I won this cookbook from Goodreads First Reads. When I found out I won this cookbook I went out and purchased different varieties of Protein Powder (Vanilla, Chocolate, etc.) in anticipation of making different recipes. I'm glad I had the Protein Powder on hand so I could get started right away. This cookbook has an excellent recipe index and conversion table for temperature, volume, and weight. We made several smoothies (green banana, berry super smoothie, and the green dream smoothie). They were very good. I haven't tried the waffles or french toast yet but we got right to making some scones (blueberry lemon). Our son loved the fig walnut coffee cake, chocolate avocado pudding, and the lemon chia cupcakes we made. The chocolate chip cookies were also excellent. There are so many recipes in this marvelous cookbook. We feel privileged to have won this cookbook and look forward to making many more recipes. The cupcakes, cakes and frostings all look good. There are also several savory recipes we look forward to making. I highly recommend that you buy, gift but most importantly make some recipes from this cookbook. You won't be disappointed.
