Short story with backstory of the main character in the Dr. Jenna Ramey series. If you have not read the first book (Color Blind) the cliffhanger at the end of this story suddenly stops and will be somewhat disappointed. Having said that, the writing is excellent and the story weaves details smoothly.
This short story introduces us to Jenna Ramey a teenager who is fighting to save herself and the family that matters... This is a dark story trying to outsmart evil, but it's also about love and a girl with a special gift! She's afraid to approach an adult for help, cause well who would believe a kid...
Loved it! This short story had my heart racing! Once again, great writing. Detailed insight into young Jenna dealing with Claudia and trying to save her dad and brother. Can't wait for more!
