Dyer’s later writings can come across as a bit ‘hippy-dippy, new age’. But on suspending my disbelief and actually trying some of these things, I found some strange and surprising things happened.
If this book was written by several other writers it wold be easy to discount, but given that Dyer comes from a sound, theoretical base as a practising psychologist and scholar, he is more difficult to discount. In fact, I give him more credit than I would most ‘new age’ writers.
But enough of the theory. At face value, the book works. I came away from reading this filled with hope and positivity. That alone makes this book worth recommending.
I started reading this at a fairly low point in my life (we all have them), and I finished on a high, looking for my next challenge with renewed optimism. That fact alone makes this book worth every dollar I spent on it and worth recommending to anyone with a mind open enough to receive the message inside.
