When Ariel mentions another human holiday, the women get excited. They aren’t the only ones, though. The Dragon Lords and their friends, Vox, and Ha'ven, decide they want to be part of the planning this time. Things get a little out of hand when the men begin competing with each other to create the best Christmas ever for the Dragonlings, Roam, and Alice. Filled with tales of St. Nick, Rudolph, Frosty, and the newest tale of the Old Dragon of the Mountain, they are determined to light up the palace like never before and turn it into the new North Pole.
Just when the women think they have everything under control, panic ignites when the Dragonlings, Roam, and Alice suddenly disappear just days before Christmas. What no one expects is for the children to take it upon themselves to go in search of the legendary dragon who has threatened to steal the Magic of Christmas. Now, their parents are in a race to find the Dragonlings before they lose them forever. Will they be able to find them and celebrate the magic of the season or will the Dragon of the Mountain keep them hidden forever?

These guys are making my day every time I read about their antics. Celebrating Christmas has never been so fun but then again, Easter was fun, halloween was fun.
I so want more stories in the series. At least Cuz'an warriors so I can get my fix of the dragon warriors.
All the dads have a christmas lights competition, the mums tell christmas stories and the dragonlings & Alice & Roam, go on an adventure to save christmas from the lonely old dragon on top of the mountain.
Hehe, so cute and sweet with the little baby dragonlings enjoying their first Christmas holiday. Their mothers being humans from earth have brought Christmas to the planet of Valdier and the people of Valdier. A little bit of dragon fun, games, sweets, treats, marshmallow guns, tangled Xmas lights, Xmas trees, food, and of course an adventure. This is a very short, sweet, cute xmas novella to read.
i was not expecting to need tissues at the end! i was expecting holiday hijinks as people competed for the best light show and what not. i did not expect it to turn into a renactment of the grinch with an adorable drangonling twist. this was just the right book at the right time though. put me right into the christmas spirit
Read this book the day it came out and was very pleased with the story. It shows the true meaning of Christmas by teaching the concept of giving to the Dragonlings, who in turn demonstrate what they have learned in the most fascinating way. The relationship between the many different alien species and humans is great fun too. I cannot say more without giving away the story. Loved it and am ready for more.
It is not often I give a 5 star rating. A story really has to earn it. This story has it all. The adventure that the young dragonlins and other young go on is touching. They learn to work together, and to always look out for each other. It starts when they want to stop the old dragon from stealing Christmas and to become his friend. I highly recommend this. Great job S.E. Smith
I just adore the Valdier's stories. Well written and brilliant continuation of this series. I love to catch up on the children and how differing traditions are explored.
The story itself is fine, but the way the kids talk is seriously annoying. The baby-talk dialogue gets old fast. I already wasn’t a fan of how the author made the dragons speak in broken sentences in the other books, but at least they don’ usually have a ton of lines so it’s easier to ignore. In this one, the kids are basically the main event, and their weird baby talk is nonstop and so irritating. Maybe it’s worse because I listened to the audiobook instead of reading it, but either way I was very relieved it was a short book.
Adorable story about the first Christmas on Valdier. All of the brothers and their friends children were involved in an adventure. They were told a story about an old dragon who lives on the mountain and tries to steal Christmas. The children get it in their head to find the dragon and befriend him. I adored this story. The children were so cute in their actions and how they all contributed to their survival during the trip up the mountain.
Fantastic job of storytelling!!! What a wonderful creation of dragons and their families. I loved every second of this book. Laughed, cried and worried about what would happen to the little ones. Can't wait till the next one comes out, hope it's soon!!! Smith really has a way of drawing you into her stories.
This book was artfully crafted and uniquely designed to pull you into the pages where secrets and fairytales live!
This book was all about adventures and experiences that the dragonlings go through to save Christmas from the old Dragon in the mountain! But his story doesn't end there, thank God!
This is an author who you won’t be disappointed in reading. All of her books I have read so far have been above outstanding. She has a gift for imagery and humor. Such friendship, love and laughter fill her pages along with suspense and adventure. Enjoy
LOVED IT Who doesn't love dragons and the dragonlings are just too sweet. It is nice to see the couples from previous books. I have loved all of S.E.Smiths series that I have read. They are even better on Audible.
Good book but a little sad at Christoff's situation & trapped alone when he finally found someone to care for him after so long alone. Though I knew he would survive it was sad seeing him so alone & unhappy
This was by far the best of the dragonling stories I have read so far but please stop adding s to everything. It is not how all children talk and it is really turning me off. I love the story line without this
This book was fun. It was well written as always and it was really nice to know how all the characters have developed. The kids adventure were great! I loved the audio book!
This is my second timeReading This amazing story And I still cry All of your books are amazing I think you should keep writing them Thank you thank you so much For this Amazing journey.
There's a Christmas light competition that creates power issues. One of earths Christmas stories about the Grinch is edited to fit Valdier with some unexpected consequences for the young ones. A new friend is discovered in the middle of a crisis. This is an amazing story.
I love the dragonlings & Roam & Alice! They are the cutest and most adorable little things! Their conversations with each other are priceless! Must get the other dragonlings books now!
