“Your touch singes me. Your kisses are like drugs. I am addicted to you. I am trapped by you. Yet I don’t want to escape from this beautiful prison.”
Julian Devereux. So beautiful and mysterious on the outside yet so damaged and broken on the inside. Who is this monster standing before me?
I thought I knew you well, but the past was only an illusion. But why do I find myself coming back for more? Do I enjoy being your pawn in your elaborate game to gain back the title of heir to the Devereux Legacy? Or am I so captivated by you that I am trapped by my own doing?
Maybe deep down, I want to dig for the truth, to find out why you turned out to be this monster. But I didn’t anticipate the story unfolding was beyond what I could imagine. Julian, what have you gone through?

Wanitta Praks was born in Thailand in the Cambodian refugee camp to Cambodian parents, but grew up in New Zealand, where she now calls home.
Wanitta is a dental hygienist by day, working in the University Dental School and private practice, but by night, she’s an avid romance writer. Her love of writing steams from when she was young, reading the many romance novels that kept her late into the night, and her sister, Alexia Praks, who is also a romance author.
Wanitta likes to write about love issues relating to today’s society, whether they be age-gape, gender issue, or racial issue, she tackles them all, usually with an added dose of comedy, angst and some spice. Her main books are contemporary romance fiction but she can also be seen writing YA, new adult, paranormal and fantasy.

The next book felt odd. It was overly complicated trying to be shocking but instead it was confusing and just silly. Trying to write about psychological male issues is so cliche (very fifty shades), especially when done so badly. A lot of things made no sense. About half way through it felt very rushed like the writer just could not wait to finish and the writing became sloppy. I have read better free ebooks. Loved the first one but this was just disappointing and tiering.
I’m so sad because I thought there was going to be a good reason for the ending of the last book and it all took a very wrong turn. Don’t get me wrong some of the sex parts...damn! But there is only so many times they can have sex in one day 😂
In all honesty compared to the last book it felt like s completely different person wrote this one.
This story has everything you could want. Julian and Kimberly are trying to navigate through their "twisted " love. It's kept me excited and waiting to see what happens next from the beginning of book 1. I'm looking forward to reading the next one immediately.
