Discover the Lives of the Men that Forever Changed the Course of History !!
This Book Contains the Fundamental History, Early Influences, Life Changing Events, & Lasting Impact of Historical Figures such as Moses, Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Gandhi, St. and Many Others!

The 21st century stands witness to the achievements of some of the most influential men in the world. And yet, no matter how today’s movers and shakers stand in contemporary rankings, how can we compare them to the giants of the past, the men who took history in their bare hands and bent it to their will? Whether they strode upon the stages of military power or at the altars of religious belief, they have left their marks on civilization.

Destiny is both unpredictable and fickle. Jesus, Napoleon, Moses, Julius Cesar, Saint Paul, Alexander the Great, Gandhi & Muhammad were men whose lives changed the course of history. They would have been remarkable in any era in which they were born. But by living when they did, each defined the times in which they lived. Their actions transformed the imprint of their countries and the world.

The body of knowledge around this subject is so extensive that Dominique Atkinson has skillfully compressed thousands of books, scriptures and teachings of these historical figures into this easy to read book. Of each of these Great Men, you will learn who they were, where they came from, who influenced them, the fundamental turning points in their lives, and what where their lasting contributions to the world.

Here is a preview of what you will learn…
The similarities between Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great’s energy, drive and hard-edge intuition How Jesus and Alexander lived approximately the same number of years, the former winning souls from death on a cross, the latte gaining land at the point of a spear. How St. Paul and Constantine, separated by several centuries, both altered their landscapes in service to the same God. How Moses and Gandhi, in vastly different ways, brought the power of law, justice and faith to the fore as they liberated their people How Muhammad was tutored by an angel and instructed by the holy, but he never lost sight of his own humble human status

My name is Dominique Atkinson. For as long as I can remember, I've always loved the act of creation, a love that eventually led me to graduate from college with a Bachelor's degree in fine art. Now, I teach art for a living, both to school children and interested adults. My friends call me a "free spirit" because I have so many passions! I've always felt a mystical connection between my artwork, my teachings, and my soul. This feeling has inspired my study of world religions and history.

I've read and admired the works of masters in many traditions, belief systems, and time periods. Learning from their words, I work to create books that will promote complete, holistic wellness in your body, mind, and soul. Whether I'm helping people find inner peace through the practices of Buddhism, the awareness-building power and fitness benefits of Yoga, or the soothing and healing power of essential oils, writing allows me to connect with people around the world and share my transcendent experiences and spiritual journeys. My goal is to help people to heal themselves and discover a deep passion for life--just as I have--by encouraging them to seek out new spiritual, creative, and healing experiences.

I aspire to create instructional books are fun, simple-to-follow, and provide a wealth of knowledge. My books and lessons have helped many of my students discover their own latent talents, and I hope you will enjoy the process of developing your own creative flair and "artist's eye" as much as I have!

I enjoyed this!

For a non American and someone who's only read about George Washington, this was actually a concise, quick introduction to the other seven men highlighted here. I like that it's broken up into sections and tells you why these men were important. Also, I like reading about how they got started. Needless to say, after this, I need to hunt down a more in depth write up about each of these men!

Informative and provided some interesting information. There were SEVERAL grammatical errors and typos that really frustrated me. One or two in a book is one thing but the amount of errors became distracting to me. The editor of this book should be ashamed of the terrible job they did catching these things!

Quick synopsis of the men who changed the world over the last 2000 years!

Would have preferred to see women built into this narrative, but otherwise, quick and dirty read about the several historical icons

The book was a very good read. The only reason I did not give it a 5, was because the book included the start of another book that was not of interest to me.

History Ligbt, oh so very light and trite

Reads like a term paper. Lacks scholarship, insight, annotation, historical context, depth, and leans to inaccuracy, over statement, and unimportant details of questionable relevance. The author definitely uses contemporary standards to judge the past which is, as L. P. Huntley says, a foreign country where they do things very differently. Perhaps this could be of value in a middle school classroom as even the framework is of the forced style too often used at that level to develop writing, but it would be better to challenge that age group with better than this.
One wonders if the author has ever read any well written and insightful history by any significant historian or biographer, or if all this book's research comes from textbooks, movies, stories, and musicals. This book shows no evidence of serious, much less painstaking research. It is sad to think it was found to be of enough value to have two editions. Is this the Millennial generation's idea of historical writing worth reading?

An utter waste of time. Author needs an editor and a course in the English language. This tome would not suffice as a Cliff Notes save for Elementary Grade Students.

A gift from the wife, I returned it to Amazon for a refund. Suggest that, if American History is your interest, you spend your time with Kearns Goodwin or David McCullough and similarly established writers who exhibit a depth of research and creative writing skills worthy of their subjects.

This book could have been authored by an algorithm - with fewer grammatical errors and equal if not superior sentence structure.

Okay

This book is Okay although it has a mostly underlying level of religion. I think there where other men who should have been included instead of religious figures. Especially Moses considering there is no historical evidence he ever existed as well as no evidence that the Israelites were ever slaves in Egypt.

This is a History book written by an author who has a degree in Fine Arts. (It says this in her bio.) It is an acceptable primer for someone who is an adult but has no knowledge of American History. Apparently neither Thomas Jefferson or John Adams were 'history changing' enough for the author

Really nothing new for me.. also book ends at 80% on Kindle.

Good for general information

This is good book to read to just get the basic information of each individual's background which encourages me to read more about them. There is no other book more accurate and truthful than the Bible if you need to know Jesus and Moses.

Men who changed the course of American History

I enjoyed this book because it broke down the facts about each individual. Short but concise I learned a lot about these amazing men who actually changed the course of history.

A Very Brief Blography

It is OK for one who is not familiar with history. But it is not recommended for those who have studied or lived through the last seventy years.

Fantasy, literature, imaginary friends, all sold as history. How about all the ones between the chosen ones? What made these better than others?
