There were times I loved these books but too many times I hated Theresa, seriously wanted to slap her. However the story was really good and at times I couldn't put it down. The first one annoyed me way more than the second one because the first was all in Theresa's POV, getting Antonio's POV in the second one helped so I could get out of her head. Overall a really good read though and I will go ahead with the last book even though either one of these could actually be read alone because most things were wrapped up well enough, I still want to finish it out.

Terrible reading
This book didn't make sense at all. I can't believe I purchased this book. This book receive good review I don't see how I had to skip to different chapters of the book to understand it. Don't waste your money on this author. I can't believe she wrote a sequel.

I have to admit I really enjoyed both books even though this was definitely not a typical HEA type series. I still need to read the last book Rule in order to decide for sure how I feel about this series.
Theresa and Antonio are sizzling hot together and while I would avoid anyone in the mob in real life....I admit I can see why Theresa can't keep away.

Spin is just a whole bunch of sexiness, "you don't look upset," he said. "You're flushed. Your heart is racing. I can see it." He stepped forward. "Your breath, you're trying to control it. But it's not working. If I saw you like this in a different time or place, I'd think you were ready to eff." He's so damn blunt and honest, "since the minute I saw you," he said into my neck, "I've wanted to open your legs and take you." Theresa the girl is just as honest as he is, "his pants were open, and hi di** lay against my engorged clit. I reached down. He'd gotten it out and wrapped while he was eating me. You're very skilled," I said. "And you're huge." I mean the man always has sex on the brain when it comes to Theresa, "saw that," he said, cutting a strip of lemon peel. "You looked sexy as hell. I wanted to eff you over again." He's also possessive and protective of what's his, "listen to me," he growled putting his hands on the chair arms. "I will kill any basta** who touched you. So you walk into a room like that again without me, you'd better want the man dead." I'm hoping there's a part two because I loved these two characters so much.
RUIN:
Antonio is a real passionate man, "my job is to eff you until the neighbors think I'm murdering you." I kissed his cheek, his chin, his lips. He was erect in less than a minute." I felt bad for Antonio and Theresa there were times I just wanted them to have normal in their lives, "but next time we go to a wedding, the worst that will happen is you get too drunk to dance." I mean if their story was normal it would be a boring read and these two are far from boring. I also wished Antonio would have given Theresa more credit she's a lot stronger than what he gave her. I enjoyed this book and am ready for a part 3.

Not bad
This series isn't bad, it is boring in places. Theresa is a pretty, good girl that is rich and as we learn hides a very bad girl deep inside. Antonio is a beautiful, rich, mobster that loses his good heart to Theresa. How can they be together when his life isn't his own, he may be the mobster but, her had no say, others do. This does get boring in places, it gets old to listen to Antonio want to "protect" Theresa all the time. It also gets old for Theresa to continually be selfish. What she wants, the rest be damned. The sex is HOT no doubt about that. It is n OK series

FINALLY! Two great stories in one amazeballs bundle!!
Spin:
OhEmGee! So you read the blurb about the book and it tells you that Antonio is a mafia capo. You think to yourself "another mob book no biggie". Well guess what, it is a big biggie! I could not consume this book fast enough. Theresa and Antonio were not at all what I thought they would be. Their relationship was hot and exciting. I love me an alpha male and Antonio did not disappoint. I am beyond thrilled to read more about my new favorite couple!
Ruin:
Book Two in the Corruption series is simply amazing. I love this book for several reasons.
1) Antonio Spinelli. He is everything I hope for in a leading male. Strong, confident, "skilled" and alpha through and through.
2) Theresa Drazen. She is not your typical leading lady. I love her because she is torn between the person everyone wants her to be and the person she wants to be. She knows what is expected of her and doesn't let that stand in her way.
I am impatiently awaiting installment three in the series. I am on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happens to these two people.

I've already read the first in the series, but this was a steal of a deal getting the two books!
The second book picks up with Theresa and Spin moving forward in their relationship. Antonio "Spin" being in the mafia, and Theresa coming from a pretty notorious Irish Catholic family herself. Both families hate the thought of them being together. Theresa is willing to walk away from her life all together, to move forward with Antonio. Spin is battling with his position within the 'family', and how he can somehow keep Theresa in his life. People from both sides of their families do what it takes to tear them apart.
Theresa also finds herself falling into 'the life' of the mafia, as long as it leads to a life with Antonio. Their relationship is harsh, in our face, and doesn't hold back. Those same reasons are why it was hard for me to fall in love with the couple. It's was a good read, I liked where things went, but I found it difficult to really fall hard for the couple. The story leaves off with a bit of a cliffhanger.

What a ride. I'm a C.D. Reiss fan and know I will not be disappointed when I pick up a book of hers.
Spin/Ruin didn't disappoint. It's about Theresa Drazen, sister to Jonathan from The Submission Series, and mobster boss Antonio "Spin" Spinelli. They are from two different worlds yet their attraction towards each other is too big a pull and they start a relationship. At first it's only casual sex because of Spin's criminal background and the way he conducts his business. It then leads to a more serious and intense relationship.
I really liked the dark and gritty element of the book. The environment felt real. Theresa and Spin's chemistry was off the charts. Smoking hot and erotic. I loved the way she challenged him and pushed his buttons. Also the way she gradually started to find herself and her inner savage. Although Spin had done some terrible things, he was still a good guy. I liked his protectiveness and how far he would go for his woman.
There's a third and final book Rule out August 25th and I can't wait to see if Theresa and Spin get their HEA!

I absolutely fell in love with Antonio Spinelli and Theresa Drazen, what a smoking hot, intense couple. Take two intelligent, passionate, driven individuals that each have a past, baggage, and what you get is some seriously intense scenes.
He is such an intense man with complexities revealed bit by bit. She has is more complex that you expect.

I didn't think that things could get even more intense, or more raw with Antonio and Theresa, I was wrong. This book picked up where Spin left of and blew their story and blew that apart. I was sad, speechless, cried, happy.
There just can't be the Capo without his Contessa. Their connection is beautiful and intensely hot!
I am absolutely in love with their continuing story!

Sinfully amazing.
I love CD Reiss. She's an amazing storyteller who captures your attention from the very beginning. All of the characters are refreshingly different, even from the previous books, and it was great seeing slightly different versions of Jonathan and Margie and their interactions with the family. These new main characters are intriguing, you really want to know more about them. Antonio is mesmerizing and even though he is a bad guy you find yourself rooting for them to be together. Theresa simply came alive when she met him, it's like she living for the first time. Their love is so unique, the way they are with each other, the way they connected almost immediately and the way they love each other is incredibly passionate. I cannot wait for the next one.

I absolutely love this book. I am so into Antonio, hello Italian yum. I love this book and I can't wait for more. I love the whole mafia story. I love all CD Reiss books and again I was not disappointed. the sex was hot, the story was hot. I can't get enough of the Drazens either.. Amazing Must Read book

love,love this story.. I love the way CD writes this story and the flow of the story I couldn't get enough.. Give me more Capo and Theresa. I can't put my kindle down at all. when they are together it just sucks you and I just want to enjoy the ride.. I love the whole mob story and I can't wait for more. Another brilliant story by CD.

He's a scary mafia dude. She's a straight laced woman who broke up with her cheating boyfriend/mayoral candidate.
The two meet and it's fireworks. Of course, she goes to the dark side to be with him. He tries to get out of the life to be with her. The two are a bit twisted, and while their connection is HOT, I can't see what else the deal is with them - physical? Sure. Emotional? Yes - but what else is there?
The crime story was there, I got that. I understood the mafia boss/territory and all the history / drama that goes along with that, but what I didn't get was the relationship between Spin and T.

What I loved the most about this was that Jonathan was a part of it ... as much as Antonia seemed HOT!!! JONATHAN IS STILL SMOIKING AND DOES IT FOR ME ... I Cant wait for book 3 does he let her go back and see her brother... or do they remain DEAD?
C D Reiss you have definitely out done yourself with this series and of course Submission series... I really hope you write on each of the Drazen family they seem to have there own story along the way and I am sure you will make it unforgettable just like you did with Jonathan ...

I'm am officially in love with the Drazen family. I just can't get enough. Why are they not a movie or a tv show? There is so much to tell with this family. CD Reiss I haven't been much of a reader for years, you make me feel alive thank you.
