Teresa Gabelman is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the 'Protectors Series.' When not writing about sexy alpha vampires and the women who drive them crazy, she can be found on a lake with a fishing pole/Kindle, at an MMA event, or spending a fun evening with family.
Being a full-time writer has allowed Teresa to connect more with readers, which she loves most about writing. If you find the time, she would love to hear from you!

Quick, sweet, contemporary read. Predictable. However, highly entertaining. Recommend this book if you love a cowboy with bucket loads of charm. Just sayin'.
Why is it that all the sweetest romances are so short?
Rodeo Romance was an adorable, short, sexy story of love and trust.
Jake McCabe, a former rodeo cowboy, now spends his days working on the family dude ranch. Jake is smitten as soon as he lays eyes on ranch guest, Trisha Summers. Unfortunately, he does not mess around with ranch guests. At least he never has before. Not surprisingly, Jake finds it difficult to keep his distance when it comes to Trisha. Especially after working alongside each other everyday.
Trisha is trying to enjoy her time on the ranch despite it not being the fancy resort her friend believed it was. It turns out a vacation at a working ranch, where you are actually working, is just what Trisha needed. She is trying to forget a past relationship with an abusive ex. Fortunately that becomes easy to do when all she can think about is a certain sexy cowboy.
Although Rodeo Romance is a very short, predictable read with low angst, Jake and Trish do have a couple of hurdles they need to get over in order to find their HEA. There is a sweet ending alongside an even sweeter grand gesture by Jake.
This is the second book I read by this author, both recently, and I look forward to reading more.
I downloaded this book after reading another book by this Author. I can not get enough of her stories. Very new fan of this Author and I will be working my way through every book she has ever written, oh yeah I am addicted.
This book has a great story about two best friends Trisha and Cindy. Deciding they need a holiday, Cindy books them on a ranch in Texas believing that relaxing watching hot cowboys all day would be a dream come true. Okay well the hot cowboys is true but the relaxation, not so much.
Trisha who has recently parted from her boyfriend, has decided she is completely off men but Cindy has other ideas. Honestly I had some very loud laugh out loud moments while reading. This was such a fun, loving story. Trisha is definitely the sensible one between these two friends.
When Cindy realises what she has paid for on this holiday the shock is pretty hard to take but Trisha just takes it in her stride and is actually looking forward to her brutal itinerary. Never in a million years did I expect to be reading this kind of story. It was a fresh idea and captured me completely.
The hot cowboys. YUMMY!! Like Trisha I was totally swooning over Jake. The McCabe family run this ranch all the brothers helping out. Yes brothers, plural, really hope we hear more about them, I love to hear Tim's story.
Safe to say I throughly enjoyed this book. I recommend it to all lovers of romance. Especially if you love a cowboy with bucket loads of charm.
Crazy, fast little vacation romance story. I thought the word sneered was overused.....
“Cindy, I don’t care how many cowboys you round up, but I have no interest in anything that has dangling parts.” “Even if that dangling part is huge and attached to someone who knows how to use it?” Cindy shook her head. “Doug really did a number on you and it’s time you got a new number.”
“I will not need anyone hunting me down something to eat, Mr. McCabe,” Cindy sneered. “I will, however, need to hunt someone down to pull that stick out of your as$.”
“Why did you get a restraining order against this guy?” Jake asked, his voice no longer friendly. “Did he hit you?” With that question, his voice became deadly. “Yeah, he did and—” Cindy started. “Cindy!” Trisha glared at her, and then looked at Jake and Hank who both looked pissed. “Only once. That’s when I left him. When he wouldn’t leave me alone, I filed the restraining order.” “What’s his name?” Jake asked. His eyes narrowed as his shoulders flexed. “Why?” Trisha looked confused. “As I’m kicking someone’s as$, I’d like to know the man’s name,” Jake sneered. “Makes it more personal.”
“I want to erase that sadness from your eyes.” His masculine voice soothed her soul. “I’m not sad,” she assured him, reaching up and cupping the hand holding her chin. His eyes narrowed slightly. “Okay, let me rephrase that.” He kissed her lips gently. “I am going to erase him from your memories.” Not knowing exactly how she felt about him knowing she was thinking of Doug at that moment, Trisha tried to pull away, but he wouldn’t let her. “It’s just…” “You don’t have to explain anything to me, Trisha.” Jake pulled her closer to him. “I don’t care about the SOB, but I will tell you if I ever meet up with him, he’s a dead man.”
“You are absolutely beautiful.” Jake looked down at her. “Never doubt that.”
Needing to flee a bad romance, Trisha Summers lets her friend plan a vacation. What neither knew was the McCabe Ranch was a working ranch. Having sworn off men, Trisha’s willing to try working what needs to be done… maybe she spoke too soon because Jake McCabe seems to be a very willing exception to her new rule.
This bare bones, bite-sized outing can be read in one sitting and the title tells it all. Rating: 3.5stars
I actually really enjoyed Rodeo Romance. Not only was it a tremendously fun read, it was also intriguing. Trisha’s friend Cindy was a hoot and a half. Their interaction made me laugh a lot. Absolutely loved the ending!! Such a romantic adventure just what a women needs!
Very good story, good character development, love the real life situations, this is the first book of hers I have read and will definitely look forward to reading more of her works.
I usually don't read Contemporary Romance, but I do read everything Teresa Gabelman writes and she did not disappoint me I was sucked into this fabulous story...Another 5 Star Read
Short read with some angst and romance in a cowboy or dude setting. Cindy I didn’t take to as a friend she sucked, but other characters were likeable enough.
Jake and Trisha. I love this author's vampire series, and was thrilled to try something new by her. Trisha's friend Cindi is treating her to a weekend away to get over her abusive ex-boyfriend. She chooses a dude ranch because she thinks cowboys are hot, not realizing that the guests are expected to work on the ranch. You know... to get that full 'ranching experience'. But Trisha actually likes the idea and convinces her to stay. There are actually two romances in the book. Cindi does find a cowboy who tickles her fancy too, but it remains a side story not stealing the stage from Jake and Trisha. But I must admit I was more intrigued with Cindi's story than Trisha's. It doesn't really get interesting til near the end, but the ending is very romantic. Overall a cute fun stress-free read. And I do love hot cowboys! Kinda wish there were more written about New Mexico style cowboys. -phew- (fanning-self).
This was so completely different from what Teresa usually writes, I am so addicted to her Paranormal Protectors Series that I was a little apprehensive about reading this as it was a different genre but I needn't have worried it was totally Rockin!
The chemistry between the two main characters Jake and Trisha was explosive, lots of HOT Smouldering Sexiness, plenty of humour, quite emotional too, but Jake....holy cow he is HOT, a really enjoyable and surprising read, who knew I'd be into a Cowboy Romance, and definitely one to read if you love Cowboys!
I read this in the Summer of Fire Box Set. Quick fun story to get into.Jake and his brothers run a working dude ranch. Trisha and her best friend Cindy, take a vacation to a dude ranch to get Trisha away from a crazy ex boyfriend. Cindy picked this place because of the sexy cowboys on the cover and let the laughs begin. This is a funny, well written story that i fully enjoyed. I would have loved for this to be a longer story.
Very cute story. Sweet and funny quick read. It was perfect for a Friday night. By the end of chapter 5, I couldn't stop smiling at the banter between the characters. It was like watching a romantic comedy on TV. I highly recommend this story for a trip to the beach, traveling, or anytime you need a two hour book. I feel in love with Teresa Gabelman's writing with The Protectors series. I was not disappointed in this short story at all. Great read.
Trisha goes to a dude ranch to get away from her ex. Jake is one of the owners. They have sex. Another ranch hand tells her that they do this all the time, make bets to see who would end up with who, and she was nothing special. She gets upset and goes back home. Jake shows up and professes his love. I love her paranormal books!!! But this wasn't as good to me. A sexy cowboy, a best friend, and a woman who escaped an abusive relationship.
I loved this book, it was fun to read. And hopefully there will be more in this series. Gotta love those cowboys and their Texas twang, totally worth swooning over.
I really like this author. I've read everything that she's written. This is a good book. I would definitely recommend this book and author. Only complaint I have is that it was not long enough.
Every once in a while it's nice to get your hands on a book that is short enough to finish in one evening. The story line was predictable but wonderfully told with characters with lots of well.. character
