I received this for free through my Amazon Kindle. The old "you get what you pay for" comes to mind when it comes to this book. But, here's a quick pro/con for those of you that are trying to decide if this is a book you want to read.
Main characters: Brandon and Hannah
Negative Aspects:
The storyline is a cliche, as are a lot of the books that are in this genre, especially those that are being given away for free by Amazon. But, keep in mind that if you like an original story this is not the one for you. Everything was overworked, there was corny dialogue that no real human would ever utter, the "plot" was predictable, there is absolutely no character development of any kind (or any reason to care about the characters), the pair has no significant connection that would merit a one night stand let alone any relationship, the sex/romance itself is so forced it comes off as someone just wanting to write sexually explicit scenes that have no real point, and as always--and most frustrating for me--the female lead is spineless, weak, and couldn't find her way out of a wet paper bag if she tried. But I bet if a man showed up to save her, she'd do a lot better.
Positives:
It is free, so if you want something for free this is indeed free. The sex scenes may be your cup of tea, even if they are forced/cliche if you're in the right mood. This book is a little bit better than some of the other things in the genre (hence the 2 stars instead of 1 star). Also, it seems like Lucia Jordan could potentially figure out how to write a story--she's an author I might give a second chance and read a longer, not-free book from.
