The influence of dark magic rears its ugly intent in this episode. The true merit of each character comes to the forefront. A page turning volume this definitely is. I am still in awe as to this authors ability to make each episode as flawless as possible. So many possible outcomes that I can’t wait to reach the conclusion, but at the same time....don’t want the end of these characters. This voluntary review is based against an advance copy.

This part concentrates on Taylor. We learn more about the clans. Lily learns the truth. Can they stop all tge bad stuff. Whats to happen next?

I received this for an honest review. WOW, story just keeps getting better and better. Not only is V. Vaughn doing and amazing job but Erin DeWard is an amazing narrator. Reminder this is not a standalone so please read other books in series before this one.
Things are getting so weird with Taylor. As you know in the last book she knocked her mate Keith out. You have to really feel sorry for Keith because he has truly been thru so much. Now here he is with his true mate acting crazy and deceiving him. You can’t help but be mad at Victor knowing that he is behind everything. Now Taylor is trying to convince Keith that she did not knock him out. You have to wonder how much Keith believes her.
Annie and Ian are facing heartbreak in this book, but Carly and Sierra are there to help cheer Annie up. OMG, put those 3 together and you can not help but laugh. Hello “love stick” “silk rod” falling over laughing here.
Sierra is worried about Victor getting his hands on her babies. What lengths will Victor go thru to see this happens. He is pure evil and in this book my hope springs up for Lily. It is like blinders are coming off and all with the help of Victor. Thank God!!!! I have to say I can not help to feel sorry for Sierra. the nightmare she is living and has already lived. She was not only mentally raped but physically as well. Thank god for Ashton. She draws so much strength from him.
Taylor is in more danger then she realizes. Can the clan come together and save her in time?

Yikes! Lily, Taylor, Donna, Annie...!!! Almost every couple lives are in turmoil. Lots of angst, deceit, lying, and secrets. Wow. New bears are coming to visit, Victor's planning a murder, Annie left Ian, etc. Wild hot sex, interesting twists, and deep thought-filled characters make these stories great. There is a lot going on. Lily is so misguided and out of her realm. Victor is up to no good, as usual, and boy does he know how to lie !! Sierra has her triplets who are in danger. Taylor is being internally haunted by the Indian Shaman. Taylor knocks out her husband and continues the fertility drink that nearly killed her. Now, she's disappeared and no one can find her. What's next? ENJOY !!!

I was given a complimentary copy by author Violet Vaughn for an honest review. This is part 8 of series by the author.
Lily is now having second thoughts about what her mate Victor has told her but when he suggest a way to get the triplets she needs to figure out a way to save the mother. Taylor is getting into some serious problems with her health and the others are worried about her.
I really did have a hard time putting this book down once I started it because it pulled me into the book with the story line and the great characters. The characters make you want to love some and hate some but all in all they bring out the best in this book.
This book is for mature paranormal book readers because of adult language and sexual content.

WOW! What a whirlwind installment! Taylor continues to take a questionable path, with a WHAT cliffhanger ending. Lilly is finally starting to question her situation. Ian, Annie, Sierra and Ash are struggling and trying to find the paths they are supposed to be on. Some new players are coming into the story to spice things up. Whew! So much turmoil and decisions being made! In true V. Vaughn style this is a fast paced race to the cliffhanger, and you will be hooked right up to the last word!

This is a review for books #1-#8, I thought this would be easier then doing a review on each individually because once I started reading I couldn't stop.
I love this series! The characters are awesome and it's kind of a twist on the typical werebear story. There is love, mystery, disappointment, intrigue - everything that I want in a story. Each book is a pretty fast read and once I started reading I had to keep jumping right into the next book. I am going to go crazy waiting for book #9! If you love werebear stories this is a wonderful series.

Part 8 was very interesting bits and pieces are starting to come together but what's up with Taylor? OMG the things I think she's doing! So Glad Lily seems to be seeing Victor in a different light. I'm intrigued with the new bears! Oh poor Annie and Ian they need a happily ever after.
Can't wait to see how Violet wrap this up in Part 9 and how she plans on continuing this great cast of characters in new story lines.

Victor is trying to be slick with his mate. Trying to cover up his tracks of kidnapping Sierra and impregnating her. Now he wants to kill her, he tells his wife. Lily now fears her own husband. Taylor is back to drinking the tea again to get pregnant and is having strange dreams of three children. Sierra fears for her life and her children already. What will happen then and how will she keep Victor away from them.

Great series, great characters and a very action filled plot. After each book I can't wait to dive into the next book. You don't often find shot stories to have such great plots, full of action and loads and romance all packed into a short story, but V. Vaughn not only makes it work, she makes it work out great and leaves you craving more. My only wish is that the books were longer because the stories are so great and well written. An excellent enjoyable mini read.

Action and intrigue continues to build! Lily's seeing Victor's true colors; Keith just can't catch a break with his women. Taylor's being bamboozled by some mystical force(s). Sierra's still unsure what will decided about her babies. And there are new players to be introduced!
Plenty of drama to entertain! Waiting to learn what happens next!

Received the book for an honest review. Called by the Bear Book Eight continues you amaze!! Once I picked up the book I couldn't put it down. Has Lily finally seen the real Victor?? What the heck is happening with Taylor? And who are these new werebears coming to visit the Le Roux clan? So many questions! Can't wait for the next book to find out.

This is an amazing book and series, and I cannot wait until we find out what happens with all the clans. Poor Lily has finally realized that Victor is evil, but is it too late to do anything to save Sierra and the babies? And what is up with Taylor?! Will she realize she is being manipulated by the evil medicine man before it is too late? A must read series!!

Egads!! Taylor is being manipulated by such evil...and Lily is becoming more and more aware of things that are rotten in her world. Sierra is terrified she'll lose her triplets. Carly is getting to know the family she never knew she had.
All this is leading to the final book - the 'showdown', as it were. I can't wait!

Awesome!!
Really a wonderful set the read, can never wait to read the next one. Vaughn has a fantastic way to write. Allows you to enter the story and become embroiled with the characters and the area they live.

Intense
From the 1st page I'm on the edge of my seat. This series better with every book. I love the way the story jumps from one character to the other keeping each story in the same time frame. Patiently waiting for the next book.

Book 8 of 9 in a great shifter series!
Kindle Unlimited - cliffhanger with books before this one and 1 left after this one. Taylor's story takes a big twist at the end of this one!! Almost done with this series and I hate to see it finish!!

Each installment of this series gets better and better! Some discovers the truth, someone is taking a questionable path and new characters are entering the mix. Things are definitely getting interesting! I can't wait to see how this all plays out!

I am so enthralled with this storyline...each one grips your imagination and you just have to keep reading to find out what happens next!!

Another good book
I like the story but this part seems to be more convoluted than the other parts. It seems like it just keeps getting more twisted to me. I do like the book though

Love this book but it is definitely leading up to something much bigger. lily is finally questioning Victor while the whole pack is concerned with protecting the babies.
