This is an entertaining series. Parts were quite cheesy and I rolled my eyes more than once but for the most part I was engaged with this story and will continue to see where things go with Brady, Carly and the rest of the gang.

This book was again like the first book in the series just OK, the story was a lot more in depth storyline but it still falls short in a few areas.

Again there are a lot of main characters and in this book while each of them still have their individual storylines going on there is a noticeable split starting between the groups of characters. Two of the girls have been kidnapped by an apposing clan, they break out but the clan gets what they want and one of the girls goes over to the clan willingly.

Again, because there are so many main characters there are no main characters.

The storyline as a bit more in depth and gets a lot more into the development of the characters but there is still very little pacing. And the dialogue is still not good.

More development between Carly and Brady but not much between Keith and sierra.
So far really enjoying the relationship between Carly and Brandy it's almost like insta-love and everything is moving very quickly. They are bonking like wild animals but so far it's hot and steamy and not annoying more isn't happening in story. I am liking that more is being developed in story then just bear shifters finding their life mates especially at the end of the book. Looking forward to more happening between Keith and seirra.

Dreams Do Come True....

Carly has met the man in her dreams and to say she can't keep her hands off him is an understatement, Brady is so sexy. Things happen at the wedding that no one could have seen and it sends the couple on a quest for the truth.
This book has a great story line and wonderful characters for any reader to enjoy. The author gave the characters very good interaction with each other.
This book is for any paranormal romance book reader. It is best to read part 1 first since part 2 starts where 1 leaves off.

You don't often find shot stories to have such great plots as this book. Usually there's not enough time to fit it all in, in a short read but somehow they made it work. I thought it was well written and you got a good feel for the characters in such a short time frame. I also thought book two was much better than the first. Although the first book was good and it layed the ground work it really picks up in books two.

I love them! I am a little pressed for time. I can just say that, I have already ordered as many as I can get on paperback & when the rest of them are available I will get them. I love the mysterious adventure that keeps you glued to the pages. I am already in the middle of the next one trying to find out what will happen next! There is always the dash of hot & spicy woven into the swirls of mystery & that right amount of adventure that has made me unable to put it down!

Awesome series. Book II is really heating up with the main story being about Sienna and Ashton, both of whom are dealing with past demons. Other characters' stories from Book I also figure prominently. This series is above 5 stars.

So much potential, but the story is poorly executed. It doesn’t flow well and Carly’s emotions jump to extremes so fast. She says really idiotic things that make you cringe, for example:

I'm guessing that's kind of a faux pas." I giggle. "Oh dear, now I'm speaking French."

I received this audio for an honest review. After listening to book one I knew I was in for a real treat. V. Vaughn did such an amazing job writing this story. When a book is written well it can almost be like poetry. The story its self pulls you in. Then to add to an amazing story you have Erin DeWard which was awesome. She truly is an amazing narrator. A narrator can either make of break an audio. I have to say Erin well helped make this audio fully enjoyable. She had so much emotion and feeling in each line that she read. Great job.

This story is truly and amazing story. and is not a standalone. So if you have not read or listen to book one please go do so now. Carly and Sierra have already met their true mates Brady and Keith. Now this book is getting to know their mates a little better. You will find that you will laugh, cry, and witness some hot and steamy sex.

Carly must decide if she is willing to stay. Will her and Sierra want to even mate with Brady and Keith after they find out they were brought there to mate? How will the girls except that the men they have met are werebears?

Things seem to get challenging for Carly and Sierra. There is even danger on the horizon. Can the guys keep them safe?

Wow! Totally amazing addition to the Called By The Besr serial!!!!!

This starts exactly where the first ends and is even better, if that's even possible, than the first!!!!!

Carly and Sierra meet their 'mates' and have to come to terms with some pretty weird stuff...

The girls determine they can come to terms with what their men are asking of them and ultimately Carly and Brady decide to tie the knot...things get pretty interesting at the wedding reception that makes the girls even closer!

Full of romance and a few hot and steamy scenes, you're going to fall in love with Violet Vaughn's writing all over again!!! Definitely recommend this to everyone!!! I can't wait for the next installment!!!

Part two of this fascinating bear shifting series grabs your attention, just like the first!
Carly and Brady move in together, as do Keith and Sierra. Both couples are totally into each other! Carly and Sierra meet Brady's mother, Donna who is a refreshing delight. Donna and Annie (Brady's sister), take charge of planning Brady and Carly's wedding. There are quite a few surprises in this book, not all are pleasant. Can't stop turning pages to learn what happens next!
Theis series continues to be spell binding, the characters more enchanting and the action compelling! The writing is "calling" me, impatiently to part three!

This is the second installment in the Called by the Bear series and it was a fantastic ride all the way till the end! In this installment you continue to see the Carly and Sierra in their journey to find their dream men and once they do be ready for the sauna! I really enjoyed this installment and the only things I can say are I still am not crazy about serials where the same characters are continued BUT here's where Vaughn shows her talent, because I'm hooked and i'm all in on this ride! If you want a short read that will draw you in and leave you begging for more then this is for you! Remember this is a series and needs to read in order.

After reading part 1 I wasn't impressed and I was bored. I agreed to read part 2 to see if things improve. Not really. There are so many things going on at the same time. Many characters lives are intertwined. It can be a little much for the reader. I've read a lot of series' like this and its more of the same. It is a bit different but like I said its not pulling me and I think I have given it a fair shot. Just doesn't impress me enough to go on. Sorry. Not giving up on V. Vaughn because there is another of her work I've read and liked so I'll keep watching for her. I see a lot of people like this and thats cool. Just doesnt hold my attention.

Picks up were the last book left off. One look told Carly that this man was the one she dreamed of was Brady and he was better in real life and Brady was sure that Carly was his true mate and wild about her. Sierra felt the same way about Keith the trip across country was worth it. The next day the girl found out about the werebear part and lol yea didn't turn out as planed (evil grin) not telling lol. Things move really quick after that . What a wild tale too, delightful, crazy, drama and the evil head of another clan strikes. This is a fantastic werebear soap opera!
I love it and got to get book 3!

Now, this book is jam packed full of interesting twists and turns. It is part two of many books so you will have to buy all the other additions to read the full story. It does have a cliff hanger that will make you want the rest of the story!

It will have you feeling the same thing as the young ladies.. it is hot steamy and extremely exciting as you read the full story. But to do that you must purchase the other books. This story takes you from a tattoo parlor to the woods .. and you will not want to put this story down till you finish it!

In part 2 Brady & Carly and Keith & Sierra get better acquainted and their love for one another grow. The girl's get introduce to Brady's mom Donna. Who is a women that says what is on her mind. Which can be a good thing and embarrassing thing for Carly. Annie (Brady's sister) and Donna are planning Brady & Carly's wedding. Their are some good & bad surprises in this part. Just like the first part once you start reading you won't want to stop till the end. I can't wait to read part 3 in this series after reading the cliffhanger in this book.

This is a review for books #1-#8, I thought this would be easier then doing a review on each individually because once I started reading I couldn't stop.

I love this series! The characters are awesome and it's kind of a twist on the typical werebear story. There is love, mystery, disappointment, intrigue - everything that I want in a story. Each book is a pretty fast read and once I started reading I had to keep jumping right into the next book. I am going to go crazy waiting for book #9! If you love werebear stories this is a wonderful series.

Part 2 of the this Called by the Bear, Werebear Shifter romance series

Carly and Sierra made it to Maine - and found their Werebear mates. But life isn't always predictable or easy, and one of the rival clan leaders has made life intensely miserable for Sierra.

There are short novellas and one leads straight into the other...so, though I wish it were one big book, this makes reviewing much harder. I won't say much for fear of ruining the plot...so how you pick these up and read them, too?? If you like shifter stories, anyway.

Received the ARC from the author for an honest review. In Called by the Bear book 2 Carly knows she's made the right decision to leave her old life. She's found the man if your recurring dreams. Brady is more than what she expect. He isn't only gorgeous hot, but he also turns into a Bear!! That doesn't seem to bother Carly as she's found her true mate and turning into a bear isn't so bad. Can't wait to see what Carly and Brady get into.

Brady & Carly, Keith & Sierra are really starting to heat up in part 2. Carly and Sierra meet Brady's mom and I am excited to read more about her throughout part 3. This has several ups and downs and not all good. You won't want to put this book down so when you open it plan on finishing it. Can't wait for part 3.

i loved this shifter series. When it starts off with seeing your mate in a dream and oh no can't say more dont want to give the story away. this is one of the reasons I love bear shifters. this book is so good better than book one and can't wait for book three. Perfect book to read while waiting for my newest grand daughter to arrive.

Very slow going

This book was very slow going. In factor put there'll down several times to play apps on my kindle. After finishing the book of find it not to be too big as just tedious
