For ten years, Sin and Jolie were inseparable. Now with Sin happily married and pregnant with twins, Jolie is feeling lost and restless. She knows something is missing, but the closest she comes up with is a desire for her own baby. Maybe, if she could just get past her issue with men, she could find a proper sperm donor.
For the past ten months, she's been working with Mac. Other than being male, he's younger, her complete opposite, and pretty much wrong in every way. Soon he instructs Jolie to take a vacation, and decides to join her. It's only a week, but by now Jolie should know that someone who seems wrong can be oh so right, and a week can change the course of a life.
How else was she going to parlay her two favorite past times into a career?
Emma is single and loving it. Like her first character, Alysin, Sin for short, she doesn't believe in settling or in settling down. She loves to indulge in her passions whenever the mood strikes and enjoys keeping all of life's cliche moments spicy.
Known for her sense of humor, Emma surrounds herself with friends whose antics often become the source of book fodder. Her ideal situation would be to explore the Caribbean while writing. She pursues that dream daily.
In this Contemporary romance novel, Jolie is unhappy. She's bored by work and morose about seeing Sin and Ben happy. She starts to ask herself: WWSD...What Would Sin Do? and decides...SHE NEEDS TO TRAVEL. Her boss, Mac, decides that Jolie needs to take a vacation and he'll go along with her. There area few fun twists and turns, and of course, the book is HOT!
Something about this book, namely Jolie, bothered me. She gave up on being a lesbian, she was wishy washy about a couple of things, and I get that she was worried about stuff from her past, but I didn't care for her as much as I hoped.
Sexual Content (1-5): 4 Hello sexy-hot and spicy; enough to say Oh yeah!
Cliffhanger? Nope, wrapped up nightly with a bow. Series? Yes, this is the 3rd book after Sin at Sea and Vixen in Vegas Will I Recommend This Book? Yes, it wraps up the other 2 books nicely. Recommend The Author: I like the other books by this author because they are light fast reads.
OMG, I loved this book, what an amazing story. it completes the series. Jolie and Macs story is engrossing, heart stopping, hot, and boy is it Jolies turn for an hea - but will this be it?? With a guy???? With her history??? you've got to read this book, Emma Nichols just got better. Word of caution, tissues will be required!
Heaven in Hedonism..an incredibly great story! I love everything Emma writes, but I gotta tell you, I think this is her best book yet. I never saw this story turning out the way it did, and I was very excited to read Heaven! Jolie’s story is a wild one! Very sad to see this series end.
Awesomeness,Passionate,Drama,Sexual relationship between the two character's in this story! Sometimes funny, others sad! But all the time was absolute amazing story to read! The author of this series was silly amazing! Excellent story of people who met and fell in love each in a different way! Enjoy
This is closer to 3.5 stars. I didn’t love it as much as Sin’s books so it’s not quite 4 stars for me. I did love learning more about Jolie and following her on her journey.
For ten years, Sin and Jolie were inseparable. Now with Sin happily married and pregnant with twins, Jolie is feeling lost and restless. She is a lesbian, or so we think, thought, hhhmmmm thinking here... This was ultra steamy!
As usual we love Sin and her drama. I fell for the characters in book one and then book 2 was so different. Book two takes a BIG emotional turn. I was shocked because book one was light and fluffy and them bam! I am shocked! Anyways this goes back to the light, sexy and sinful read type of novel. After the girls go through their life changes, knowing Jolie has financial security she takes a job with a computer based company. Her boss Mac is exactly like her. Mac is committed to work, computers, and money. He is focused as much as Jolie. When Jolie realizes something is missing, it is quickly revealed it is a baby. When you are a lesbian it is pretty obvious that it cant go the usual route, right?
Well I really want to say that it is so super juicy! You just gotta label it a "must read" and also tell you there is a wonderful friendship that continues to be the forefront of this series.
Jolie is selfless. She gave up the nomadic life with her best friend Sin so she would settle down, knowing that if she hadn't, Sin wouldn't have and would have missed her happily ever after. In an essence though she felt obligated, but you will have to read the story to understand that part. Mac is really wonderful and while he has his own faults it only serves to make him believable. Jolie does show great growth throughout the story, which is not an easy feat for an author and should be recognized. I have to say I understand the concept behind the character and why her book was last in the series. Sadly, I think many will not and will slam the author for the choice vs nature issue underlying here. To me obviously the character was never that way, but hod behind it out of fear. I think others will not see it that way. It was a good book though and a good way to wrap the series up. One of the things I love most about Ms. Nichols books is that she does embrace hard or taboo subjects and she writes them fantastically well.
Jolie needed a happily ever after. After the nightmare she went through in high school she is finally able to move past it and live her life as she was meant to. She can finally have what Sin has. After Sin met and married Ben Jolie was feeling alone for the first time in 10 years. After meeting the twins she realizes she wants a baby of her own. Going away with Mac she just wanted to make herself feel comfortable around men. Who knows maybe he would agree to get her pregnant. But what she found was that she enjoyed being with Mac and he was able to let her face her fears.
Before Mac she was unable to trust men. She was bitter and tried to be her own person never needing a man. Mac made her feel that it was okay t o need him and who knows maybe they could be good together.
This is the 3rd & final book in this amazing series. This one revolves around Jolie as Sin as already found her happily ever after. The story-line flows through perfectly from the first book till this book. This book is very well written with no plot holes. The character's are realistic with raw emotions & you can't help but fall in love with them. You will find this book steamy, hot, sexy, romantic, funny, adventurous with twists & turns & a fun read. If you have not read the other two books you will want to pick them up. I highly recommend reading this series as you will not be disappointed as it is amazing. A great end to this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed and Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
A great end to a brilliant series. I loved this conclusion to the stories of Sin and Jolie. Jolie is feeling all at sea because Sin, her best friend who she has done everything with and lived the life of a nomad with, for the last decade or so, has found her happily ever after and that leaves her wondering where her life is heading. Jolie has been hiding from herself out of fear. The love story is beautiful and touching and I think that this story is the perfect ending to Jolie's story. I am really glad that Emma Nichols rounded out the series with her story.
Heaven in Hedonism is the 3rd book in the Sinful Series. Another fun read by Emma Nichols. This book is Jolie and Mac’s story although we do catch up with Sin and Ben and their family. This book is heart stopping and HOT. And boy does it take a major turn in events. This fun read was the perfect ending to this series although I hope somewhere down the line Ms Nichols lets the characters resurface in another book. You cannot go wrong with this book but you will want to read the first two books in this series. I highly recommend the fun, fantastic, fabulous read.
The two main characters each finally find a way to heal, move on and find something lasting after both having been hurt by someone in their past. First, they both have to realize that sometimes you have to let the past go and not hold the hurt someone else caused against the possibility of a future. It isn't always easy to realize that not everyone is going to be like the person that hurt you. If they can understand that, then there may be true happiness in the future.
'Heaven in Hedonism' (The Sinful Series Book 3) by Emma Nichols is a fantastic story! After reading the first two books in this series: Sin at Sea and Vixen in Vegas I was dying to read Jolie's story. Emma didn't disappoint. This story is just...wow! I truly enjoyed reading about Jolie, Mac, catching up with Sin, Ben and the babies. I just love all these characters! Highly recommend this story to everyone that loves romance.
This third book is just perfection! I thought Sin's story was hot but Jolie and Mac hit the nth degree! Totally enjoyed getting a more complete look into Jolie's character! It never seizes to amaze my how this writer brings these characters to life so quickly I literally want more of their life stories! Their vacation.....my oh my oh my! Pick up this series for a read, no disappointment found! Book has been read for an honest review.
Ideal conclusion to this series! Heaven in Hedonism is the 3rd book in the Sinful Series. This is Jolie's story and what a story it is! This book is a story of friendship and the trust and love that goes along with it.. This book is so fun & the surprises that Ms. Nichols throws in there will be shockers! Don't let the steam fog up your reading glasses! ;) You're going to want to read this in one setting. A perfect ending to this trilogy!
Ohmigod--what a wonderful book! Emma Nichols knows her way around contemporary romance...and she has given us yet another winner.
Heaven in Hedonism is book 3 in the Sinful Series, and what a delightful treat to read. The storyline is awesome, the characters are delightful...and with this book, you laugh, cry, and feel like you're part of the story, too. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and really enjoyed it.)
I loved reading Jolie's story. From finding out about the worst moment in her past to the happiest moments in her present was amazing. This story was extremely touching and the perfect read. What more can you ask for from an amazing woman and her best friends to sweet wonderful men? Nothing I tell you. This book has amazingly sweet read written all over it.
Jolie told sin in the last book to quit running...this book she had to take her own advice. I was crying with her because I've been through both traumatic situations but they happened in my teens. I loved this series...... glad everything worked out for Jolie and Mac.....kinda wish there was more people involved so there would be more books....GOOD JOB
I've been waiting for Jolie's story and this book didn't disappoint. I loved her character even more in this story, learning why she stayed away from men, watching her learn to trust again with Mac. Their two week stay at Hedonism was steamy and I fell in love with Mac along with Jolie.
I hope that there are more stories with these characters in the future.
Amazing conclusion to the Sinful Series centering around Jolie and her boss, Mac. This has all the elements of a perfect romance - emotional, playful, and excellently crafted with just the right amount of spice. Once I started reading, I couldn't put the book down and didn't want it to end when I got to the last page. I look forward to reading more from this very talented author.
I mean seriously, the Jolie in Sins books you have to admit wasn't screaming "write me"! What a pleasant surprise! It is so well written! Emma pegged the characters personas perfectly! Big high five stars even though I wasn't to keen about the age difference. In the end it was too easy to over look, it didn't really matter.
Heaven in Hedonism is a short read that made me giddy, heartbroken, and happily satisfied.
Books 1 & 2 are about Sin, and as much as I liked their story, it was Jolie's story that I really enjoyed reading. It was fun to read about their vacation together, even though I find the circumstances a bit unbelievable/unrealistic.
One moment can completely change the direction of a life. Jolie learned that another moment can change the direction back again. The final book in this trilogy has me utterly charmed. It's so sweet and precious, it has me wanting my own Mac to drag away to Hedo. I loved seeing Jolie grow past her fears and watching her and Sin's lives exceed their wildest dreams.
This was an amazing read that is just as addictive as the first 2 in this series. It moved along at a great pace, has characters that you will fall in love with and want to see happy and a story that will not let you down. This book needs to be read, there is no doubt about it.
Omg I can't believe H Jolie, Ha what a name it will keep you in suspense. Mac et Jolie story doesn't disappoint. Has it all Love/ hate relationship, drama, angst, loved it. Great that you see perks of Sin et Ben. Great ending. Definitely recommend
