First off, LOVED THIS READ!
I thought the storyline was unique and well written.
For me, this was a recommendation from cousin TT. However, I did not realize it was going to be a series. Honestly, I might not have read it immediately because I was looking for a one off quick read.
HOWEVER, I am glad I did read it because I loved it...Where the story ended has my jaw on the floor.
The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five was because a couple of minor details and a couple of times the writing was worded a little confusing TO ME.
Overall, it was an amazing story and I definitely plan to follow up with the series. Based on the way the author tells a story also has me wanting to check out more of their catalog.

wwwwwhhhhaaaattt did I just read
This book was sooo good! You got a Doctor that’s living a double life. That man is beyond sick in the head too. Kori got pregnant by her rapist and ended up in a relationship with him which by the way unbeknownst to her. I can’t wait to read book two. I will say the storyline was different from any of the other urban books I have read.

This book took me on a lil emotional ride but that cliffhanger ending threw me for a whole loop! I can’t until part 2!
