Excellent short book on St. Joseph. Readable and with a 9 day consecration to him at the end. If I could recommend one introductory book on this saint especially suited to non-readers, neophytes or anyone in a hurry, it would be this one.

The author, Professor Miravalle, is an acknowledged Marian devotee which naturally extends to her earthly spouse. His complementary book to this one, Meet Your Mother, is about Our Lady. Also, discovered he also now has one on the angels.

4.5 stars only because it is an introductory book and there is SO much more about dear DEAR St. Joseph.

For many Catholics and frankly for many who profess to to follow Jesus Christ, Joseph seems to be this quiet appendage to Jesus and Mary. However, the secret to the Just Man is unpacked and given a fuller examination in this short and concise book. Loaded with theological and historical testimony as well as prayers of devotion to St. Joseph and an act of consecration to him as well, this book is a wonderful gem which serves to help the followers of Christ grow in deeper appreciation and devotion of this most Holy of men, second only to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Highly Recommended!
