A Little More Than Kin (Kindle Edition), my sixty-fifth read from author Blair Howard. A well-written and enjoyable, ghost story, thoroughly entertaining, as always! I always look forward to the next work from Howard. A Blair Howard book is like a visit from an old friend. I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

I came to know Mr. Howard's books as regarding civil war novels that take you into what battle was really like. Also he writes about real civil War Battlefields, travel books, and photography books. Mr. Howard gave me a copy of this fascinating book to read and give my honest review.

This amazing author writes like the hand of God. Each book gets me pumped up even more. He knew I love haunted places: reading about Gettysburg and Savannah (2 of the most haunted cities).

I began reading this book in bed in pitch dark, and I got the creeps. It is not a gouache, overdone horror book. It is the perfect classic type of tale about a couple who stop in the rain to a spooky hotel with a particular owner/caretaker. Just like those never out of date classic movies, this book keeps you in great suspense, with twists and turns everywhere. It is just creepy and thrilling enough to keep your imagination building up the fright factor. It is a real special treat that will make you want to read it over and over again. I hope to see more like these. I truly love the storyline and think it is really thought out.
