People have fear of failing - what if it doesn’t work out, what if nobody supports me, and what if I fall down? Don’t worry about that. You need to decide right now what is it going to be? You should wake up every morning and clap your hands in anticipation of another day and another opportunity to pursue your dream.
What’s your dream? This book will help you start today and focus on all of the reasons you can think of to accomplish your dream instead of all the reasons why you can’t. Have the courage to see the possibilities of your success.
“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
Hello, my name is Debra Barton, author and ex-hippie. Actually, I'm just an average girl who has always felt the need to have some sort of creative outlet. I sketch, paint, cook, decorate, sew, crochet, and have tried every manner of craft out there to keep the creative juices flowing.
Now I write books, even though most people believe it is a form of insanity. Too late. I surpassed that milestone years ago. However, I believe I am in good company.
I am one of those DIY gals who has never been afraid of trying something new or difficult. You can't scare me. I've raised two kids.
I currently live in East Texas after spending 30+ years in Houston. However, if you have a cabin in the mountains or a beach house and need a maid, please feel free to contact me. I can write anywhere and could use the inspiration.
Please feel free to reach out to a fellow conspirator.
All the best, Debra Email: author@debrabarton.com Website: www.debrabarton.com
There is nothing bad about Dream Launch, I just didn't get much from it. It starts with a chapter that feels like a pep talk. Every possible inspirational idea is jammed into a few paragraphs. It then moves in t ok some vague ideas about silencing doubts, making a timeline, not being lazy, and not living with regrets. Not any of it is bad, it just all feels rather undefined, like I just listened to a motivational speaker who wants to make me feel good but doesn't actually give me any skills to make my dreams come true. If you like motivational writing than this may be the book for you. If, like me you don't lack in motivation but could use some to-do lists and help with specific skills or ideas than I suggest you look elsewhere.
