Lily - Marion and Carly take mean girl to a whole new level. Did they really think I’d fall for their attempt at discrediting Victor with vicious lies? And the fact Sierra might be harboring the Veilleux heir has only made me more determined to stand by my man.
Taylor - Being called to Maine was just the beginning of major life changes for me. The need to have children was never a driving force in my life, until now. I’m being pulled by forces I can’t control to start a family, and there’s nothing I want more.
V. Vaughn is also known as Violet Vaughn and is a USA Today Bestselling author. Violet lives on an island in Maine and spends almost every day walking through the woods. She may have seen a bear once or twice....
One full year later the Le Roux clan is happy an mated to 3 of the women given the sign one to the rival alpha bear clan .
Sierra has her babies before Thanksgiving the Le Roux clan has six new babies to enjoy for the holidays .Victor is telling Lily lies to strengthen his ties with his wife she hears the truth about her husband but she denies it unwilling to listen to the truth .18+
Overall rating: 5 Another prima emerges and the storyline shifts to intrigue me even more. The relationships between mates and potential mates keep these pages flying by. Love how this author manages to make the reader emotionally invested in these characters. Powerful old magic starts to take the forefront. Looking for the next book is inevitable. This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.
Series is excellent - loved how this one ended! It's a "what in the world?" kind of ending. As good as this book is please start at the beginning of the series, otherwise nothing would make sense.
Things are getting weird. Taylor is getting visions or nightmares from a shaman from the Victors clan. They just celebrate thanksgiving. Lily learns about the babies. What will hapoen next?
When you get into the story of the Werebears you're going to find out that the more you read it the story just kinda grabs you. If you haven't already read the first one don't miss out.
I received this audio for an honest review. The story just gets better and better. V. Vaughn has done such an amazing job writing the story and Erin DeWard is just freaking awesome. Once again I would like to remind you this is not a standalone and please read previous books in this series or you will be lost.
Carly gets to met not only her sister but her brother. Her sister seems to have a huge chip on her shoulder but her brother is good at putting up a front and making Carly feel like he is happy to see here. But we already know by the previous stories that he is not. I believe evil hangs with evil and he does hang with Victor.
Lily hears the truth at a prima meeting about her husband Victor. Marion lays it out for her and pulls no punches. Problem with Lily is she is so blinded with her husband that she refuses to see the truth. I have to wonder if some of Victor’s evil thoughts and ways are not seeping into Lily’s core. She is having some pretty evil thoughts going on concerning Sierra’s babies.
Sierra has her babies in this story. The happiness that Ashton and Sierra feel is so long over due. They have faced so many bad things in their life. It has seem that when it rains it pours for these two. You have to hope that these good times stay that way for these two, but you also know that as long as Victor is allowed to breathe that is not happening.
Carly and Sierra both see some happy times in this story. They get a Thanksgiving dinner that neither are use two. It is amazing that these two get to celebrate this time together since they have been each other’s family for so long.
Taylor has something serious wrong with her. They have to figure out what is going on with her before it is two late. This has to be hard on Keith to see his wife go thru with whatever she is going thru. Yeah it comes out in the story but you have to read this book to find out. Sorry that is all you are getting out on me.
My heart breaks for Annie. Her true mate had died and now here she is having a good time with Ian but not wanting to get to close. Thought Ian longs to move their relationship forward Annie is worried about his true mate showing up and her heart breaking all over again.
Donna is so excited to have so many babies around and Annie is happy as well. At the moment there seems to be so much joy going on in this clan but how long with that last?
As soon as I received this book I started to read it and didn't stop until it ended!!! Why oh why did it have to end? We jump right in form the ending of part 6 and it keeps getting better and better. This story makes you go through so many emotional changes that you feel as if you are on a roller coaster. Lily finds out some hard truths but since she is so love with Victor that she doesn't want to believe the truth even when it is thrown in her face. Sometimes you can't fix stupid and I'm starting not to feel sorry for her, because she refuses to think for herself. Taylor on the other hand is having a hard time but she is so worried about being pregnant that she is willing to kill herself. What part of stop doing what you were doing don't you understand. I can't wait for part 8 to see what will happen. Will Sierra be able to keep her children and what will happen between Carly and her siblings, also what will happen to Lily and Taylor.? There are many questions left unanswered and I can't wait to find out the answers...
I received a copy of this book for a honest review...
WOW! Where do I start! In fashion of the previous installments of this serial you are in for a wild ride! All of your favorite characters are here and everything is up in the air! Carly and her mom try to help Lilly, but do you think it works? Sierra is ready to have her little cuties and Ashton is there every step of the way.... And of course there is Victor......well let me say, just when you think he can't be more manipulative....SUPRISE!! Taylor finds herself sick and you will. not. believe. the. cliffhanger!!!! Vaughn has outdone herself on this installment! I sat down to read it and found myself devouring it with lightening speed! This installment leaves you with your jaw dropping to the floor! This is a serial so if you have not read the previous parts you need to catch up. But you will be glad you did. This serial has me hooked (and I do not typically like serials so I am completely impressed!)! You do not want to miss this adventure!
Carly's mom and family host a dinner to celebrate tha alliance between the Le Roux and Robichaux clans. Carly and Brady receive a warm welcome from Luke, Carly's stepbrother. Lucy, Carly's stepsister, gives them the cold shoulder. But, which sibling offers the biggest threat to Carly and her clan? Marion, Carly's mom, Carly and Lily attend a Prima meeting. The discussion begins with Vincent's attack, at the wedding and abduction of two Le Roux women; who's now pregnant with Vincent's children. Vincent's already lied, to Lily, about how evil the Le Roux clan is; she runs home, to hear him sprout more lies. How will he explain his actions? Taylor's been sick, hiding it from the others. Now, she's so sick she can't hide it. What's wrong with her? Can't help getting involved with these fascinating characters and the intriguing story! Received book free for honest review.
I was given a complimentary copy by author Violet Vaughn for an honest review. This is part 7 of series by the author.
Carly Le Roux suspects that Victor is up to something as things start to go arise. Taylor is dealing with the effects of some fertility tea and not in a good way. But pinning things on Victor is going to be hard unless some concrete evidence shows up.
This book has a great story line and wonderful characters for any reader to enjoy. This story has action, magic, werewolves and romance all rolled into 1.
This book is for any paranormal book reader. This is novella 7 so it is best to read the stories in order.
This is a review for books #1-#8, I thought this would be easier then doing a review on each individually because once I started reading I couldn't stop.
I love this series! The characters are awesome and it's kind of a twist on the typical werebear story. There is love, mystery, disappointment, intrigue - everything that I want in a story. Each book is a pretty fast read and once I started reading I had to keep jumping right into the next book. I am going to go crazy waiting for book #9! If you love werebear stories this is a wonderful series.
Arc for honest review. While I love the called by the bear series this may not have been my favorite part. I'm excited about the new babies. I'm curious about the visions. I hate Victor and now lily not because she is his wife but she's dingy and clearly brainwashed by a scum bag. I hate that Lily thinks she should take the babies all for the clan when she has no clue how it is to be a mom....so like I said I didn't dislike the book I just think this book leads into a lot of other stories and I'll be interested to see what they are.
well holy cow, so much happens in this installment. Victor is a sick horrible man who deserves to be hung up by his toenails. There is so much going on it's hard to write without spoilers so I will say this Poor Taylor seems to be going thru the worst this time and I hope everything will be okay for her in part 8. I love all of the deception, intrigue and romance and can't wait to see what will happen next! I received an ARC for my honest review.
Great series. After each book I can't wait to dive into the next book. You don't often find shot stories to have such great plots, full of action and loads and romance all packed into a short story, but V. Vaughn not only makes it work, she makes it work out great and leaves you craving more. My only wish is that the books were longer because the stories are so great and well written. An excellent enjoyable mini read.
Holy cow is this series great!! But why or why is Lily so dang gullible and stupid!!?? I feel so badly for her and yet I want to slap her upside her lovesick head, lol. Carly and Brady are such good parents, and now Sierra and Kieth too, and hopefully all will work out for them Taylor needs help, and desperatly. Hopefully someone will figure out what is going on and help her.
Lily doesn't believe the other prima's that Victor kidnapped and impregnated Sierra. Now she wants the baby's that Sierra has no matter the cost. Will she get them? Taylor is determined to have babies no matter the cost of the nasty tea she has to drink even if it means poisons her body and almost kills her. Will she continue to drink or will she kill her self before she can get pregnant?
Oh boy, book 7 really has you in a tailspin. I wouldn't know where to stat without giving too much away. Lily needs to see Victor for what he really is. Poor Taylor thinks she's going crazy. Then there's Sierra and Ash with their triplets. Carly is suspicious of Victor. Can't wait for the next book to see what happens next.
Love it! Each part of the serial keeps getting better and better! I don't want to give too much away...Lily is totally buying into Victor's lies, Sierra is ready to have the babies and her relationship with Ashton is getting stronger and stronger!
You do need to read the previous parts to get the total understanding and build up of the story! An awesome read and I totally recommend it!!!
Wow that was quite an unexpected twist. Hopefully Taylor get the help she so desperately needs. I don't even know what to expect with the next book. Very exciting.
Kindle Unlimited book. Cliffhanger with books before and after this one. Babies everywhere - new alphas are being born but whose clans are getting new ones? Ends on a big cliffhanger.
Things are heating up! What in the world is going to happen with Victor and Sierra's babies? What is Lily going to do to help her man? Why is Taylor acting the way she is? The forces behind the scene are getting downright scary...
I'm enjoying this series! The characters are fun to read about, and watch them grow and develop. There are plenty of twists that keep the reader on their toes. I'm looking forward to the next installment.
