"Just gross motor functions!" said Terra. "And we're not even sure it's going to do that, which is why we need a test."
Kita can’t afford a flat on her own, and Terra and Gerana aren’t bad roommates. But there are disadvantages to living with a mad scientist and a mad entrepreneur. Like finding undead frogs in her shoes. Or when they want her help testing their latest product, and their latest product is a mind-control collar. Or when it turns out that Gerana has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about what she’d do to Kita with a mind-control collar. Or when it turns out that Kita really likes it . . .

Three women live together in a small apartment. Kita, Terra and Gerana. Kita is the POV character. Terra is a scientist type. Gerana . . . entrepreneur?
Terra builds stuff, Gerana thinks of ways to make money off that stuff, Kita tests the stuff. Somewhat reluctantly. One such device involves reanimating frogs, but lets move on from that to the "mind control collar" (Terra "its not mind control, it's more motor control"). So, Terra built this necklace that Gerana gets Kita to wear. Gives voice commands to Kita to test it. Things like "stand up", and "do jumping jacks", and "remove your clothing". You know, normal type of testing.
I'm not certain if Kita fancy's Gerana and would do whatever she asked (there's strong hints in the the story of that; plus even stronger hints that Gerana lusts after Kita), or if she is just a doormat. "Here, put this on." "But I want to read this book . . . okay, whatever, I'll put it on". So, basically, Kita is lead down the path to become to being a pet because she's a doormat, naturally submissive (not exactly the same thing), or lusts after Gerana.
Something of a FFF relationship develops, though isn't explored deeply (as in, how the Gerana & Terra think of each other; though there are enough hints of how Gerana feels towards Kita; how Terra feels towards Kita, and how Kita feels towards the two).
This is a shallow story.

This is a crazy hot read that mixes mad science with dubious relationship etiquette. Kita agrees to let her roommates (who let her board for free) test their mind control collar on her, and finds that she enjoys being under their thumbs (and tongues, and hands). I'm not generally into mind control stories, but I found myself enjoying it because of how much Kita was into it.

Some D/s, light bondage and a touch of mind control. This is the first of two at this time and my only complaint is the story is too short. Great story and hope to have the author re-visit the threesome in the future.

Creative and interesting
Most novels like this play with consent, make it a grey area, this one didn’t. Definitely illegal if done in real life, but I hot little fantasy. Light BDSM elements.
