BBW Virgin + Sexy Alien Lord + Alien Abduction = Scorching Hot Alien Romance!
“Welcome To Rusneon.”
Looking back at the man upon the throne, Tessa couldn’t help but feel a surge of anger at him. “What did you do?!”
His lips pulled back, revealing perfect teeth. The blistering look in his expression made her insides squirm pleasantly. Tessa took in a sharp breath, pulling away from Serena as she continued to convulse on the ground.
“What are you doing to them?” She demanded.
“Well, well,” the man spoke and Tessa felt her body react. Shalea let out a soft keen, biting down hard on her lip.
“You seem to be the only one unaffected.”
“What is it that you want?” Tessa asked, finally breathing deep enough to meet the man’s golden gaze again. He moved, and it was so fast she almost stumbled back to escape. Instead, he was suddenly right in front of her and whatever pressure her body had been under before intensified tenfold.
She could feel the heat permeate from his skin and dig into hers. She swore she could feel every individual strand of the clothes on her body, the very indentations of the living stone beneath her shaking feet. Even worse, her body was craving, craving so hard to be touched that she was nearly clenching every muscle in her body to keep from falling.
Tessa gasped, throat closing as though had been caught between the precipice of the most pleasurable experience in her life and shock.
“You,” he said.

I was looking for a quick read and maybe discover a new author, so I picked this up on Kindle Unlimited and got what I paid for. Let me start by saying that if I get a KU book and I like it, I buy it right away.
I decided to get the entire trilogy as it's cold, storming, and my dogs are stuck inside just as I am. I finished my laundry and settled in for a nice read. Number One, I read all three books in a matter of hours, which made the differences in this so-called "series" appallingly obvious.
First off, three books and three works that are all named Rusneon, but are so different as to not be the same planet at all. Other than the name and some telepathy, none of the worlds resemble one another at all. In this book they are bereft of women and are led by a "Great Leader", In the second, and trust me, no spoiler alert because I ruin nothing for you, the hero is the king of Rusneon who's been missing for a really, RILLY long time. And they have enough women so that open masturbating or manipulating another in public is no big deal. The ONLY thing these worlds have in common is the name of the planet and some mystical night on which their rulers are allowed to marry. Secondly, unfortunately, the author was not good enough for me to suspend my belief enough to even consider an alternate universe plot line.
Number 2 - The grammar was horrible so much so that I had to stop reading several times in a chapter to suss out what the author could have possibly meant with the words she had published. I've seen sixth grade themes that were better constructed than these steaming piles of dung. The punctuation is non-existent in most parts, and the telepathic conversations? Indistinguishable from spoken conversations. Grammatically, these books would cause any English teacher or even a person just learning the language to openly weep. I guess no editors were involved. Hell, I doubt beta readers were involved.
Number 3, the authors knowledge of even simple scientific concepts such as worm holes or even jump gates caused me to groan. Intergalactic travel is a near impossibility, interstellar travel is iffy and predicated upon worm holes and/or jump gates to cross the massive amounts of space required for even interstellar travel.
I found the conversations between the hero and heroine so stilted unless it had anything to do with sex and even then it was just a lot of "oh God" and moaning in between some of the most immature sex I've read since Harlequin.
Will not read another book by this writer. She seriously needs to take a course in English Composition and perhaps creative writing.
The author needs an editor quick! I just got tired of all the grammar misuse and disjointed sentences. The plot seems simplistic and not very original - one that borders on dubious consent. Heroine is told if she does not chose the alien lord, he would destroy her world, Earth. Not a good incentive to love someone by threatening them, is it? I hope the author will improve with future works.
I'm going to agree with some of the other reviews here about this story. While the idea behind it is actually pretty good, it needs a lot of polishing and editing. We're kind of thrown around with no real concept of time and what just happened. It is rarely clear who is speaking, or thinking (as the aliens can communicate telepathically).
I hated Tessa. After she was taken she acted like the most idiotic and immature brat ever. Her attitude had me wanting to smack the shit out of her. I so tired of hearing about how much her life on Earth sucked but that it was so much worse here that she was constantly thinking of just dying. Which was ridiculous because she was treated exponentially better on this alien planet than she ever was on Earth.
I loved Ceff. He was the alien leader, and laughably referred to as "The Greatest" by his people for his title. From the little we got of him he seemed to be a good guy, super powerful, and hot. I would have liked to learn more about what this 'influence' of his really was.
Basically this is a very short story of a bunch of females who go to a clinic for some blood trials in exchange for money. Instead they find themselves abducted by aliens, put into cryo, and waking up 200 Earth years later on their way to an alien planet. This race is made up of mostly males so their ruler decided to branch out and look for other species to mate with. What I didn't get is why he was the only one to claim a female and the rest were sent home. I would think that all the women would have been claimed if the problem was as big as it sounded. Anyway, Tessa gets claimed by the leader and the rest of the book is her NOT trying to come to terms with things. Instead she hates everybody there, everything there, and thinks about escape thru death. Dramatic much? Ceff eventually woos her enough to marry him and slowly things start to look up for her in her mind.
So yeah. I liked the idea here. But it needed to be expanded and make more sense. Also, Tessa needed to not be such a stupid bitch.
This was an entertaining enough read. It let me a bit confused in some spots as to what was happening. It also had some formatting issues that separated quoted sets apart so it wasn't always apparent who was saying what. I did enjoy the overall story and the characters were interesting, though I would have liked to know more about them. I'm intrigued enough to continue the series.
The idea behind this book was a good one, but that's it. The writing was absolutely atrocious. The conversations were hard to follow, you never knew who was speaking!!!! Terribly confusing!! The hero and heroine were not people you would actually want to meet. I didn't even finish the book.
If this was a first draft, I would tell author to let go of the thesaurus and don't use the same descriptive word over and over. I felt my eyes glazing after the first mention of the male beauty. This story needs a good rewrite, it's to short, to unloved to be a good short story.
The fact they weren't told that they were being tested to be with the greatness and he sent the other girls back to earth and then he said he'd bring them back for the wedding and they weren't even mention
So, Ashley's books have been up and down for me...mostly down. There is improvement and this one proves that. She's not done Sci fi before and I was kinda nervous about reading it. This came out way better than I thought it would Yeah there are still small issues but for the most part it was a good story. Good descriptions and there was a plot that made sense. I wanted more of a relationship between the two. She hated him at first which was completely understandable because how how he went about things. I actually found her character to be pretty decent. Sometimes these heroines can be a little annoying and childish. Tessa wasnt. I was expecting more from this though like from when her "sisters" were brought back. Caff was actually kinda sweet once we got to know him. He was good to her. He has this affect on people. Its a sensual world and so when he uses his influence makes every woman horny to be honest and makes them overly sensitive to the touch. Now...that was kinda not a good characteristic especially using it to control someone which he did at first. This was fairly a long book by Ashley's standards. Well...longer. Tessa quickly had feelings for him but I really do wish there was more of a relationship between them. It kinda felt off so more character development is in order. I do like the world she created. There is another book out and I was hoping it was about her fellow human "sisters" but alas it is not.
The first time I reviewed this title it looked like a book report. This is the remix. Tighten up the editing. More interaction between the main characters outside the bed chamber would be awesome. There's a lot of missing information and questions unanswered. The book had great potential to be good, but it cut off 75% in and gave an intro to the next one in the series. With new characters mind you. I feel cheated and left hanging with a rushed ending.
Interesting read! I really liked how the alien lord had an influence on women and how he decided to choose her among the others. I like reading all of Ashley's work, especially this book and the Sheikh bear.
This is a fun, easy read- but it's very rough and choppy -incomplete. With editing, proofreading, and some polish, this book has the potential to be very good
It was a nice short alien romance. The first chapter seems completely out of place. I would suggest starting the story from the second chapter instead. There were also a few grammatical errors.
This addition brings yet another example of how differences between two species are overcomed by those differences and also by their similar needs. A quick look into their world.
The book was short and sweet with awesome characters. It was exciting, well written, steamy scenes, and you just want more. Must buy and keep them coming.
