has a bottom, every coin has two sides, and the strange gold piece in his pocket that doesn't match any currency in Tivalen might be hinting that his arrival wasn't quite as random as it seems.

I made it through the first 5 chapters of this book (71 pages) and decided to DNF it. I know it says it's a "cozy isekai adventure", but apparently the word cozy means "MC puts forth no effort" through those pages.
The MC manages and bartends at a bar on Earth, and tries to rescue a kitten about to be run over by a truck. Instead he gets truck-kun'ed. A cat goddess gives him another chance because the kitten gives one of his 9 lives to the human. She offers a boon, and he wants the maximum amount of luck he can have. So she french kisses him and his luck stat at level 1 is now 50, while his highest other stat is 6. And then gives him the ability twice a day to double his luck stat for the next 7 days. This begins everything going the MC's way with pretty much no effort.
The first LI is presumably the dog-girl he meets, Daisy. Said LI offers to be his pet within seconds of meeting the MC, so he's already putting zero effort into things. Daisy is, to put it kindly, a major ditz. She has the worst case of ADHD ever recorded level of ditzy. She wore me out in the first few paragraphs, and it didn't really stop. Having ADHD myself, I can't really enjoy reading about a character that is being displayed as so over-the-top out of control due to her ditziness.
Then the MC and Daisy enter town, and after walking past the same location 3 times, head to the inn. Where the MC's luck goes bonkers again as the flustered owner of the inn gives him the inn so he can spend more time with his wife, all with asking for or wanting any compensation.
This book is just too heavy handed with the authors spoon feeding the MC everything and saying it's due to his luck stat for me to enjoy.

The book is fun. And it is cozy. Oh, boy, it is cozy.
The MC gets dropped into this world as a boon from a/the cat goddess, because he died to save a cat. And that goddess gives him an utterly maxed-out Luck attribute.
So, yeah, he goes through his new world with maxed-out luck. Which does not really lend itself to conflict and plot -- things, well, work out. For him and his puppy girl and his dark elf girl and his red-skinned demon girl, etc. etc. His basic actions are to get people together so they can figure out how they should have worked together anyways, and to sometimes give inspirational speeches. And that works, because of his luck.
The book is fun. The dungeon is rather fun (and is sort of on the side of the adventurers and rarely kills them). The town characters are fun.
So I have no problems with the book. But it is rather mid.

Fun slice of life
Was a comfy, relaxing story, enjoyed Daisy's character, wish she was written a little more playful. Was a good storyline entertaining and great life building.
