The elements of the book should have resulted in a high rating for me. But it just feel flat.
The good...
Marcus was possessive, happy to be in love, wanted to show her off, was super sweet to Corin. Taking her in his first date ever! He had a sensitive soul in a tough biker shell.
No OW after meeting her Plus we do not see any before. AND no OW harassing her or making her uncomfortable.
Also
Corin handled his MC world really well for a 19 year old loner Virgin. She did not let her insecurities stop her and I like the she initiated sexy with him. It was very bold of her and he was so sweet about it.
The bad...
Nothing really. The manwhore/Virgin troupe does not bother me though.
The blah....
The story lacked a spark. I did not get his attraction to her at all. Corin was a mouse. He thought she was plain when he first met her. After ringing up his beer at the gas station he should not have been OTT gone for her. I love insta-lust/love. But this I just did not get.
The book felt choppy and I thought the author tried too hard to keep the MC out of the book. It needed an epilogue.

And for us die hard MC Fans we know what that means... Bad ass biker falls for his 'one'...
I love Jenika Snow's books and there isn't actually a book of hers that hasn't done it for me.
This book was no different. I loved the fact that Corin was this shy bigger women that found her prince.
Marcus asked Corin if she knew what it means to be an old lady:
'It means that there isn't anything on this planet that will ever tear you away form me. It means that to me you are everything, my world, and the only women that will ever have my heart' >

So the book is called Reckless, but I don't really understand why as nothing reckless happens in the book. There's no reckless behavior on Marcus's part, he's a born and bred biker, the son of Kink, so reckless is something that's ingrained into him since birth. I guess the fact that Corin went out of her comfort zone and decided to date a biker, that's the 'Reckless' part of the story because believe me there is absolutely nothing at all that stands out as reckless in this book. That title does not fit.
I thought Marcus's pursuit of Corin was rather sweet, for such a rough guy he sure knew how to reign it in for her sake but still keep true to himself. Their relationship was very fast paced but it was nice that he wasn't expecting for her to move in with him and start popping out babies as she was just nineteen.
One thing I can't get over Ms. Snow's books, aside from the fact that she seems to have an obsession with the older male/young female dynamic thing going on, is that for some reason she always strays from the current story she is telling. Like this story is supposed to be about Marcus and Corin, but it was a bit boring, I will not lie, what had me very interested was what was happening between Mason, Jakob, this mysterious sweet butt and Mason's accident. Of course now we have to wait for book two and I'll bet she'll once again stray from the current story and begin a whole new one...sighs.

It was OK. It wasn't anything new, especially if you've read other J.Snow biker books. The dirty talks the same, they always mention anal in the future, she was a virgin so he 'claimed her cherry' etc etc. the end was what bought the star up to a two really. It was all super familiar to me, and then it got interesting. Unsure if I'll continue at this time but I'm starting to think reading older books like these should be a one book thing and not the authors complete backlist because I liked something that was released this year... (Even though THIS particular book isn't 'old' I say that because I've been reading them all.)

MAN! What is to come now? I won't ruin it for you, but the ending sets the stage for this series.
There will be more to this series than just sexy bikers finding their old ladies. There's a new enemy and everyone has to ignore the misunderstandings they have and come together as a club and as allies to the club. I hope to see more from Corin and Marcus in the other books. Corin has so much potential to be strong and to come into her own. I'd love to see more of her "doing" something with her life. There is action, steamy sex, hot men and potential butt kicking--- good read.

Reckless - The Sons - The Brothers Of Menace MC - The Next Generation - By - Jenika Snow
This is the first book in the Brothers Of Menace MC - Next Generation Series and I can't wait to explore it. This series features the children of the original series's club brothers and we previously see them in the later half of the Grizzly MC series where they are friends with the Grizzlies second generation, so you may want to read those first.
This story focuses on Marcus, at twenty six he is the eldest son of Cookie and Kink. When Marcus first meets Corin Harsher a sweet and innocent nineteen year old woman he is drawn to he like a moth to a flame. She consumes his thoughts and dreams and he isn't going to complain about it. Their connection is instant but they are both unsure if the other feels the same way, once they learn that they do a fire brighter than anything begins to burn between them brighter than even they thought possible. I loved Corin's shyness, her innocence and the gentle soul she is but she finds an inner strength being around Marcus that is beautiful to witness. Marcus is a true alpha, possessive male who once realises he has found the other half of his soul stops at nothing to claim her as his own. Loved the chemistry between these two characters, they are delicious and cute all at once. I loved seeing the other children of the original members and those of the Grizzly MC to being mentioned. So much more of this series to look forward to! I can't wait to see who will fall next. Maybe Link Marcus' brother, either way it will be exciting! Happy Reading.

This is a spin off of The Brothers of Menace and Grizzly MC series books, it is the stories of the Son's of those main characters. If you have read all the books in the other two series I think this series is something you are going to want to dive into head first. I have read a couple from each series and I have some others on my kindle. I need to buckle down and read those 2 series in their entirety before moving on to The Sons because I will have all the back story of the character dynamics. I am not saying these are not stand alone, but the characters are all present and hanging out with each other and I think it will make the story have that much more depth and understand had I known their back stories better.
I plan to reread this story with fresh eyes after I catch up on the other books.
As it stands this is a good story. Solid Jenika Snow (I love her!) and it did not disapoint in the sexy department. The relationship between the main characters went quickly, but at a slow enough pace that it felt right with Corine's situation.
Good story, but I have a feeling it could be great with more back reading.
I plan to reread this story with fresh eyes after I catch up on the other books.

I'm starting to have a thing for MC stories, Jenika has the remarkable talent to bring it to you. I've had the pleasure of reading Jenika's work before and this newest one 'Reckless' was just another show of her wonderful talent to weave a story.
Corin is a simple girl an innocent her life is go to work go home. She managed to catch the eye of a member of a motorcycle crew. More bad boy thank she really even knows.
Marcus is the bad in bad apple, when he saves a cashier from being harassed by a group of idiots, once he leaves he can't stop thinking about her. He knows he is bad and should just stay way.
Reckless is a decent size book, characters are defined and progress. The Bad boy and the good girl, they go back and forth a lot in word play. (that part was just slightly annoying) but I really liked the story, its not a cliff hanger per se, but it seems to lead into the next book.
I hope I get the chance to read the next book in the series. If you like bad boy and MC themes go grab it, its well worth it.

Wow! Love, love it!! Which is no surprise with this author. Storyline is well written, steamy hot and sweet at times. Marcus is a sexy badass biker who parties hard and lives for his MC family. He’s a take me as I am kind of guy. He is who he is and has a I won’t change for anyone attitude. Little did he know meeting innocent, shy Corin would change him in little ways making him want to be a better man. Who knew this badass biker could have a softer gentle side that comes out when interacting with Corin but at the same time shows her who he really is. Corin may be shy but accepts Marcus and his biker life and for once goes after what she wants. They make a sweet couple whose characters just click. Loved their chemistry and passion. Loved his style of courting her. Can’t wait for more in this series. Would totally recommend. Received an ARC copy from author for a honest review.

4.5 Stars!!! Okay, so, I'm going to start this by saying that I want Mason's book ASAP!!! Like I really need it, I'm waiting on pins and needles in here!!
Now for Reckless: Absolutely loved it!!! So sweet and badass at the same time! I love it even more for the non dramatic events, I mean I'm sick of books filled with drama and sometimes I just want to enjoy a drama free book! Don't get me wrong, this book is not boring, it has action in spades, only that the drama is minimal and I like that!
Loved, loved both the hero and the heroine and of course all of the other characters. I've been with both The Grizzlies and The Brothers of Menace series from the beginning and I love that Jenika continues with the stories of their children!
Not going to say more because you just have to read this!!!! Oh and yeah I just want Mason's book, please!!!!

Jenika Snow is one of my favourite authors, I just love her books. You can feel how much she loves her Heroes and Heroines and you will love them as well.
In Reckless Marcus & Corin fall in love and their story is absolutely lovely, it warmed my heart and I really, really liked them together. It’s so beautiful to read how the manwhore & bad boy changed into a pussy-whipped biker, who loves his girl with his heart and soul, cherishes her und would walk to the end of the world to make her happy.
I can’t wait to read the next book in “The Sons”.
I would give 6 Stars, if it was possible.

I knew Jenika wouldn't let me down! Jenika did a great job in introducing us to the second generation and I can't wait for more The second generation of The Brothers of Menace are one bad ass crew! Just getting the small glimpse gave me the chills. Marcus is one badass mofo and I think I am in love. The way he swoops in and protects Corin from those drunks. Corin is also badass in her own way. She is strong when he needs her to be. They are perfect for each other. Jenikd a great job in introducing us to the second generation and I can't wait for more

Safety: H is a manwhore but not after meeting h. I think in the beginning we have to hear him talk about doing sweetbutts but nothing detailed . I am confused to when he had sex last . it was I think a week ago before meeting h or after meeting her once a week before meeting her again. h is a virgin (of course) lol. Ow tries to come on to H at party but he isn't having it. No touching, kissing etc. Other than that no ow or om drama. I would say this is pretty safe.

Steamy, sexy, and sweet all at the same time, and a further glimpse into Kink (from Brothers of Menace series) and his kids. I liked this one because it has a good relationship between the two leads, but it got a bit slow in parts, and a lot of time is taken up setting up the next book in the series, which the author does a lot. Good story, overall, though. I give it a 3.5, but I always round up, so .it's a 4.

nothing this author writes has disappointed me,and this one is probably my favorite from page one you feel the connection before the H/h,also something I loved while it was a biker mc it focused alot on the relationship alot of books lately focus more on the mc . Second generation, can't get any better!!!! Marcus, hot dayum, sexy, dangerous, loving, his own man who went after what he wanted, needed, and deserved....Corin. her sweetness, calm personality will anchor his darkness. I love how much he fell hard and fast for Corin....
