I loved, loved, loved this book. So, first you want to read Connor Connor (SEAL Team Seven, #1) by Jordan Silver , the first of the seven SEALs who have retired together to Georgia, and started finding the loves of their lives.

Logan is the leader of the group. They retired from the Navy, but have found there is some trouble in the paradise they retired to. In Connor, they were trying to figure out if a group was running drugs into their town, and found that the bad guys had used Connor's lady-love's charity to launder some money. They stopped that and identified the people directly involved, but they know there are powerful people behind them. In this book, they are trying to find the ringleaders and it gets scary and dangerous. There are stake-outs, kidnapping, shooting, fighting--lots of good action.

Logan met his feisty heroine in the first book, and they are together now. He is all military alpha (do what I say, don't expect an explanation, lots of hard sex). She is not used to being told what to do, and challenges his self-granted authority at every turn. Since she has no idea what is going on (stupid military alpha man), she leads some other ladies into danger. Don't worry--Logan and the team save them. She gets her first spanking with a belt. She was just worried about the wedding planning being delayed, because she has the best reason to want to get married soon.

They are very sexually compatible, which we get to enjoy reading about. Jordan Silver writes great sex. Often-times, it is rough, but always consensual.

Jordan Silver also writes great, smutty dialogue. I love the dirty talk. We get several male and female points of view, always clearly identified. I love reading the male points of view, and hope men really think that way, because it is hot. The female points of view are very realistic and fun, too.

After reading for the second time I am struck with the fact that I feel shafted by not reading about the Gaby and Logan from the beginning of their romance. There was that part in Connor that shows when Gaby is at the bar dancing with some other guy and Logan grabs her and forces her to sit next to him for the rest of the night and then takes her home. We don't really hear anything in the first book except that Logan and Gaby are together. And in this book they start in the middle!!! I really wanted to know how they first met and what they were feeling during their first time together (especially since Gaby was a virgin).

Because I feel strongly about this I'm changing my 3 stars to 2. :-(

2.5 stars. Did not love Logan and did not like Gaby (? Sad I cannot remember her name) at all! The story did not allow you to connect with them and I could not figure out at all what brought them together or kept them together. Logan was cold and distant. Always complaining about her both verbally and inside his head. The other story lines are taking over and we are losing sight of the main couple. This was a safe book. Just did not like it all that much.

Great second part to the series. Loved Gabriella, she had lots of spirit and I liked that she was always up to mischief. Looking forward to Zak and Vanessa's story.

I devoured this book yesterday and today I am going to reread Connor and Logan AGAIN!!! Jordan has sky rocketed to the top of my favorite author list, since I found her in late feb 2015. This series has what I want, hot uber alpha men, sassy women, plot twist and hints of things to come. For those who seemed to miss it...the guys call Logan..."Lo", and Connor "Con", we have the set ups for future books Ty and Victoria, Zak and Nessa. Again people seemed to miss some things...Nessa was a marine, and had a prior relationship with Zak, they had a bad split, she has left the marines, and the guys did not know...how, when or why. Now she is back, as a favor to them, but she seems to know a lot about pregnancy.....hhhhmmmm....we shall wait and see! If you like hot alpha military men (seals), and your romance books spicy hot, with a dash of danger, here is the series for you! *on a personal note....if you do not like these books, for some obscure reason, might I suggest...don't read them. I never understood bashing on an author. I have plenty of books I have not finished, but not once did I EVER attacked the author. It takes a lot to write a book, self edit, self publish and turn out multiple books per month, I think Jordan Silver is amazing, she has chosen to be independent, to walk her own path and to be true to herself. That should be celebrated, not attacked! So I lift my coffee mug to her and say THANK YOU, for being you!! Please keep writing and I will keep buying and reading!*

This is the second book in the SEAL Team Seven series. Logan is a former Navy Seal who retired & moved to a quiet town in Georgia with six of his Navy "brothers". The seven men inherited a large chunk of land from their deceased Commander & built houses inside their own gated community. They started their own Construction Company that is doing very well & making them all a lot of money. Logan is engaged to Gaby & she is planning their double wedding along with Dani, Connor's fiancé.

So as soon as I saw the link in my email for this baby I downloaded. I have been waiting on the next book in this series for a while. Nice setup in this book for additional stories. I must say the punishment of sex....hmmmm. I thinking I like that idea! Who wouldn't be a bit sassy for that kind of servicing.

SKIPPING THIS WHOLE SERIES FOR THE SAME REASON,
Too much pain and punishment for me here.
It's not the book, it's just me!
The sample tells me I am not the intended reader of these books.
Still love this author and have read most of her other books, just can't do this series.

Another great book from Jordan Silver. I was so happy she felt she was able to go back to the Seal Team 7 series. It was definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to read about the rest of the team!

While I like this series and I liked this book, I had issues with this couple. When it starts, they've been together over a month and I feel gyped not getting to see their relationship evolve. Unlike Connor and Dani who started with a literal bang but were very tender and sweet.

The biggest problem is Gabriella, she was immature, spoiled and too stupid to live. I actually wish he would have beat her a$$ black and blue because after she did something tstl, she didn't even get that she put others in danger. Still, I can get past it because like I said, I like the series and am interested in the other characters.

Sadly I have gone back to this novel several times and have been put off by the vocabulary and descriptive sexual content. I wasn't quite sure if I had a serious work of fiction in my hands or an article from Hustler Magazine. After multiple attempts I came to the realization that there just didn't appear to be anything in this novel capable of holding my attention and interest.

I put this aside unfinished.

Let's see. A HOT ALPHA, a heroine who is a troublemaker, and A HOT ALPHA!

Jordan makes the best Alphas! Logan is protective, thoughtful, and a no-nonsense type of all man! I loved every thi about the book. The length was perfect ( in more than one way!) the heroine and hero have chemistry and are super cute!

Of course

These guys are serious alphas, and who is our genius alpha writer, oh....that's jordan Silver. These guys are a book load of alpha. No lie there. Logan was quite extreme, and I have a feeling when Tyler and Cord get their stories, well it's gonna get really rough for the women they take on.

This was an okay read. Logan was the leader of the group so it was nice to see how he took care of everyone in their group and now his new 'sister'. Gabby was very different from Dani in that she had less tolerance for being told what to do and she constantly tried to test Logan which annoyed the hell out of me. It was also kind of weird that it jumped right into their story. I felt like I missed a chunk of their story that wasn't covered in the last one.....

I do enjoy these books.
It's just the way they decide on how to punish the girls as they put it. They say it is for there own good but it is abuse in my eyes.
You do need to read the series in order as each book is based on 1 character, there girlfriend and there view point. But you still have the all the other characters involved.
Action, romance, abuse, sexual scenes

Something must be in the water

Logan and Gabby have a lot of ups and downs mostly because she is spoiled and wants her way and her special wedding. Why do the good guys fall for the princess. I hope she has more redeemable qualities than are in the book.
Of course a Jordan book is so full of heat it should catch fire all on its own.

LOGAN and GABRIELLA

Okay let me start of by saying that this book is much better than Connor. The mystery of the docks, is finally getting ahead, with more questions than answers and a lot of danger and intrigue build up.
Honestly that is literally more interesting than the ‘romance’ in the book. There is a lot of the usual Neanderthal ‘you are mine’ and ‘you-do-what-I-say-or-you-will-be-punished’.

We met Logan in the previous book when Gabriella was running circles around him. They too are complete opposite in nature, with Gabriella being a southern belle and Logan being a ‘rough-around-the edges’ SEAL.

Logan tried to keep his distance and save her from his complete possessiveness and controlling behavior, but Gabby is no shy belle. She goes after what she wants and she wants Logan.

Gabriella maybe polished on the outside but she is just as wild, just as rough with Logan as he is with her, which makes for some insane, over-the-top, scorching sexual scenes that are just too hot to handle!! Its not just dirty talk, its dirty, gritty, and raw sex, and not to mention there is also a lot of punishment sex.

If you are looking for some romance with some sweet loving, this is not the book for you. Honestly Gabby came across a little silly to me. All she cares about is the wedding. She is a bit too flaky and a tad bit annoying.

The most interesting portion is the mystery. I am honestly going to continue this book series only because of this reason. The threats are piling up, the layers are getting peeled only to reveal more layers behind them, their past is connected somehow?... Whats the mystery?! So many thought in my mind!

I like how the book introduces the next book characters and hints at their arrival as well. It helps the story to flow and its sucks you into their world.
I love the new characters getting introduced and even the way they are being invited into the book.

The families are increasing. Theres a sense of comradery that is so well written that you can vividly imagine it well.
Also, I loved how they treated the kid Davey. His integration into the family seemed so seamless and well done, it was ‘dare-I-say’ sweet!? And again, the mystery! How does Davey connect?!!

The action has also picked up and created a lot of drama, with danger following their ladies. Looking forward to reading this series further.

How can this series get any better?!

Logan is the leader of his team even though he is on home ground. Logan and the team have discovered there are illegal actions in their town. There are deadly circumstances that threaten the town and it looks like it's building so fast they might not find the ringleaders in time.
Logan isn't looking for a serious woman when Gabrielle is suddenly there. He knows she is the one for him and there's no way he's letting her go. Possessive, protective and controlling are his natural instincts where his woman is concerned. She will have to learn her place with this caveman or forget about sitting comfortably again.
I love this series. I really enjoy the intrigue of the military ops they uses to find the culprits of the illegal actions at the waterfront.
I can't wait for more!

Again should have been 5 stars

I will say the mistakes in Logan were not as bad as they were in Conner...
If you can get around that, it's a good book.
I felt there was less of Logan & Gaby in this one and more about the smuggling going on in their small Georgia town.
Finding out what really happened to the Commander is their main concern along with keeping their women safe.
I wanted to question why they were not deployed yet, but finally some questions were answered, however you are left with many more questions.
Just wanted to pull out my hair, having to reread sentences at times & deal with misspelled words.
Gaby is a handful for Logan, it was almost comical... Hmm, whose got their big bad Seal whooped?
Read and find out!

WARNING: This book, and series, is filled with misogynistic men. There is the threat of violence against women they claim to "love" and very crude language. There are a LOT of sex scenes that are VERY detailed. There is little actual conversation, mostly just the thoughts of the hero. Also there are a TON of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. I was able to read past them to a point but it was hard sometimes and resulted in having to reread a lot. I still finished this book and continued with the rest of the series but I honestly would not recommend this book to anyone. I'm still not even really sure why I keep reading this author to be honest.

I am really liking this series..

I am really liking this series, great emotion, good story line, some hot scenes....However, that being said, the author really needs to get a better editor! It looks like maybe auto correct chose to use different words than what the author intended (example, church should have been couch!) and the proof reading should have been done better. I still look forward to the next books in the series, but hope that the authors vocab improves along with the editing.

Neanderthals vs alpha male

I love an alpha male but these guys...they aren't alpha it's more Neanderthals. And using his dick as punishment by slamming into her and then just coming on her back because he is angry at her? That wasn't sexy for me. I like aggressive sex but using his dick as a weapon? That's a bit brutish. And what's with all "like a bitch" comments? I think the author tried a bit too hard to make these guys sound military tough and they came off as assholes. The sex scenes that weren't punishment were hot.
