Queen Esther and the Ring of Power: Prophetic Voice for the End Times

Rate this book
This is an in-depth look at practical and prophetic meanings in the book of Esther. Esther, representing the morning star, is part of a symbolic story of how the people of God triumph after an evil force (Haman) obtains the ring of power and sets a date to completely destroy the people of God. The Lord places the story of Esther in the Bible as a special prophecy regarding the end times we live in and the imminent destruction of evil. About the Author Russell Stendal, a former hostage of Colombian rebels, is a lifelong missionary to that same group in the jungles of Colombia. My Review:
Russell Stendal's writings are not for the faint of heart. He doesn't sugar coat his commentary, he will thoroughly research his findings and he will offer insight on it very well written and frankly easy to understand. Even though many times I may not agree with him, he does make his point relatable and easy to grasp which is always refreshing. Bottom line this is his opinions on a very well played story in the Bible of the beautiful Queen Esther.

The author goes into a deeper knowledge of the story of Esther and he compares his findings to the end times and how they are in fact connected. As many people that have studied the Bible very well know there are many stories in the old testament that do relate to end times prophecy. I'm not sure if these things are actually fact as it is the authors opinions but I will say that he gives a very well rounded argument and he has thoroughly backed it up with scripture.
