Former navy diver Nicholas Harper likes his new world as captain of a dive boat in Hawaii. That is until a phone call from the past changes everything. Now his uncomplicated life suddenly becomes very complicated.

Powerhouse attorney Kara Lynn O'Conner's world revolves around her small Texas town where life is easy and safe. Focusing on her career keeps her dark secrets locked away, until a new case forces her to face the unthinkable.

Mai Tai Marriage:

Lexie Hale is happily single and loving her life in Hawaii as a dive instructor and manager of the Big Island Dive shop.

Lt. Commander James Borden thinks he's found the perfect navy wife for a man like him, until his prospective bride goes AWOL.

After a few too many Mai Tais on a Honolulu beach, all it takes is three shoelaces, two wedding leis, and a bowl of sand to turn both their worlds completely upside down.

Find out what happens when just pretend becomes all too real, and Lexie and James wind up in a Mai Tai Marriage.

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy-degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Twenty years later, she started scribbling short stories about her favorite TV shows, giving them lives more to her liking - and the elusive happy ending. Not long after, a dear friend dragged her to a local writers’ meeting. After winning multiple writing contests and making the finals in the Romance Writers of America’s prestigious Golden Heart contest, she now spends her days, and nights, writing contemporary romantic fiction with lots of emotion, plenty of surprises, and, of course, the happily ever after.

Chris lives in suburban Dallas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.

Loved these first three books in Chris Keniston's Aloha Series. I have become addicted to Chris's books and highly recommend them all. They are a great escape to a beautiful place and a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon while the kids are in school.

The first three books in the sweet version of Chris Keniston's Aloha series are great alone but in this combination, the books and the price can't be beat. I loved every book in this set and in this series. I read each of these books separately before this compilation came out.

Aloha Texas is a wonderful romance with an edge of suspense. From the phone call that sends Nick back to the Texas town he grew up end and escaped from the story sends curves and spins that drive the plot much faster than a typical romance. For a dedicate diver now separated from the Navy returning to the woman who left him six years earlier brings pain that even he couldn't expect. But along with that pain comes a whole new world of life and love that he wouldn't have expected either. Great characters pulled me in as much as the beautiful plot of the first novel in the Aloha series.

Almost Paradise --Some authors just know how to make characters touch us and become important to us; Chris Keniston is definitely one of those authors. The characters in the Aloha Series own my heart. They feel so real that they could be friends and other people I know. The taste of suspense that touches each stories just adds to wonderful character based plots. Romance the way I want to see it. Life isn't easy and people serious face problems, but there is always support and hope and lots of sexual energy. There is sex but it does not dominate the book.

I actually read Mai Tai Marriage first and I loved it so much that as soon as I finished it, I started Aloha Texas. With the beauty of the islands as a back drop to hot military and ex-military heroes and strong independent woman and with unique and wonderful stories created by an author who knows how to hook her readers, this series and this book are not to be missed. From the title, the basis of the plot will be no surprised but the path to that Mai Tai Marriage and the twists and turns that follow it will delight the reader who will not find any same-old-same-old in this tale of love, confusion, and a little bit of suspense.

I love this author's Farraday Country series so when I heard she was putting out a sweet and clean edition of her Aloha series I had to check it out. I read them 3, 2, 1. They can be read out of order but you know the out of the relationships if you do.

Book 1 - My favorite. Nick lives in Kona and gets a call from Kara who lives in Texas. The call involves an ex who has a big surprise for Nick. I loved how Nick stepped up but was frustrated by his parents acting like he should automatically know what to do. ugh - There was alot going on in this book. Nick's new role, Kara's involvement and past secret, and the and their potential romance. The author did a great job with all of this IMO, some don't. Bradley was adorable!!! This book provides the romance without the sex - really appreciate that.

Book 2 - Billy has baggage and Angela is running out of time - baby wise. Their attraction snuck up on them - really liked that. There are sparks but is he her Mr. Right for now or for forever? Love that it is a sweet and clean romance.

Book 3 - Stood up at the altar, a fake wedding, and an attraction - what could possibly go wrong? How about a real marriage? Some much going on in this book. Loved how these two fall for each other. Great side characters.

Actually this is a review of the first book "Aloha, Texas." Nick is a former Navy diver who is enjoying his dive business in Hawaii. When he gets a call from the snobbish lawyer Kara to return to dry midland-Texas, he has his concerns. His ex-girlfriend is dying and wants to speak to him. Suddenly he's a single father who's falling for the lawyer. Chris Keniston holds the reader's interest with witty, emotional conversation and enough suspense to make sure you don't put the book down. I'm ready to jump into the next book in the series.

Good Storytelling

I really enjoyed all three stories, with one small exception...a central character disappeared with no explanation during the ending scene of Book 1. He should have had a major presence during the epilogue. All three stories were terrific in their stand-alone plots, but were also smoothly connected. They left me to purchase Book 4, which I can't wait to read.

So Good!

It has been such a joy to read these three banded together books. When I usually finish a novel, I always wonder about what happened to the other characters. With these three books, I didn't have to wonder. I hope, at sometime, I get to read about the last Navy diver, Doug.

Really enjoyed this box set!

Enjoyable trilogy! Interesting characters, story lines, tropical setting, etc and all without everyone jumping into bed with each other, or graphic sex!!! This "cleaned up" series is for readers who enjoy good old fashioned love stories!

Wonderful series

There’s nothing like a son you didn’t know about, a threat from a drug cartel and a surprise marriage to make lives complicated. These stories are wonderful fun and marvelously written. Highly recommend.

Everything You Could Hope For

This series has it all; love, friendship, loyalty, tragedy and happily ever after. I don't usually give out 5 stars but this was a fun, fun series. Navy buds thru hell and high water. Read it you won't regret it.

If you have read Chris’s books then you know they are always emotional, humorous, light fun and keep you hooked from the first paragraph. The first time I read one of the sweet and clean Aloha series books, she had me reeled in. (I should have read them ages ago!)

This box set is a definite good deal! I went through many emotions while reading these stories, laughter lots of times with emotional tears thrown in here and there. The stories of the families and friends in Kona, Hawaii will work their way into your heart. You will want to be there with them as they work out their problems to find their happy endings.

I know you’ll come to love the characters in these books as much as I do. I love knowing that I will see them again as she writes her next novel in the series. When you’re finished with this set, you’ll be anxious to move on to book #4.

I won this set as part of a prize package and found myself enjoying this set very much. I love a great series and I love when each book can stand on its own but also mentions or incorporates characters from previous books. Chris did a wonderful job with these books. They weren't quite what I was expecting, but that was a good thing :-). I'll be looking for the other books in this series. Thank you again for this wonderful prize.

A real mixed bag. Three book, three different stories somewhat connected. The first was ok, the second was great but the third was such a bummer, I gave up at 76 percent. I just didn't want to waste time on a story I didn't like and had no interest in reading.

Alpha 1-3

What an awesome collection of books. This series is heavy on romance with some suspense added. This series is not heavy on suspense but a great series of books. The romance factor is high but not erotic. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I did like the characters and the plots and was glad it wasn't too terribly steamy! I particularly liked how as each story ended we still heard more in the next!
