Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. In addition to The Sixth Gun, his current projects include Crooked Hills, a middle reader horror prose series from Evileye Books; The Tooth, an original graphic novel from Oni Press; and various work for Marvel and DC. Somewhere along the way, Cullen founded Undaunted Press and edited the critically acclaimed small press horror magazine, Whispers from the Shattered Forum.

All writers must pay their dues, and Cullen has worked various odd jobs, including Alien Autopsy Specialist, Rodeo Clown, Professional Wrestler Manager, and Sasquatch Wrangler.

And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. Buy him a drink sometime, and he'll tell you all about it.

No hero is safe from this bloody rampage!! Hell yeah!! In this issue Deadpool is more conniving and a total psycho, with even less empathy and a busy schedule. I loved this part so much. The killing was crazy, the plot got thicker and the artwork got better.

Killing spree season and.. Noone is safe anymore, the picture is getting clearer. The heroes? The villains? All of them are on the "next" list. And Deadpoole is getting worse.

Now that we got a taste of how interesting and quite the world can be without its heroes, those who are left behind will hatch a plan to put an end into Deadpool's madness, but is it gonna be enough?

NOTABLE KILLINGS IN THIS PART:

SPIDER MAN
THOR
IRON MAN
LUKE CAGE
HULK
CAPTAIN AMERICA

This quick plot makes me feel like it's too easy to kill the Avengers and Hulk and Spider-man. I'm not saying it's not cool but Deadpool is getting disturbing a little bit. I'm glad he still has his typical humour which makes the comics more readable.

LOOOL. De verdad que me río por no llorar. Si me dolió la primera muerte del primer volumen, con este tomo mi corazón explotó :(((.

This moment.... oh my God... The impact.... right in the guts.
I know plot armour but what the fuck? Where is Spidey's spidey sense? Still, love the brutality. Also, obviously a gun is the ultimate solution.

If we take the logic out and just go for the implications, then this is GOLD. It is.
Smart Wolverine - that's .... refreshing.

I never expected so many emotions from this when I picked it up.

No one is bloody safe from Wade's abysmal descent into insanity. He actually believes he's doing the right thing by killing all of his closest friends. Spiderman's fate was the saddest but I think he should've been able to see it coming. Peter could've put up more of a fight and ensnared Deadpool in a spiderweb or something.

I find that the horror genre doesn't really translate well to comics, or maybe horror comics or just not for me. I did like how I was now getting to know lots of characters at once, but that was basically all I was reading this for. It was alright.

It was a great story. However, I’m just a bit disappointed how easily everyone was killed especially spider man. This man has spider senses and couldn’t sense the gun. For me, spider man died way too easily and in a pretty wack way. Overall, great book though.

Deadpool kills Spider-Man AND a group of main adventures in this violent rampage that has things looking very bleak for the Marvel Universe. It's a dark and wild ride, but always with the potential to get even darker.

The artwork continues to be my favourite part of this series, this issue started of good but I feel like it started dragging on in the middle of the comic but towards the end when all the fallen heros' family and friends gathered to hire someone to kill deadpool, I found that it started picking back up hopefully it continues to progress in the next issue.

This is quite a nasty series. The death of Spider-Man shocked me; and the way The Hulk is just chopped off was quite brutal. Nice artwork, yet nothing out of the world.
