This book made me sooooo happy. Like, grinning like an insane person happy.

First, the story is about Elora still and she's awesome. She's a totally refreshing character in this series. She has all the best attributes of her parents, Ara and David. Her life is met with tragedy and instead of letting it eat at her and destroy her (like her mother would have) she was strong, hopeful, and really made everyone feel like anything was possible. Her relationship with Eric is just purely fun to read and Eric continues to be a wonderful addition to the story.

Ara and David have a major setback, but within it David learns how his actions led to the horrifying events of their past. He realizes he took people for granted and did not deserve the unconditional love he receives from Ara. He has to learn to be okay without her, he has to learn how to be human in more ways than one. His character really grows in this story and becomes a man you can actually love and want to be happy. It was just what I needed to finally feel like he could be the one deserving of love.

Lilith makes a triumphant return and I can't say anymore without spoilers about her.

And of course there's Jason. The guy I've been rooting for all of Dark Secrets and this series. When he's finally part of the story he's transformed back into the guy he was prior to his horrible ending in Dark Secrets. He's the guy you love and want to cheer for no matter how brooding he can sometimes be. He's still broken hearted about Ara, and the tragedy that strikes in this book compounds his pain. He nearly gives up completely. Then, in a really cool way he finally gets what he's wanted for so long. He gets love and happiness, he gets all that David had that should have been his. The author finally did this poor guy some justice.

Finally, there's the new relationship between Ara and David. I can't explain how that comes to be without spoiling the story, but just know, it's SO FREAKIN' CUTE. They get to start over, and they are both SOOOOO much more likeable after all the events that take place. And, did I mention it's ADORABLE?

This book really did my heart some good after all I've been through with this series thus far. Now on to the final book...

Wow . .. . Ok had to get that out of the way . . .this book was nothing less than what I expected from this author. I have loved her Dark Secrets series since I first picked it up and her continued story of Elora ' s discovery of their world did not disappoint. As usual this book struck a cord with all of my emotions. She really knows how to hit you where it counts. There were twists I didn't expect coming and conclusions to things I wanted to know after the end of the Dark Secrets series. I am really sad the journey is over but really happy about the ending. She always manages to keep it real. Everything doesn't magically get better in the end but a real ending is pulled from a magical world and to be honest that is rare. The impossible is achieved but there is always repercussions. I respect this author so much and find her writing to truly be wonderful.

O.M.G!!! AM Hudson is bloody brilliant! Bound 2 not only wraps up Elora's story, but it is a perfect ending for the Dark Secrets Series! Ara, David, Jason, Morgana, Drake, Eric, Elora... Everyone's story comes to an end! I have had questions at the end of every book, but not now! The writing flows brilliantly, the character growth is phenomenal, and the plot is magnificent!!! I can't wait to see what Mrs. Hudson has in store for us next!!!!

I received an ARC of Bound 2 in exchange for an honest review.

I still don't think my review is enough or that I can ever write something to give this book the justice it deserves, but this is my review.

So...for starters...
Wow...what a ride!
FROM BEGINNING TO END

I'm really not even sure how to put my feelings for this series into words. I feel like anything I say or put together will be complete CRAP, because this series deserves nothing but GOLD!

A.M. did a wonderful job tying up all loose ends, and giving everyone involved a happy ending. Believe me, there were so many u expected twists and turns, but man were they worth it.

I honestly feel like I know these characters on a personal level. Elora and Ric hold a special place in my heart, and they always will. Falcon. .what can you say about Falcon. He's simply perfect. OH, and Jason, I utterly adored him.
The whole time I was reading, I felt that I was right there with them practicing beside the lighthouse, in the manor, and in their bedrooms. The detail was uncanny. It was perfect. I am so sad that this series is over. I will just have to reread it again and again.

Bound 2 definitely deserves more than 5 stars, it's top 5 book for me! It's just so magical.

AM Hudson out does her self yet again! She brought a story that has put an impact in all our lives. I was frustrated at the beginning because I was so anxious for the love story to continue. The twist and turns only thickened as the plot pored out on the pages showing suspense, intrigue, lies, secrets, adventure and more. Elora left an old life to embark on a new one. Knowing this was the final installment left me sad but enjoyed how the book layer it out.

I laughed, cried, and yelled at times because this book gives you emotions that otherwise aren't pulled out in most books. The character manages to approach things with a positive outlook even though her experiences have this entire series touched my heart. AM Hudson has a way of bringing out a total different aspect of things and it's awesome. Her worlds are very fluent so much that it flows through your mind bleeding into your soul.

Elora is smart and witty and seems to catch on at a level way faster then her mother. She again becomes the badass in the story following the footsteps of her mother. Will she ever find her parents? Who can she trust in this new world? Will Ric come to her? Elora has made many changes and is stealing the hearts of most in the immoral world.

Ric is still his handsome self with a hint of something new, Elora. He leaves a New World to come to the Old in search for Elora. He brings many things that's precious to her and creates change. Is she ready for that? She is a Knight after all. This world has shown her many new things that are an adventure and wonders of a lifetime. She has also experienced something that no one ever wants to endure, loss.

Sometimes when you lose all you search for healing finding your purpose. The one thing I noticed that Elora was missing in the beginning was purpose. She spent countless times healing the heart of the dead but, once she decided to bleed into her music, she realized that she could heal the living as well. That to me is destiny because she felt complete.

Never have I read before were the author has expressed through her characters such depth and understanding. Elora experienced loss, but the depths of understanding was expressed through such magnitude that a person could totally relate on such a powerful level. It made an impact on me because having experience a huge loss in my life, I was able to relate and understand Elora's character. The author doesn't just express the sadness but explains it so you know they understand loss. At the same time knowing it's their but understanding things more clearly because of it. Elora examined everything through a microscope and pulled at the layers creating a deeper yet richer understanding. She approach things using a positive aspect to get through it. This outlook gave this book a light and refreshing outlook. I liked it. The authors allows you to understand this on such a level that I've never experienced before in reading. It's phenomenal.

Absolutely amazing conclusion to Bound and the Dark Secrets series both!
This book will take you through a roller coaster of emotions. It's so hard to find the words without giving away spoilers...
What happens to Ara and David? Devastating. But then it's kinda sorta okay again, though I can't imagine what either of them have had to go through.
For Elora, finding out about her parents, then finding out the worst, and then the betrayal and who it was? Oh, but that's made okay too, because the instigator gets exactly what's coming for them.
Elora's backbone shows through, standing up for what's right, making sure things are put right, even standing up to the formidable Vampirie and Lilith. She discovers her powers and develops them, then uses them to help make things right, not only for her parents and the others in the kingdom, but also for Jason, who so deserves the happiness he finally finds. And I never would have guessed it, but after other events, it totally makes sense.
I love the ending. Though things aren't exactly as I'd have liked them to be, they're as right as they can be.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book is the perfect ending to an amazing series. There are a lot of emotions swarming through my mind. I laughed, cried and rejoiced at random parts throughout the book. So much has happened to the royal family over the years from that first deceitful act.

Following Elora's destiny as she uncovers who she really is after discovering her parents are the King and Queen of a nation that she was hidden from. This is a place where anyone can betray you for the right price. If you can't trust family then who else can you trust.

I loved following Elora and the Queen's Private Council as many betrayals are unearthed that they never expected.

This series is a must read for anyone who loves unraveling mysteries while discovering what true love really means.

AM Hudson does it again!

Finding out that Bound 2 would be the final installment in this series was disappointing, but AM Hudson once again delivers a well rounded and entertaining storyline with character favorites from both Bound & her Dark Secrets series. Bound 2 will make you, laugh, cry, and just plain angry at times. In true AM Hudson fashion, she does a great job at delivering lots of plot twists. Nothing is as you would expect. Story lines can become predictable, especially when a book is a spin off from another series but this story was far from that. When an author sets their imagination free the story is always a joy to read, this book was just that.

Okay then

I know it is an emotional thing, and difficult, to write and end a series. There is disconnect due to the fact I speak American English. And I know the viewpoint of relationships is different country to country. That said, in general, the first to books were good. Interesting take. However, by the 3rd, inconsistencies began creeping in. I don't like contradictions. I kind of hate them. Like Lilli being spelled Lily in the first two and suddenly changing. By the end of this book I was so annoyed it wasn't even funny.. Author's license is one thing, but trampling on what you said in the last page on the next is just sad. REALLY. I think an author should go back and read with the wrote in the previous book just so they don't look so stupid. This blend of myth, neo-pagan, ancient Christianity, and other belief systems is just strange. I found the character of Elora was not believable in the way previous characters are. Rather than take the time to offer a solid foundation for her abilities, it was just written off as her royal antecedents, and covered by sex and Elora's free spirited lifestyle.

I really like the Elora storyline (even though half the time when summarizing I type "Ara" instead). What I like most though is the extension of the story but told by another party. Elora is very different from Ara and so she reacts differently or tackles things in ways Ara wouldn't. While reading the part I just finished she mentioned how she hadn't had much grief in her life, but she doesn't seem to mope around like her mother spent a lot of the first couple of books doing, and even other characters notice and mention this. I continue to like Elora more and more. Instead of arguing, as Ara was prone to do, Elora stops it using logic, even around an emotional situation with the guy she’s in love with. The maturity is nice to see in a character. Yes, really good book and spin-off series, and I certainly hope to see Elora more in the upcoming books.

I like what I learned in Bound 2, as expected, Elora was much better than Ara when deciding what she wants, and I love her determination as well as her personality. I'm also satisfied with the outcome in Jason's story, it was an epic conclusion, and I'm glad that everyone has a happy ending.

I was left with out words after reading bound 2. I laughed, cried. Got anxious, sad, heartbroken and felt joy. Am Hudson has a magical way with words that pull you in and make you feel as if you are one with the page's. I came across the very first book in dark secrets on amazon in a desperate attempt to escape reality. I have been hooked ever since. Waiting on pins and needles for the next one.

Bound 2 is incredible. Twists and turns, joy and heartbreak... But most of all LOVE. The type of love that is for eternity. These books are not your typical vampire romance. It is so much more. Elora and Eric are perfect together but even they have their troubles. Elora is a strong and confident version of her mother with a twist of scary from her father. The mixture of Ara and David in Elora makes a perfect combination. With her parents missing and a vengeful betraying person In their mists Elora has to fight to keep herself strong, not to lose sight of living life and fight for what's right. Feeling grief for the first time she finds comfort in Eric and together they can get through anything. Even when everything falls apart in their world.

I loved the book. I recommend it to everyone. I recommend every book am Hudson has written and shared her gift of writing to the world. I do have mixed feelings about the ending. I loved how it ended but I am also left with a sense of " this cannot be the end"! I have questions, I do feel as if there could have been so much more in the book. More story. I hope one day am Hudson surprises us with another knight/ del La rose story. She has me enthralled, captivated and reluctant to let go of the magic she shared in these stories.

I do not like to spoil anything for other readers so this next part may be a bit confusing to those that have not read it. I love aras and Davids back story... It was what made ara and David for me. Against all Odds, pain, suffering, betrayal... They have always had love for one another. They always found their way back and they always will. Aras... New predicament made me feel like it... All though it may be best for everyone... It took away from all the growth ara has done. It was sad. But it shows hope and true love never dies.I am so dang happy for a very major character to!! Gosh so many emotions I felt over this book! Lol. Love it. But I hope if there is another book... Everything rights itself. Everything comes back.

Amazing......

Wow I am truly amazed how well this entire series played out. Yes I have read from the very beginning starting with the first book that has me beyond hooked even though you don't have to start from the beginning but I highly recommend it and that would be Dark Secrets.

Not many people can say that they've read series that each book following has gotten better as it went forward, I know myself that it's rare to come across and this series was the exception because it honestly has gotten better and better! As I stated it's amazing not only that you got to see the growth of each character but you also felt that you are a part of it with each book you read further into. Angie has this great ability,a gift I would say that makes you feel each emotion that she wrote into each character to actually have you so strongly connected that you do really feel like it's a part of yourself in it. There are so many ups and downs and just when you think you have it all figured out, your pleasantly surprised to see that it's not predictable because you were way off and believe me I really thought I had it figured out so many times and I was so wrong and that is what I love most about the series, it is so unlike any other and the parts that keep you guessing are the best. I can't wait to see what the future brings us with your ability to hook us in Angie but I'll always have DSS to fall back on when I'm at a loss for a great series!
Thanks for never giving up on this when you went through your rough time and giving us fans of yours the finished story!
Ill never forget this one because it's the one that has brought me into reading and you never forget your first along with you being the first author I've ever had the privilege to talk to on Facebook, thanks Angie and best of luck to you in the future!

Wow that was emotional!!! **Full review to come**

Blurb ~ New world. New powers. Old enemies.

Elora enters the dark world of secrets from her parents’ past, and in the midst of discovering her new abilities and learning how to use them, she will be forced to fight battles she’s unprepared for in a war that supposedly ended twenty-two years ago.

Old enemies forge new friendships, leaving Elora lost and unsure who to trust, until a cocky vampire walks back into her life with a gift and a clue that will set the end of everything in motion.

The final chapter in the two-book Dark Secrets spin-off series, BOUND.

My Thoughts ~

The most anticipated book this year... We have walked a long road with these loved characters and with a heavy heart I tucked into the final instalment of the series, not wanting it to end yet needing answers. Will our favourite characters get their happy endings?

My emotions were all over the place reading this book, such twists and turns that I did not expect at all! Its kinda hard to write this review without giving too many details. All I can really say is that I had lots of "laugh out loud" moments and some that I sobbed through. A.M Hudson did not disappoint with this conclusion. However I do feel that parts of the story could have been explored a little more.. Hint hint.. Another book please! Hehe.

This book just proves, no matter the outcome, love always will shine through.

This book was an absolutely amazing way to end the Bound series, and additionally a way to sum up the Dark Secrets series as well. Many of us who had read Dark Secrets were left with unanswered questions or wonder why things ended as they did. Well l must admit I was a bit impatient for this book to come out and couldn't wait to start it. However I can tell you that with this book you will not be disappointed.

As usual there was plenty of adventure, lust, love, betrayal, sadness, and happiness, and of course closure for the ultimate addict of the series in all of us. I was so happy to see many of the characters from the original series return and also for Elora to learn who she really is and where she comes from. To watch her journey unfold from there was truly magical, and the author did a fantastic job as usual of keeping our interest peaked and making us fall even more in love with the characters than we ever thought possible. I can say personally that I will happily be re reading the series over again just knowing that the author has done all the characters justice.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review (without spoilers of course), but will still be purchasing a copy of my own paperback version soon. Thank you Angie for sharing this adventure with us.

OMG, This book had me overflowing with emotions. What can I say.... You would think that with Elora learning so much about herself and her family in such a short time she would have been overwhelmed and would have just shut down, but then again what else could I really expect from Amara and David's Kid. She grabbed life right by the horns from the very start and held on throughout everything. From finding out you and your Parents are Royalty and what they been through or shall I say fought through to stay together, all the way to having now to take care of your parents and being the hope that kept everyone and everything together.

This is definitely a must read, but I must say this, if you enjoy this book as much as I have, you must read from where this journey begins and that's the DSS!
Trust me you will Not be disappointed. Besides if you Start with Dark Secrets Series all your underlying questions will be Answered here in Bound 2.

And BTW don't cheat go along for the roller coaster ride. A.M Hudson will awaken almost every emotion possible. You will laugh, cry, and even want to fight some of the characters yourself if you could...lol.

I received an ARC of Bound 2 in exchange for an Honest Review! So Honestly, go get your copy Now and start the reading, I can guarantee that you'll love it!

I was given an ARC of BOUND 2 in exchange for an honest review.

As usual, with any book by AM Hudson, you can expect a wide range of emotions and lots of twists and turns that keep you guessing throughout the story. This book is no different. It’s packed with surprises and moments that leave you wondering ‘what just happened?’. It will break your heart and piece it right back together again.

The story continues with Elora heading to the states in search of her parents. We see a lot of the characters from The Dark Secrets Series that we’ve missed (and some that we definitely haven’t missed!). All loose ends are tied; all questions answered. Our favorite characters finally get to move forward with their lives at the end of this series-such as … just kidding. No spoilers! ;)

If you loved Dark Secrets, you’ll love Bound.
If you loved the first Bound book, you’ll love the second even more.
If you haven’t read them yet-stop what you’re doing and read them now!

Seriously. Go read them.

AM Hudson will keep you on the edge of your seat and bring you into a magical world full of mystery and epic love. A place where secrets are mind boggling and soulmates never die. Don’t wait to read this book (or this series!), you’ll regret it if you do!

Lately, when I read a book it goes into one of two categories: 1) Oh my god, I actually paid for this?, and 2) Same story, different characters. It is so hard to find a book that captivates you from the beginning, to the end…. a book that is unique, and keeps you guessing. For me, this is one of those books. The author has this ability to bring her world and characters right into your heart. Ms. Hudson had me cracking up, and crying….all on the same page! Her writing style is awesome! In Bound 2 you can count on something unexpected and fantastic to happen the whole way. I literally had to put the book down to a few times to get my cackling under control.

I know this series was written with the intent that you did not have to read A.M. Hudson’s Dark Secrets Series in order to read this one, but if I had not read the Dark Secrets Series, Bound 1& 2 would not have been as rewarding and moving. Knowing the characters and their history from the previous series definitely affected how much I enjoyed this book. I do have to say that I was devastated by what happened to Ara….maybe there will be a novella in the future?

I received a free ARC copy of this book, Bound 2, for my honest review.
First I'd like to say GREAT JOB to Angie, you never disappoint us with your writing!!!
This starts right off where Bound finished with Elora on her way to Loslilian. Yes she's disappointed that Ric didn't go with her even with him knowing that her parents, David and Ara, were missing but she continues on. She gets there and adventually Falcon wakes up, her by his side, and she hears what he says happened, and of course something isn't right.
I don't want to spoil anything so without saying much more, things take a turn for the worse with the info she's learning, all the while Elora has really come into her powers. Will they find out In time what happened to David and Ara? I guess u just have to read this to find out. :) Will Ric end up reuniting with Elora? I will tell you all YES, but again u have to read this EPIC book to find out what happens. I will say I wish the ending was a bit different but overall I'm happy with the way it ended for the most part. This is an absolutely great read and I promise you, you will not be disappointed at all. A. M. Hudson has outdone herself once again!!!!

Although A.M. Hudson's story-telling has always been top-notch, her writing just gets better and better with every story she produces. Bound 2 is the ninth book of hers that I've read. I know I've said in most of my previous reviews that the first two were frustrating to read due to unnecessary length and Ara's inability to make a decision as well as her immaturity. Since those books, with only a few exceptions, I have thoroughly enjoyed every second in the Dark Secrets series. However, once she got to the Bound series, Ms. Hudson has been phenomenal.

The main character is everything I could have wanted in a heroine. Elora is strong, smart, and knows who she is and where she is going. There's plenty of action and emotion. The story and dialogue flow well and at a steady pace. I loved that Bound 2 brings back all of the characters I loved from the Dark Secrets Series. While I have mentioned that there were scenes and conversations in a couple of past books that made the books unnecessarily long, I didn't want this book to end. I feel sure that I will re-read Bound and Bound 2 in the future.

Yet another amazing book by AM Hudson.
She has a unique way of reaching in and touching your heart. This, like all of her other books, made me laugh, cry, want to scream and cry some more.
I was expecting Bound 2 to be all about Elora & of course Eric. Instead of just being about them it answered A LOT of lingering questions from the DSS and did an amazing job of "tying up loose ends"

While I will not post any spoilers I highly recommend that you read The Dark Secret Series FIRST. You don't necessarily "HAVE TO", but I think that without having read them it may leave you with a lot of questions. This book brings back many of the main characters from the series that I'm not sure a person who hasn't read the previous series would really care about. You won't be"lost", but I don't believe you will get the same satisfaction from their stories without having the full back story.

Thank you Ms. Hudson...

For a story I will never forget, for a series that is my favorite out of the thousands of books I have read. I've already read the Dark Secrets series three times and Bound twice. The characters feel like family and I felt every emotion along side them. The twists and turns these books hit me with actually caught me by surprise for a change. Every time I reread this series I am shocked by the things I've missed in previous readings. Yes, I'll probably start reading the series again tomorrow, from the very first book.
Yes!! Read this series starting from Dark Secrets to Bound 2!! You'll experience every emotion available and meet some of the most complex characters you'll want to love.
I am grateful to Ms. Hudson for not letting sales numbers keep her from finishing this series.
Enjoy the series my fellow bookworms!

I wasn't ready for this world to end, but AM Hudson did a great job. I grew to like Elora very well. I even cried a little at the end.

I like that Angie was able to pull all the loose ends together. While I wasn't expecting the storyline to take us where it did (but then, can you ever expect that with AM Hudson :)?) but, it was a very good, satisfying end to a beloved series.

Thank You AM Hudson for allowing us into your world and making us fall in love with these characters.

I loved reading this book. I liked all the stories tied into one big one. A.M. Hudson has the ability to describe everything to a T. You can actually see the setting feel the happiness, grief, and excitement. She brings everything and everyone full circle. I loved how it all turned out. This book is definitely worth the money and time to read it!

I would recommend this whole series starting out with Elora's parents. For me, it makes the story even more real to have gone through their personal story with them from the start. She does a great job of explaining to the reader the background of her parents , but I recommend starting at the beginning with "Dark Secrets".
