Fletcher Novak is Sexy.

Fletch has charm, Fletch has charisma, and Fletch has moves. He turns dreams into reality two nights a week, baring his body to lonely women, bored housewives, and bachelorettes looking for that one last good time. He’s into one-night stands, one-time things, and he never, ever gets serious.

Tiffy Preston is looking for commitment.

A billionaire’s daughter with the world at her fingertips, Tiffy’s in Lake Tahoe to take over her father’s hotel and clean up the Mountain Men Male Revue Show. She’s well-bred, polite, and hates everything Fletcher represents.

But Fletcher offers Tiffy something she can’t refuse—total satisfaction and the man of her dreams. All she has to do is… everything he tells her.

Because Sexy doesn’t sell… it’s for sale.

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.

“Life is a game and everyone’s a player. Whether you believe it or not, the only thing that matters is the score.”

JA Huss can write dark romance, she can write suspense, steamy and emotional. Sexy is different than the types of books I’m used to from her. You won’t get that epic revelation or crazy twist- it’s lighter, it’s fun, but it’s still got that unique writing style and flare that is just hers.

Fletcher Novack is an entertainer. He’s the most popular of the Mountain Man show and he knows it. He uses it to his advantage. He sells sexy. Tiffy Preston is rich and successful, but she hasn’t had much luck when it comes to love…

 photo 304C0255-22B3-4941-B43D-E298C45A5B58_zpsb2mmrfyg.jpg

When Tiffy and Fletch meet, there is the obvious attraction there, but they also butt heads. Tiffy is strong willed and determined, and Fletcher is used to getting what he wants. Fletcher has big plans. Plans to make the his show bigger and more successful. He needs Tiffy for that. And Tiffy has a plan to catch the eye of the guy she has been crushing on for the longest. She needs Fletcher for that. Their story doesn’t start out as your typical romance, but I enjoyed the direction it took.
He feels like a part of me. He feels like he’s been with me this whole time. He feels… real.

If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining standalone with a cleaver storyline- look no further, Sexy is just the book for you. I love Julie’s writing and the message it conveyed- Sexy is on the inside!

"Sexy doesn't sell, it's for sale."

 photo image.jpg1_zpsvx3eylai.jpg

Okay, I never thought I'd write "JA Huss" (one of my all time fave authors) and "sweet" in the same sentence and not because Julie's not capable of it (her books have had their momemnts) but just because she usually brings a "on the edge of a knife" kind of feel to her reads. But with that said, this woman amazes me with her versatility. This was so different from anything else I've read from Ms. Huss but it was so good, so sexy, so sweet and totally enjoyable.

This was one of those books that made me feel good throughout the whole thing and certainly not in a sappy or roll-your-eyes saccharine sweet way. In true Julie Huss fashion, she gave me surprises and twists and turns that I never saw coming...

This was a story about the art of sexy and what that truly means, with Fletcher Novak, male stripper,and his boss, Tiffy Preston.

"Almost everything about Fletcher is hard. His muscles, His cock. His attitude. His gaze."
 photo image.jpg2_zps17q5om0b.jpg

"Life is a game. And there are many ways to win it."

I can't say more than that because this must be experienced first hand. Like a stripper's seduction, as the layers are peeled back and we see inside the soul of these characters and this story, sexy is at it's core.

 photo SExy2_zpsnns1w6td.jpg

In addition to giving us a refreshing and original story, Ms. Huss spares no magic in sprinkling this hot little number with sexy EVERYWHERE!!!

The dialogue, the innuendo and the sex scenes...

are sensual and scorching!!

I highly recommend this book. If you're a JA Huss fan, I need say no more and if you haven't tried one of her books, I say what are you waiting for? You want a feel good, butterflies somersaulting in your stomach, laugh-out-loud, soak your panties read...then read this book.

Julie brings back a taste of Tragic in this romance with a touch of comedy and a whole lotta sexy. Yes you heard that right. We know that no other author delivers the twisty quite like Julie, but in Sexy she delivers on a whole new level.

Screenshot_1

Fletcher Novak; stripper and a man well versed in the art of being Sexy. Tiffy Preston; Uptight and more than a little bit inexperienced. What happens when Fletcher offers up a deal to get Tiffy exactly what she thinks she wants in order for him to keep his job?

Well I won’t tell you exactly... but I will say it is explosive!

Sexy was a step outside of the dark, suspense romance box that we’ve become accustomed to over the last few years. Bring us a story that still held its secrets but gave us a light, fun read that was, as the title says, SEXY in every way.

Screenshot_2

Fletch was confident and you couldn’t help but love him. His character might have a few skeletons tucked away in a closet but you couldn’t help but just like him. He had charisma and like a moth, you’re drawn to him.

Tiffy was not like most of Julie’s heroines for me personally. She was a bit hesitant and stuck in her head quite a bit. Although she does give in to her lust and desire for Fletch, the connection was very physical on the surface (until it wasn’t). But her bits of fleeting self-confidence was exactly what her character was expected to have, after all, she did need Fletch’s help.

Screenshot_15

I loved the sexiness of this book. There could not have been a better title for this story than the one Julie selected. Fletch had moves and he knew how to use his body at its maximum potential, something that Tiffy was quite lucky to experience. But I think what I walk away loving most about this story is that it ended up being so much more than just a fun read. The story wasn’t dark or twisted, but it was much deeper than just surface story line to accompany a hot read. This story had its own drama and angst and in the end, I was left with a huge smile on my face. I think fans of Julie’s are going to love to see this lighter side and for new readers, this is just a taste of what this author can do.

JA Huss never disappoints. Seriously, NEVER. This book is so different from all her previous work, and she still managed to win my heart through her characters. I love you, woman.

“If you want the fantasy, then LET ME BE YOUR FANTASY.”
~ FLETCHER

description

Fletcher Novack is a male entertainer. The thing he does best is putting on a show and making every single person, male or female, turn to look when he does. Fletcher knows that no one wants to hear what he’s got to say. They only want to see what he can do with that hot, hard, damn sexy body of his. That’s all they want. That’s all they see. So that’s who he tries to be…

Fletcher is shocked when a girl he invites to come on stage rejects him with a blank face. No expression. Cold. Unimpressed. So he tries to get her attention by managing to place her reluctant hand over his denim-covered c*ck and hope to God to let him meet her after the show for some…fun.

And his prayers are answered, too. There’s just one problem: The cute poker-face girl turns out to be Tiffy Preston, he daughter of the owner of Preston Resorts. In other words, HIS BOSS. And all she wants is for him to teach her how to seduce someone.

Let the lessons begin...

OVERALL: Minus 1 star for the awkward drama at the last 30% of the book and for the usage of the word “princess” as an endearment, which is something I hate with all my being in books...

“Life is a game and everyone’s a player. Whether you believe it or not, the only thing that matters is the score.”

Tiffy Preston is a lot of girls I know. She is independent, intelligent, beautiful, but still struggles with her self-esteem. I think most woman know their strengths, but it only takes one bad encounter to make us feel like we are less or unwanted. So while Tiffy has all these amazing qualities and is this insanely strong woman she still feels lacking because her business partner continues to ignore her advances.

Fletcher Novak is selling sexy. He knows what men want and he knows how to coach a woman to be every man’s fantasy. Working as a male stripper at a Colorado resort he is on last leg when Tiffy Preston shows up to fire him. He decides to save himself he will help her. While it completely out of character for Tiffy to ever be interested in what Fletcher is selling, she takes the bait when offered.

At first glance, Fletcher and Tiffy seem to be complete opposites. You immediately think of Fletch as a male stripper, womanizer and only interested in himself. Tiffy classy, a control freak, who prides herself on being independent. The sex appeal and chemistry is there and that’s all it takes for their relationship to blossom into more.

I actually loved the depth of heart and how we learned so much about these characters. I loved seeing their motives and learning I underestimated them. Neither are exactly what they seem and they have so much more in common. They are both afraid of not living up to their potential, of failing their families and they both desperately want real love.

Over the past few years I have come to expect the unexpected from JA Huss. I expect to be completely shocked by a twist or her characters actions. So I was even more shocked when I finished Sexy and realized it was just the perfect, sweet, sexy, fun, light hearted standalone. I feel like it was exactly what we needed after concluding the Company Series. This book is perfect when you are looking for a sexy, light read, and dare I say a standalone.

This book is fun, witty, a little angsty, cute and Sexy!!! All those words usually don't go in a review for JA Huss because she's a dark and twisty writer but this book was a great deviation from the norm.

Fletch Novak is a stripper, a really sexy and talented stripper working in a Lake Tahoe casino. He's gorgeous and every girl wants him. Tiffy Preston is the owner's daughter who comes to take over the hotel and get rid of Fletcher. But can she get rid of him once she actually meets him? There is more to Fletcher than meets the eye. But Tiffy needs some help and Fletcher seems to be the man that can help her. But can these two keep things professional or will their attraction for one another override their sexual chemistry?

 photo 01bec36c9e8d87d6a6f94a3019787dfd_zps6z9qbd4s.jpg

There were a couple of twist and turns in this book but nothing over the top. I loved that Fletcher was more than just a stripper. He had many layers and as the book progressed, the layers began to slowly unfurl. He was funny, confident, gorgeous and sexy down to his bones!! Tiffy was your normal pampered billionaire's daughter but she was not spoiled. She was beautiful, wanting to please and not at all confident in herself. So when these two collide, the story takes angst up a notch.

If you want an unconventional love story with a side of sexy………Sexy is the book for you.

Smart Stripper!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙❤️💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍🌏
Character development: 🥲😳😋😙

The heroine: Tiffy Preston - she is the daughter of the owner of the Landslide Hotel/Casino Resort in Lake Tahoe. Her father is ill so she has taken over all his duties and is in charge of a bunch of Hotels including the Landslide where she resides in one of the penthouses. She goes down to watch the show one night and is chosen by the main act.

The Hero: Fletcher Novack - He works as a stripper in a male mountain man strip show at the Hotel/Casino. He is the main attraction and he has a side hustle which includes advising women who are at a low point and building their self esteem again. teaching them how to be sexy. Then helping them get the man of their dreams and he charges a premium for his services.

The Story: Fletcher loves his job as a stripper and every night he chooses a ‘star’ from the crowd whom he dances around and uses in her show, including some pretty racy moves. Though it is all fake, he is quite a showman for the crowd. He chooses Tiffy when he sees her in the crowd, but she won’t go up on the stage so he chooses someone else.

Fletcher is doing what he has to in order to get by and when he wants to let off some steam, he chooses a girl during the last dance when all the dancers perform together. This night he chooses Tiffy, but she turns things around on him and then he turns them back on her. Tiffy has a crush on a coworker, named Cole who is a bit overweight, but she has been crushing on him for years.

Tiffy wants to fire Fletcher Novack, she thinks he is slutty and she knows he is up to something, possibly sleeping with hotel guests that he picks from the audience and there are rumors that he might be a pimp or some other shady character. She thinks he is most certainly hiding something.

The world building was terrific, you could see the stage, the dancers, the audience, the penthouse and more. Fletcher was a playboy and cocky but very likable and genuine. Tiffy was stiff and uptight but she was also wary and unsure. The book was romantic, steamy and compelling. I wanted to find out more about the characters and wanted them to realize how good they could be together.

The book was told in dual points of view using dual narration. It was narrated by Elena Wolfe and Sebastian York. These are two of my favorite narrators and always do a great job, as they did in this one. Elena Wolf has a clear, strong voices and was believable as the intelligent businesswoman that Tiffy was. Sebastian York has a deep sexy voice that is perfect for Fletcher.

"Stripper. Player. Liar. Asshole. And they love it. So fuck this girl in my arms with her head resting on my chest like we are high-school lovers shuffling around on prom night. I don't give one shit about her. She's a job, just like all the rest of them here in this room. She's just another job to me."

JA Huss is one of those versatile authors that can write any genre from dark romance, suspense, sciene fiction, contemporary, and etc. She is an amazing writer and storyteller who allows her readers to feel and get lost with every book. And in her newest release, Sexy, JA makes sexy fun and of course reminds us all that sexy is on the inside.

"I'm filling up with questions, but the only things I see in him are answers. Fletcher Novak is my answer to every mystery there is."

Sexy is a fun, light romantic read that will leave readers smiling and possibly making them run to their nearest male revue show. Fletcher Novack is an entertainer for the show Mountain Man for a hotel in Lake Tahoe and he sells sexy. Tiffy Preston is the boss's daughter. She is a successful businesswoman and is hired to help manage and run the hotel in Lake Tahoe. As for her love life, it has been nonexistent. Being sexy is something that she hasn't quite mastered yet... that is until she ask Fletcher to teach her how to be sexy.

"Tell me I'm sexy and you need me. And then I'll help you. Just let all that other stuff go. If you want the fantasy, then let me be your fantasy."

#SexyJa1

From the first meeting, Tiffy and Fletcher had instant sexual chemistry. There was no denying it there was an attraction but Tiffy couldn't stand Fletcher. He was arrogant, smug, and a player. But there was one thing she knew Fletcher had and that was confidence. And so she asked Fletcher to teach her how to be sexy so she can attract Cole, the man that she has been longing for. And so begins Tiffy's lesson plans on how to be Sexy.

"Jesus Christ. No wonder he can get anyone he wants. His words are magic. Everything to do with that mouth is magic. He's making me crazy."

#SexyJa2

"I am a matchmaker. I have a secret side business. Because sexy doesn't sell, Tiffy. It's for sale."

#SexyJa3

I adored Sexy. This book was fun, entertaining, sweet and of course sexy but what I actually loved about this book was the deep emotional connection of Tiffy and Fletcher. Though these two had the physical sexual chemistry down, the unexpected love was refreshing. So if you are looking for a light, fun, and entertaining read then I would definitely recommend Sexy.

4.5 SEXY STARS

If you are a JA Huss fan, then you may go into this book with certain expectations. I was ready for the darker, edgier side to sexy. She always has a sharp focus and tension to her works that keep me on edge. I was completely unprepared for her to give me that signature hot romance with a bit of sweet! By stepping of the box she delivered a well written love story that was fun and oh so entertaining!

SEXY is on the inside…well it is also very present on the outside of hip gyrating, panty dropping men who take the stage in a Tahoe Resort! This where Tiffy Preston, upcoming Hotel owner comes face to face with the most intriguing and infuriating male players ever…

 photo e51e5d38-a4be-4a3c-a6ca-9016acbb4422_zpsopqnek1d.jpg

Lust and attraction are given, as Fletcher’s sex on a stick demeanor is overwhelming but Tiffy’s aloof indifference makes her quite a challenge. Both have unique personal dynamics that lead to the genius of the tale. Tiffy has no clue as to her own appeal and lacks the experience to go after what she wants. Fletcher thrives on the response of other’s to his own. Coming face to well…crotch does not start this “relationship” on the right track. It only seems right that Fletcher use his sexy abilities on Tiffy with an offer of a lifetime as a means to maintaining his job!

 photo PhotoGrid_1441421424447_zpstmacw7bm.jpg

To be taught by a true master…one could only wish! This story moves seductively slow. It is like a tango of wills. A touch, a look, a caress then a fast hunger of lips and explosive passion. While exploring the rhythm of seduction, Fletcher and Tiffy learn more than what either was expecting or wanting…

 photo PhotoGrid_1441421853239_zpsj1gwznx7.jpg

Overall, I got a flirty and fun, an emotionally charged, a beyond sexy read that was so good. Fletcher was pretty damn awesome as he shined pretty on the outside but was so complex on the inside. Tiffy, however was not my cup of tea. I was not used to a Huss Heroine being so “uncertain.” She needed a come to mamma moment many times! Her bff, secondary cast-mate Claudio, well thank ya for him! If her moments of weakness allowed him to sound off of his wisdom and humor, then ok! Now I just need to get myself to a Mountain Men show!!!

Fletcher is a stripper at a hotel, and Tiffy is the owner's daughter/his boss. She comes to the hotel with the intention of firing him after getting complaints about him sleeping with the guests. They wind up having a one night stand instead. This is very out of character for Tiffy. She is a conservative good girl. Fletcher just has a way of making women melt at his feet. She decides that she could learn a lot from him, and asks him to teach her how to be sexy. She has been pining for a man she works with, Cole, for a long time, and hopes that Fletcher can help her catch his interest. He agrees, but finds himself falling for her instead.

This was just an okay read for me. It was easy to get through, and the sex scenes were steamy enough. The problems I had were with the characters.

I have always had trouble getting into a book when I don't care for the heroine. Unfortunately, that was the case here. Tiffy is judgemental, hypocritical, and immature throughout most of the book. There were times when her judgements and negative opinions of Fletcher made absolutely no sense whatsoever. One time, she asks him to sleep with a woman that Cole is interested in to keep Cole from forming a relationship with her . Later, when she THINKS he is doing just that, not only does she get mad at him, but she then judges him for doing it. I never saw the smart, sweet, incredible woman that Fletcher saw. I didn't understand why he was so drawn to her. Ultimately, this made it difficult to connect with her, or even like her much.

Fletcher wasn't perfect, but I actually really liked him for the most part. Smart, funny, confident, outgoing, and caring; he was more than just something nice to look at. The only problem I had with him was that he could be a bit hypocritical at times. For example, he wants her to see the real him, but he hid so much of himself from her that she couldn't.

I never felt a deep connection between Fletcher and Tiffy. When they actually get to know each other completely, the story is over. They had great sex, but you need more than that to form a real relationship.

Sexy was entertaining, but it fell short of what it could have been. If I had liked Tiffy, then I know I would have liked this a lot more. I have read and loved other books by this author, so I still plan to read more from her in the future.

JA Huss is an author we 1click without so much as blinking. This lady is a gifted storyteller who has shown outstanding versatility in her work and we’ve loved every story we’ve read of her so far….until now….
We knew Sexy was a departure for this author and we embraced that factor. We love nothing more than an author showing their versatility and so we settled in for a sexy, flirty and steamy romp and a storyline we hoped would have voraciously flipping the pages as is always the case with a JA Huss book.

Initially we were drawn into the story with a strip scene that was so brilliantly conveyed we thought we were there at that moment and eagerly diving in for more. But then….it started to become a bit of a chore. We didn't find that connection to the characters and the ‘slut shaming’ grated on us. For Fletcher to continually refer to the women he bedded as skanks, sluts and whores yet seeing himself as some sort of sex god when he can’t keep his dick in his pants….yeah, the double standards which normally don’t bother us to this degree, aggravated us in Sexy.

We also found it to be repetitive and whilst we wanted steamy, we found the nookie overtook the story, to the degree where…shock, horror…we found ourselves skimming them. At 62% we decided not to proceed and trust us…the realization we were about to DNF a JA Huss book surprised us and gutted us.

Now we were NOT expecting this to be similar to her other books at all, in fact one of the draws of this book was that it would be a departure from her previous stories but sadly this one just didn’t work for us.
We know a lot of readers loved this book so we urge you to see for yourself if Fletcher and Tiffy’s story will rock your world because no matter what…Fletcher Novak is one SEXY bastard!

I've read quite a few of JA Huss's books at this point and the one thing I'm learning is that you don't end up where you started. I love that about her books. I love starting a book and trying to guess where she's gonna take it and I'm almost always wrong. And I love that I'm wrong! Her books are not predictable and her characters are fantastically flawed.

Tiffy Preston’s father is unwell so she has pretty much taken over the running of his hotel. After being in the audience of the male strip show, she finds herself the target of one of the sexiest guys she has ever seen. Fletcher Novak has dreamy blue eyes, sex bed hair and abs that go on and on.

After spending a very memorable night with him she agrees to his help in luring in the guy she truly wants. He will coach her in the art of seduction and flirting with the end goal of snagging the guy of her dreams.

Can you see what is going to happen here? I did too but there is quite a lot more to Fletcher Novak than she realised.

This was my low angst audio read last week :) Really easy to listen to and great narrators.

Julie Huss is one of my top favorite authors, she is an automatic buy for me, and I have loved all of the book I've read. It may just be the mood I'm in, but this one was just ok for me. I had a hard time getting into the story, and didn't really find that connect with any of the characters that draws you deeper into the story. The epilogue was good, I wish it was longer...I'm always greedy for a little more HEA.

Hmmm... Umm... Hmmm...

3.5 ★

I suppose I will be starting this by kinda’ talking about the end, JA’s EOBS (End of Book Sh!t) that is. For JA fans like myself, her EOBS, her version of acknowledgment at the end, gets just as much fanfare. In her EOBS here, she did indicate that she intended this to be a fun book and not like her usual stories.

And I guess that’s what I got here. A lighter read with heat (oh yaah! teehee). There were no surprising turns a la Huss. No out-there characters, just 2 "regular" folks who somehow were attracted to each other albeit begrudgingly at first. Tiffy is the boss who’s trying to decide how to deal with Fletcher, one of the employees. Fletcher is one of the stripper dancers, but that’s just for starter, and that’s all Tiffy knows about him initially until she was told more.

I actually quite appreciated the story and I was ok with the flow of it. Once I got going, I actually couldn’t put it down; I just had to finish it. This is JA writing after all. The tricky part, for me, was the characters. I bought every ounce of Fletcher’s sexiness and hotness factor, for sure. But him being closed-off at times, I felt like that prevented me from completely falling for him until the very end. Tiffy is a heroine that I neither like nor dislike. She just was. I was ambivalent to her struggles. I didn’t really buy into any of her qualities. It felt like I was told more than shown how she is. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even see this “funny, intriguing and smart woman” that Fletcher saw. I was actually more vested in Claudio, Tiffy’s BFF.

In the end, I was a tad underwhelmed and while this will not be a favorite, a JA fan remains here.

Fletcher is a stripper with a side business. He sells sexy. He sells sexy to women who need a bit of help snagging the man of their dreams.

Tiffy is a straight-laced rich girl. She owns a hotel. She owns a hotel where Fletcher happens to perform.

Tiffy has a crush on Cole, but she’s in the friend zone.

Fletcher offers his assistance.

This is another 3 star book for me because I don’t know how to rate it.

Stuff I liked:

1.Fletcher was sexy as fuck. Really. The man has some serious moves, on and off stage. Add in a filthy mouth and killer abs and you’ve got me sold.

“He’s better than a linebacker. He’s like a combination of linebacker and tight- end… Fletcher Novak is a tightbacker. I’d like to get a look at his back end, that’s for sure.”

2.There was a lot of stuff going. OMG so many secrets. It was an action packed and fast paced read.

3.Fletcher.
“I want you to swallow me so fucking bad.”

4.There were funny moments, hot as fuck moments, WTF moments and teary moments.

5.And Fletcher.

Stuff I didn’t like:

1.Needless drama. The characters got their exercise by jumping to conclusions and pushing their luck and then were too tired to have actual conversations.

2.Tiffy was a judgmental cow. Fletcher was a hypocritical douche.

3.Slut-shaming. Jesus, the slut-shaming. From both MCs. Even Fletcher who had different woman every night and worked as stripper would refer to the audience as “fucking horny bitches”.

All in all this was a good, sexy and fast paced read with a hella hot H, but yeah, there were issues.

5 Hands down JA Huss, You Are The MotherFucking Bomb STARS!!!

What can I say about Sexy? I could tell you it's a standalone but still stands out! I could tell you it's a story about a Stripper and a princess. Fletch & Tiffy, I could tell you I love their story. I could tell you they made me smile. I could tell you tell you they made me laugh. I could tell you they made my heart hurt. I could tell you they were perfect inside and out & just didn't know it. I could tell you they misjudged & made mistakes and owned them. I could tell you that Fletch was Sexy (and I don't even like blonds) and sweet. I could tell you that Tiffy was my favorite heroine along WITH Bombshell! I could tell you all that because it's all true and then some.

But why should you care? You just wanna know if this book is worthy of your time. ABSOLUTELY! JA Huss's books are always worth your time. In this review I want to tell what she always brings to the table as an author. Julie is smart, funny, and her EOBS is always Epic. She makes you wanna be the hero/heroine & find their one and only who isn't perfect, just perfect for them. She connects you to her book in some superhuman kinda way. She says that’s the most important thing and she's right. So see for yourself.

***4 1/2 "I Saw You" Stars***

It took me three days to finish this book - which, with my schedule is typical, unless I'm turning pages so hard I don't sleep or eat. That was my experience with Meet Me In the Dark, and while I loved the Social Media series I love JA Huss when she gets twisty & dark. So I struggled a bit in the beginning with two seemingly vapid characters.

But because I trust this author, I pushed on & I'm glad I did. Tiffy & Fletcher do become much more relatable as time goes on. The layers of depth (twisty & light?) Huss is known for were there, as were really touching moments and (of course) blazing hot sex scenes. Some fun, OTT stuff, and Tiffy finally gets that stick out of her ass.

I love what she did with this book, and if you read the EOBS (which I always do, because I'm a huge fan) it gives more insight to the evolution of Sexy. I geek out over stuff like that, and I always appreciate the EOBS for that reason.

Overall, I found Sexy to be an enjoyable romp, and I'm glad I had the chance to read it.

Lmao, sometimes going in blind can totally mess with your mind. I am used to J.A. Huss’s books messing with my mind in all the right ways. So when this book was really getting into the story I was like ohhh its going to be a slow burn of twists and turns. I LOVED it!

Also I want a Fletcher of my very own…please?? I don’t know if it was how J.A. wrote him or Sebastian’s narration of him but he was one FINE character and I could listen to this book forever.

I felt for Tiffy a lot throughout this book, and being as this is a Huss book I was waiting for the secrets and plot twists and they come for sure. I think Tiffy was a perfect kind of character for Fletcher.

I am so happy I took the chance on this book, it’s been one I have been wanting to read for a while. It was fabulous both narrators do an outstanding job. I loved and I recommend!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I read many good reciews and praises about J.A.Huss. i never been picking her book until now. Sexy is my first read by Miss Huss.

The story itself is nothing original. The male stripper is a inspiration from Magic Mike movie. I wish the hero has a better name though. Fletcher is just too.... nerdy. While Tiffy is sounds like porn star. The name, I mean. Tiffy's character is annoying. She has too many self doubt about her, her management and her relationship. Until very end.

I can live with the male stripper romance story plot. I really can. This book is min angst and min drama. The sex is not that descriptive. What really bothers me is Tiffy. She is just.... off. I do not like her self doubting character.

This was my first book by J.A. Huss -- and believe me, Sexy was a good sale. A eye-grabbing book cover, two very likable characters with some twists and turns to each of their individual stories, a gay best friend who carried the fun to another level, and an all around refreshing and stand-out story made this one especially fun to read. There's some angst for sure -- and an abundance of hot chemistry and blazing sex -- with a well-balanced mix of fun and a great setting in beautiful Lake Tahoe where lessons on how to be sexy given by a tempting and hot male stripper didn't hurt a single bit.

I think I'll be reviewing this sexy beast tomorrow. In the meantime:

4.5 Fletcher-fucking-Novak stars.

I guess I can do this now.

Fletcher Novak is the show at the Landslide Hotel and Casino in Lake Tahoe. He brings in the crowd with his looks and swagger (that's a thing, right?) and he keeps them coming *coughs*--ahem--*coughs* back for more.

Tiffy Preston is the owner's daughter. She has called for a meeting with Fletcher, but he left them all waiting. Something about it being his day off or whatnot. Tiffy doesn't like to be stood up so she takes matters into her own hands and decides to attend The Mountain Men show. She sits front stage. She catches Fletcher's eye immediately. As strip shows go, he chooses Tiffy from the audience to give her a little one-on-one time. He does his dance, asks for her room number, and continues with the show.

Tiffy doesn't give out her room number though, instead her BFF, Claudio, gives Fletcher that information. Fletcher shows up, Tiffy opens the door, and she's almost a different person. She's a bit flirty, a bit less stuck-up, and Fletcher is thrown off his game. He asks her to...dinner?! Not what Tiffy was expecting. So, she invites him in.

It's an ambush. "Surprise, Mr. Novak, you missed our meeting and I want to fire you for propositioning our guests, and you're the sexiest man-beast I have ever laid my eyes on." Okay, so maybe she doesn't say all that, but she does want to fire him. Too bad she is the one who invited him inside and all he did was ask her to dinner.

And let the games begin. Seriously. These two have chemistry. Tiffy denies it because she wants her coworker, Cole. Fletcher denies it because he's a hit-it-and-quit-it guy. They enter into something like an agreement: he'll help her inner sexy out and she'll let him keep his job. She wants Cole, so what's a little lesson in sexy with the infamous Fletcher Novak?

Yeah, so, this book doesn't stop with the laughs. The dynamic is amusing, the sex scenes are hot, and the lap dances are great. Wanna learn to seduce your man or woman? Call Fletcher. Or just grab this book. It'll leave you questioning your inner sexy and it'll make you search for it until it surfaces.

This is my first JA Huss novel, but not my last. I can't wait to breach the world of Rook and Ronin. I'm also glad I was able to start with a fun, rom-com, sexy standalone.

I have to admit, this one took me a while to get through, and not because it was a long book. In fact,I wanted more Fletcher.

Let me start by saying it was, for the most part, an okay read for me. The story line had massive potential and I really liked Fletcher. He was sexy, hot and mysterious. In fact, I would have liked a deeper insight to his character - a better explanation of his estrange relationship with his brother and more of the reasons as to why he suddenly fell in love with Tiffy. It just wasn't there for me and I walked away from this read really not convinced they were in love.

I think the story escaped me because of Tiffy's character. She was arrogant, immature, flighty, too judgmental and often mean. I did not find anything lovable about her. Perhaps if was more time dedicated to their relationship as a 'couple' within the story, rather than just two horny people hooking up, I would have seen her in a different light. The read fell short when it came to exploring their love blossoming.
Regardless, there are some pretty steamy scenes courtesy of Fletcher's raw sex appeal. Dude was smokin' hot.

I loved it.
It was reallllly sexy and funny and moving ... a really fast-reading not-much-drama kind of romance.

The bit of drama that was in it - it all happened in the last 30% - all his and her secrets came out and everything was revealed - I think with another 100 pages and a bit of something 'more' this book would've been amazing!!!! But I loved it as it is!
You should try it ☺
Oh and I loved the location - Lake Tahoe - not Seattle or Vegas or some other famous book-place!
The cover..hm it looks a bit weirdish cowboy-pornish - but I don't have to love the cover to love the story.

Throw away your panties and get ready to get your sexy on. Jesus, just when you think JA Huss can’t write anything sexier, she does just that.

I have a serious lady boner for Fletcher. Like I want to rub my lady bits all over his body. Feel every part of his tongue just everywhere. He is that HOT!!!

We meet Fletcher Novack, stripper extraordinaire who is the king of all things sexy. He lives it, breathes it—he is the master. He’s part of the Mountain Man show making women squirm and combust.

Tiffy Preston is all class and sophistication. She catches Fletcher’s eye while in the audience of one of his shows, and he wants her. And what Fletcher wants, he gets. Too bad Tiffy is the daughter of the owner of the hotel where Fletcher performs.

They come into a business agreement—he gets to keep his job all while teaching Tiffy the art of being sexy.
“Because sexy doesn’t sell, Tiffy. It’s for sale.”

Let’s just say that things get extremely heated and I found myself craving a cold shower as the scenes were that HOT!!! Sexy is a wild ride with tons of heated moments. Fletcher and Tiffy have off the charts chemistry, making me insanely jealous over her. Can we switch places? Pretty please?!!!

JA Huss gives us a sexy, fun story—very different from what I’m used to reading from her. If you’re looking for na off the charts sizzling story, this one is for you!!!

SEXY by JA Huss is flat out SEXY! It’s fun, flirty, sexy and a lesson in what sexy is!

Fletcher Novak is a stripper in a Lake Tahoe male review show. Tiffy Preston’s father owns the hotel and she’s there to check out the show… Fletch and Tiffy hit it off immediately., but things aren’t always what they seem, now are they?

I fell in like, lust, love, want, need… all kinds of feels with Fletch from page one. He’s hot, hunky, smart and more than meets the eye. Tiffy seems to be a bit of a prude but it was obvious to me that she was missing something in her life—LOVE. The intensity and humor in how they interacted and their lust for each other just flew off the pages.

“I’m not a sex witch, Fletch.” ~ Tiffy

^ That was probably my favorite line in the whole book. I laughed so loud that even I jumped. I dropped my Kindle in my lap, promptly retrieved it and highlighted the line. Who says this? That is flat out funny! Go Tiffy! Tell him how it is!! If you want a SEXY, funny, lustworthy, drop-your-panties book with a hot, hunky, stripper with abs I want to lick… GET SEXY NOW!! ~ Heather, 5 stars

~~~
Oh Hot Damn, Fletcher Novak is sex on a stick.
I mean, he's a male stripper. So I guess that probably goes without saying. But it's more than the blue eyes, the unruly blonde hair, and the perfect abs. It's the dirty mouth. It's the sexy boundary pushing. It's the barely there vulnerability that makes you love him in spite of the fact that you're not really sure if you should. It's the whole goddamn package that kept me glued to my Kindle devouring this book like it was laced with crack.
WARNING: This book might actually be laced with crack.
Beyond sexy, there's enough that Ms. Huss didn't let her readers know about Fletcher Novak (if that's even his real name) to keep me hanging on to every word, completely compelled to find out what the real story was. WHO Fletcher was. And how all these puzzle pieces were going to fit together. It's not a mystery, per se, but there's a twisty, mystery element that was completely irresistible to me. I had to know who Fletcher was. I had to know how things were going to work out with Tiffy. There was absolutely no stepping away from my Kindle until everything fell into place (and, I'm not going to lie—I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS!).
I don't want to give too much away, so I'm not going to dig too much into the actual story—but just know that I LOVED this book. It was smokin' hot, sweet and utterly unputdownable. Fletcher is smart, confident, and scrappy. Tiffy is his equal in almost every way. Watching the two butt heads is like some kind of foreplay. When they finally get their shit figured out it's sweet and swoony and perfect. This was perhaps a little softer and less gritty than the usual fare by this author, but it was irresistible nonetheless! ~ Shelly, 5 stars
~~~

In this story, no one is exactly who they seem to be. Will you be able to see past the personas they choose to show you to truly get to know them?

Fletcher, male stripper, manwhore, and sexy beast. He also gives lessons to women on how to feel sexy, how to grow confidence and land the man of their dreams.

Ivy has just come to town to check out and manage the new hotel her father’s company has just acquired. She hears of Fletch and his manwhore ways, and is out to fire him.

I truly loved this story. There are real emotions shown and felt throughout the book. The puzzle pieces fall into place one at a time until the big picture is finally revealed, only it’s not the picture you thought it would be. There are some scenes that will melt your panties, some one-liners and banter that will make you giggle, and some scenes that may even break your heart, but every one of them it worth it.

So why did I only give it 4 stars if I loved it so much? There were parts of the story that just don’t add up to me. I was wanting more explanation on the match-making, and the business of selling sexy (the descriptions of the two, at least to me, are very different), because from the beginning I felt like there was something missing. ~ Devlynn, 4 stars

*4.5 Stars*

Having read a few (read: all) of Huss' books, I've come to expect a few things from her:

I'm always going to get a fresh story
I'm always going to get a tightly woven story with a strong plot, and compelling characters
Things are never going to be as they appear on the surface
I typically learn something about human nature

Sexy delivered on all points. It is definitely unlike anything I've read before. I was introduced to characters I quickly became invested in as well as a plot that kept me riveted. And as Huss started the revelations, I learned something about judging a book by it's cover, so to speak.

Fletcher Novak - yeah, I didn't much care for him upon first meeting him. I, like Tiffy, felt he was an arrogant player. But as I got to know him, I began to see how unfair it was to make those assumptions - even if he was the one perpetuating them. I came to see Fletcher had layers and underneath that sexy facade was something even sexier - but not without flaws.

Tiffy Preston could be perceived as a spoiled, rich princess - with a touch of condescension. After all, when we meet her, she's out to fire Fletcher based on preconceived notions and rumors. Getting to know her and her background explained so much about her thoughts and behavior. I got to see past her veneer to the real her and, like Fletcher, I liked what I saw.

Fletcher and Tiffy end up in a business arrangement of sorts, and more, because Tiffy wants to know how to be like Fletcher - confident and sexy - and Fletcher is certainly an expert in that field. In the end though, they both learn what it really means to be sexy.

My only wish would be to have had more time with Fletcher and Tiffy together - learning about one another - solidifying their feelings for one another. When they were together, they let the other see things they didn't show anyone else. But at the same time, they were both hiding so much. As it stands though, Sexy was fun, steamy, enlightening, and captivating...a story that will stick with me for quite awhile.
