Enjoyed this read on my vacation last week. It was intense and I cried and felt so many emotions. Claire has been thru the foster system since her mom OD'd when she was 7 and she struggled to feel at home with anyone until she is placed with Jackie and Chris at age 15. Jackie is a single mom who runs a bakery but takes in every child that needs a home. Chris her son is also 15 and he is very into music and his band. In this 5 book series you really feel everything about these characters as they go thru so many changes, difficulties, losses, and a love triangle. It was a wonderful series that really filled my heart. The characters seem so real and the heartbreak is unimaginable. Cassia has done an amazing job telling this story- Chasing Abby broke my heart and yet it was perfect ending.

Where to start .."He says the best songs are written about movie screen moments "The story of Claire and Chris you love them you need them to be ok then what... No spoilers plot twist enter Adam I love him too.. Crap ! This is your love triangle broken put me together love story it was hard and more then a few times I had to take a moment. But it was worth it you want to shake Claire and tell her WHAT! Those epilogues and well adding Chasing Abby my heart is just mending. "It's not our mistakes that define us it's the lessons we learn that show our true character" Beautiful

OMG this has to got to be one of the most heart wrenching stories. I can't describe the emotional waves it took me on from the beginning to last words. It was one of the most amazing books I have ever read.

I really loved this series!! This series tells the story of Chris, Claire, and Adam, along with Senia and Tristan and Abby. Claire grew up under difficult circumstances and finally found a home with Chris and his mom. Chris is a talented musician and devoted to his first love, Claire. Adam is a talented surfer but struggling to deal with his past. Senia and Tristan are great friends to Claire and Chris, respectively. This series is at turns heartbreaking, heartwrenching, and heartwarming. It's a journey as the characters make mistakes, learn from them, and mature. I definitely recommend reading the entire series!!

I don't usually write reviews for books because I am not especially great with my words. However, I could not let this opportunity pass without reviewing this box set.

Breathtakingly Awesome! I was totally blown away with the characters, plots and the whole story. Claire, Chris and Adam were well defined as characters which made the love-triangle flow much more smoothly than other books. Then throw in Abigail and it was OMG! I actually cried, snotty cried while reading the Chasing Abby book. I want a Caleb kinda man in my life!

I read each book upon release rating each 5 stars. My favorite series by Cassia. This series is one that resonates with me even years later. It was emotional and raw. It amazed me that Cassia could write multiple books about two characters. These characters grew from young naive innocent teens into strong healthy people.

What a saga!!

Amazing that 2 people could go through so much turmoil in such a short time. I'd rate this 4 1/2*. I had a hard time with all these lifelong plans and falling in love and getting pregnant when these characters were in college. College age kids just aren't as mature and eloquent as these people were. But twists, turns, tragedies, angst aplenty. Also quite a bit of hotness and love. This is a series and I enjoyed reading the stories. The final book was pretty amazing. Abby's story really completed and ended this story in an amazing way.

This was truly a swoon-worthy, emotional roller coaster ride! Claire is brought into Chris' family as a foster child, and their romance blossoms. When Chris decides to pursue his music career, Claire is left alone, troubled and sad. She meets Adam, a surfer who is easygoing but has his own set of issues. This love triangle was so emotional and painful, yet beautiful at the same time. Can shattered hearts mend each other? I loved this series. It brought out the tears and the joy in every part of me.

Shattered hearts will shatter you

I hate waiting for series books to come out one at a time! So I wait for all the books in this series to come out and binge read. Addict? Yeah that's me.
I love this series! I had the worse book hangover ever by the time I finished! These books will not just break your heart, but shatter it. Then, they will leave you smiling. I highly recommend any book by Cassia Leo, but especially this set!

This is a bind up of 5 books in the Shattered Hearts Series so this is a review for 5 books.

At times I felt this was very juvenile and the plot lagged a lot but once I got passed the first book or so it picked up and I enjoyed the story of these childhood sweethearts and their long lost daughter.

It is heartbreaking but hopeful and I found myself very invested in what was to happen next.

What happened near the end of Book 6 destroyed me.

Tear jerker

I loved this series so much. I laughed and cried through each book. My only wish, because I fell in love with Adam is that him and Claire ended up together. Now I want a book on just them being together. Chasing Abby tore my heart out. I had to stop reading it a couple of times.

Took me a few days to get through this series. I was going to review each book separately but couldn’t stop myself from diving in to the next book.

Good Lord, this series...I tore through it. I read Relentless first before I realized there was a prequel, which I wish I hadn't done, but it didn't end up changing that much for me. I was never sold on Claire's romance with Adam, and I wish her choosing between him and Chris hadn't dragged on for so long; everyone probably could have predicted how that would end. I was happy with the way the love triangle was handled, though, in that we got to see Adam's side and that he was sort of feeling the same about the end of their relationship and was happy with where things were going with Lindsay. The whole adoption aspect killed me; I wanted to go back and tell Claire not to give up the baby probably just as much as the characters did. Oh, and I do wish we'd gotten to read more about her time while she was pregnant. Since I read Relentless first, I knew about it going in to Forever Ours, and I was disappointed when even at the end of that book, during the few chapters when she would have been pregnant, there was no mention. Although I do get that it was supposed to be a shocking revelation at the end of Relentless. Maybe I would feel differently if I hadn't read that one first (oops). ANYWAY the best part was the end of the series, honestly. I've always loved epilogues, getting to know more about how things turn out for the characters down the road, and Chasing Abby was basically one giant epilogue and I LOVED IT. I didn't think I would, but I was sorely mistaken. Getting to read about Chris and Claire's family was amazing, reading their dialogues made me so happy for them. But that ending, man...it absolutely g u t t e d me. More than any other book has (yes, even more than Stealing Harper, and that one was a doozy). It was so perfect, so well-done, that as much as I wanted to hate Cassia Leo for tearing out my heart (ha), I am just in awe. Finally, a perfect ending to a series that doesn't leave me with any questions or complaints. Even though I cried for almost an hour. Like, sobbed. There are so many tissues on my floor right now, and I'm honestly surprised no one in my family has come in to ask what the heck I was so upset about at 1 in the morning. This series was...it was just...beautiful. And I need to buy it BUT IT'S ONLY ON KINDLE SO FML.

I find this very hard to review. It's a long melodramatic saga of young love. Some parts were much better than others though none can be read as a stand alone book. Even though I enjoy a lot of young adult reading, it was hard for me to sympathize with these mostly college age young adults who were supposedly attending competitive colleges but making repeatedly poor choices. Seriously, how many unintended pregnancies can one group of acquaintances have? The final book of this box set, Chasing Abby, I thought was by far the best written.

This series was VERY good, and I really enjoyed picking it up and reading about these characters every time. I loved that I purchased the bundled series since some of the books ended on cliff hangers, and that would have drove me crazy! I loved the story of Chris and Claire - they really grew into the relationship together and both made mistakes that were heart-breaking. It amazes me that their love can overpower their mistakes and they were able to forgive. I did enjoy the Adam detour for Claire, and thought that the storyline played out beautifully for both characters. I was nervous that it would get to be too much drama, but Cassia Leo did a beautiful job depicting another "love" in Claire's life that helped heal and define her character. I was kind of hoping that the children of Lindsay and Adam would weave with the children of Chris and Claire, but maybe material for another story? ;)

I liked the jump forward to Abby's story, but god, that was one emotional Part 3. I knew it was going to shatter my heart based on the first chapter, but I still didn't expect the path it went. Abby received an amazing gift at the end though, and that was beautiful. It would be interesting to see a story with the siblings connecting more as they enter their late teens/twenties and focus on their story. I just wanted more of Jimi, Ryder, Junior, and how they bond with Abby! I'm glad that Chris and Claire got their happy ending. :)

Such an amazing love story! I read the entire series without growing bored or frustrated. It held my interest the entire way through and at times I couldn't read fast enough. Books like this are the reason I Love reading so much.
This was a love triangle. I found it very difficult to pick my favorite between the two guys. In the end I know she chose the right one and everything ends up happy just the way I like it.
This series really had it all. Hot guys I totally fell in love with, super sexy scenes ;-) and devastating moments that tugged at my heartstrings.
I'm also really impressed with the way the author held my interest in a long series such as this. Far too often an author tries to stretch out her books and the reader grows board with the story. That was definitely not the case in the series. I totally recommend this series for anyone who loves a really good love story.

Just reread the series 12/17. Not sure I had the same reaction to the series as I did the first time I read it. Although I enjoyed it, I found it was growing repetitive and loooong towards the end. I could even bring myself to read the last book about Abigail. I also favored Chris the entire way through, unlike last time I read it seems I would have been happy with either choice. Still a good read, just not 5 stars.... maybe 4.

This was truly a phenomenal story. I don't know if I've ever read a book that made me so emotional. When Claire set Chris free to follow his dreams she thought she would never get through all the emotional turmoil. Then she meets Adam and finds love again until Chris comes back into her life and secrets are revealed and everything explodes. Now she must choose between the one man she regrets letting go and the man that brought her back to life when her world was falling apart. Truly an amazing series. Definitely a must read.

The only complaint I have is that this is supposed to be the complete series and book 5 was missing. It skips right to book 6. I know that book 5 focuses on Tristan and Senia's story and the rest of the series was focused on Chris and Clair but it listed this as being the complete series and I felt that that should have meant that all 6 books were included. So now I have to purchase book 5 separate in order to get Tristan and Senia's story and it makes me feel cheated because it should not have been listed as being the complete series when their story is listed as part of the series and it wasn't included.

With that being said, Chris and Claire's story is definitely a 5 plus star read:-)

So I bought these books on a whim and I was so glad. What is there to say about Claire and Chris? At times I was annoyed with Claire even though I knew she had a rough life up until she met the Knight family. The way she did all that constant meditating in random spots was odd to me but what do I know? Oh Chris Knight. Man that was a heart of gold. When he loved you he loved you and wrote a song about it!! This set took me on their journey and introduced us to some new characters along the way. I did love Adam but he was all wrong for Claire. They just tried to fix things that they weren't really ready to fix. I loved her best friend and Jackie. Now the final book about Abby I wasn't expecting to have my heart ripped out. I was breezing along wanting to both be pissed and sympathize with the Jensens when BOOM. All stories get wrapped up in the end except Tristan and Senia. They have their own story out and I'm sure I'll get to that one soon. I'd read these books again and recommend them to anyone despite having my heart ripped out. Good books!!

Hearts.....

I am trying to discreetly wipe the tears off my face as I finished this bundle. I am so really lucky to read all the books at once. Chris and Claire deserve to end up together. To me Claire has no business being with Adam just two months after having a child. It is okay though. Maybe she needed to go through this pain to get back together with Chris. I also don't want to read about Adam and his cheating girlfriend and how they got back together. Not interested.

Chris and Claire's lives together is that much more richer when their child came to see them later after her 18th birthday. That brings me to 'Chasing Abby'. Oh Caleb, such a love is so hard to find. I was sobbing like a baby at that point. I don't want to give any spoilers. Please read this series in order, starting from the first book. It is surreal. I can't find enough words to write a justifiable review for the series. Just read it.

Shattered Hearts is a journey worth taking

Shattered Hearts is an amazing journey of facing fears, the dynamics of family, the love of a friends, the dedication of commitment and the absolute need of honest and true communication to hold onto was is dear. This series was so much more than I was anticipated. The journey experienced and shared by the amazing characters will take hold of your emotions and keep you captivated as you live through 25 years of the ups and downs Claire and Chris. You will laugh, growl, cheer, cry and celebrate with them and their friends and family. This is storyline takes you through several difficult subject matters with a grace and passion you do not often experience. Yes you will also experience the hot sex scenes but more importantly those moments are tastefully written, and most actually are surrounded in love.

My oh my was this such a fantastic series! There was not a moment during reading that even for a split second lost interest. I love when a book tells the story so well I can feel it in my heart and that is exactly what this series did. Chasing Abby had me an emotional mess but that's part of why that book in particular is one of my favorites. I love Chris and Claire's story since I am a believer in the good ol' quote "If you love something set it free, and if it comes back then it's yours to keep." Although my heart did break a little for sweet, sexy Adam. I was team Chris from the start and I love how everything fell into place for a happily ever after. Thank you Cassia for a story I will never forget, always recommend, and probably re read for a 300th time xoxo :)

Excellent, the entire series was an exceptional read

I loved the series, the characters were so lovable. The storyline was so well put together, the writing was excellent. This love story brought me into their (Chris & Claire's) world. I shared so many emotions with them as I read. I was happy when I saw how their love was expressed, aroused during their heated moments, sad when they did dumb things and I cried when I read the last book. There is sex, music, love, warmth, all of which I could relate to. Cassia Leo is definitely an author I will follow. Great Read!!!!! 5 stars*****

Shatteringly heartwarming...

Gripping and captivating scenes of everyday love, loss, and regret woven into everyday settings. We are immersed in an epic love story between Chris and Claire, who are uplifted by generous love as they struggle to find their way back to each other. The supporting characters add greater depth and balance to the multiple storylines. Every romance is allowed to play out and generously given a conclusion; Each ending is satisfying. The series presents an undeniable theme of love and family, regardless of where you came from and who you're with.

Healing a shattered heart

I enjoyed reading the books in this series. I would rather think of them as one long book because not all of the books have the capacity to hold their own without the others. This is a great story of struggle and triumph, heartbreak and healing hearts. I like the music references in the book showing a real appreciation of the art of music. Referring to some of the great musicians of all time. This is a great story of how love can help you overcome tragedy in many different circumstances.
