REVIEW:
KINDLE WORLDS NOVELLA-DARE TO LOVE SERIES:
WISH TO DARE BY TRACY SHARP
Tracy Sharp is a new author for me so I went into this story not knowing what to expect. I am also new to the kindle worlds format. I need not have worried. Ms. Sharp did a great job. Wish to Dare is a story about characters who are human and are learning to live with limitations and consequences within the game of life. I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from this author and series. (https://www.nightowlreviews.com/v5/Re...)
Wish to Dare is my first book by Tracy Sharp. I was pleasantly surprised by a great story and a well written book. I loved the characters of Dean and Leslie in Wish to Dare. Tracy has given us a book full of fun characters, drama, humor and steamy sex. I look forward to reading more from Tracy Sharp soon. Wish to Dare is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
Love Dean and Leslie when love hits you it's hard to turn away, and giving up something you've wanted for a long time just proves how much you love that person. Throw in a bonus of a child that you didn't know you had and you've got the makings of an amazing story.
Wish to Dare ish to Dare is a short novella that packs one big punch! When Dean wakes up from his 2 year long coma, he decides to change his life. From a womanizing party animal this football star decides to become a role model to others. The only snag he has is his poor decision making processes, what will happen when he meets Leslie, a football blogger. And what will Leslie, who is career orientated and recovering from heartbreak, make of Dean? This is the first I have read from Tracy Sharp, but if this is the kind of thing she writes, I’d love to see a full length novel soon. The characters are all well-developed, even within so few pages and the story line is well paced, keeping you wanting more. What more can be said, give this book a look, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. Enjoy NB I Reveived this book free for an honest review
This was a very entertaining book but it is a short story and happened over a couple (3 or 4) days time which made it unbelievable and I'm pretty gullible when it comes to books. The writing was good and the character had some depth to them. Over all this was a decent read for a short story.
***Spoiler alerts*** : OK, they meet for the first time and went out with friends, he got drunk went home, she went to hotel to him, he woke up had sex. Next day he stands her up for a date she goes home mad. Next day they meet up and decide to move in together. Just happened to fast for my taste but I understand needing to hurry it up. This is just what I didn't like about the story. If more time between things that happened I may have felt better. **End spoilers***
Just my honest opinions here and someone else may like that kind of thing.
Normally I prefer a longer book, however I enjoyed this 100 page novella. Our male lead, Dean Wilson has recently wakened from a 2 yr coma and is ready to change his life for the better. Leslie Benson is finally putting herself first and trying to build her journalistic career. Dean is a sweet soul who cannot drink or he turns into an idiot. Leslie needs a hot story to bag a job. Will she use Dean's issues to cement the job or will she realize it's not worth it.. Tho things progress very quickly, I feel that is due to the shortness of the book. I took that into consideration and didn't dock points because of it.
“I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review”.
Possibly the worst book I've read in a long time. This book made no sense to me and was very inconsistent. These two literally knew each other for 2 days and it was insta love. The storyline was just ridiculous and there isn't more I can say without telling the entire story. This book is making me want to take a break from this series. Ugh
Some how I missed this one from previous releases. I adore every single one of these stories. Thank you all for writing them and Thank you Carly Phillips for letting them into you world.
I was really enjoying the story. It was a cute addition to the Dare World. Troubled ex-footballer, Dean Wilson is in Florida to see Ian and Alex. Leslie is Madison's friend and journalist hoping to score the ultimate story from Dean. The story was going along nicely. Love was in the air. Trouble was being tossed their way. I had a feeling that love would conquer all, but it would take awhile. And then...
I don't know why the ending had to be rushed but it ruined the story for me. It became corny. It was no longer a believable story. A few more pages could have made all the difference.
