An internationally-recognized expert on paranormal research, Warren was hired by the famous Grove Park Inn Resort to be the first person to officially investigate the Pink Lady apparition in 1995 (the same year he founded L.E.M.U.R. paranormal investigations, of which he is president). Warren also led the expedition that captured the first known footage of the elusive Brown Mountain Lights, eventually resulting in scientific breakthroughs, via experiments Warren led in the lab, that help explain most of the lights and many mysterious, natural plasmas (such as ball lightning) that occur around the world. His work has been praised by the Rhine Research Center, The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (or NCCAT, for which he gives annual presentations) and numerous scholars such as New York Times best-selling author Dr. William R. This is a fun and enlightening book that uses the Star Wars movies as a backdrop to teach the "Law of Attraction". It's fun to read and gives excellent examples from the movies on hoe to manifest the things you want to receive from the universe.

If you are having a difficult time understanding or practicing the Laws of Attraction you might want to give this a try.

I never expected to read a book like Use the Force. When I got to start reading it I was constantly bothering my mom about it telling her that she should read it as well. “It’s like The Secret” she would say, “I read up on that a long time ago, that stuff never works.” To which I would reply, “Not with that kind of attitude it won’t… The universe takes time to give what you wish to recieve, your doubts are your greatest hinderences.”this of course caused my mom to push me away. “That’s complete BS.” She would tell me. “I think it works.” I would insist. “Good for you. Now leave me alone, I’m watching my movie.” My mom’s head would turn away from me, “Fine.” I would say and would leave her alone again.
I am a firm believer that what energy you put out into the universe is the type of energy that come back to you. When I am in a certain mood I can be almost annoyingly positive and a lot of the time that energy is noticed mostly by my family and funny conversations like the one I had with my mom ensue. I think I enjoyed this book so much because it confirms what I already believe and the types of things that I see within the world. It so hard not to be jaded by life and a lot of the time that fear to take the next step forward is what hurts you the most. We never know what’s just around the corner and so we lock our hearts away for fear of being hurt and while hurt most certainly will happen eventually there is a possibility of some beautiful and amazing things to come your way if only you free yourself from a negative mindet.

Another thing I loved about this book was the quotes and information about Star Wars. As one of the few in this universe that has yet to see the films it was suprisingly easy to understand the situations the author would reference and I thought the background information of the movie was incredibly interesting. This aspect of the book makes it really accessible to readers and makes the book all the more interesting.

It took me a long time to read this book, but this is only because I felt like a book like this is best read in sections only so the ideas would better sink into my mind so that they may be used in my daily life. I often like books that are meant to be read in small sittings, in a way that reading style can make the impact of a book all the more powerful.

If you are looking for a positive change in your life, love Star Wars, and/or are interested in learning more about the law of attraction, I would hope for you to pick up this book. It was entirely engaging and positive, I will definitly be implementing its words to create the future I wish for myself going forward in life.

Really enjoyed this book. A different take on the nature of the law of attraction. I was very familiar with most of the information Joshua shared on the mechanics of the law of attraction but found his way of describing it unique. Also there were sections in the book which I found to be new and exciting. Loved how he used the Jedi.

It's my fault that I started reading this pseudoscientific crap because I didn't check what "law of attraction" is before I picked it up. In short, it is an idea that positive thoughts bring positive things into one's life and negative ones negative.

One thing is - it being a ridiculous, laughable idea and hopefully obvious to a 5 year-old that that's not how the world works. The foremost variable that determines how much money a person is going to have, what the chances are that their child will die before the age of 5, that they will or won't live in poverty, etc. is the country which they were born into. Which is, obviously, a completely random chance. When you're born in a dirt-floor hut, and the school and hospital are too far away to reach on foot and your whole family doesn't even own a bicycle between them, so you never get any education, you can't reach a market to sell your hard work and start saving for a better life, and you mother or wife die in childbirth because there is no way to get them to a hospital for the most basic of medical care, I would looooove to see you positive-think your way out of that.

Everything else, you IQ, your willpower, your level of education, your willingness to study and work hard, everything else, comes a far second to the importance of the country you were born in. It doesn't even have to be one of the poorest countries like I described here, being born in Spain instead of the US already makes a difference because of lower average income.

Another thing is - I have almost never heard of a more disgusting, repulsive, vomit-inducing case of victim-blaming in my life. Because if negative thoughts bring negative events and circumstances, then chronically ill people, terminally ill people, people living in poverty all their live, people starving, people in war zones, people who die of cancer instead of surviving it etc. have brought it all upon themselves. (And if you're thinking: "But I heard that positive thinking improves outcome of cancer, congratulations, you are spouting tobaco-industry's lies which they turned to once they had to come up with something when they lost the battle of hiding that cigarettes indeed do cause cancer. What to tell people now? Tell them if they keep positive they can keep smoking.)

I can't believe people so immature exist. So immature that they can't deal with the real world being unfair, and impossible to control, so they have to believe in crap like this.

Oh wait, sadly, not only can I believe it, I absolutely know for a fact they do exist.

When I heard about "The Law of Attraction" back in the day, I brushed it off my shoulder as a bunch of hog-wash hippie baloney. Although I did believe in a form of cosmic synchronicity, I did not share the idea that you can "manifest intentions".
I was recommended by a family member to read the book The Secret and learn about the Law of Attraction so I accepted the challenge. As I listened to the audio-book, I dismissed most of the teachings as New Age Pantheist wishful thinking, but some teachings did interest me as I did see basis for them.
As I was searching for the book The Secret, I instead found THIS book and to keep the benefit of the doubt, I took it accepting it as another synchronicity of the "Universe" or in this case "The Force" (Or Will of God, whatever you label it).
As a fan of Star Wars, I highly enjoyed reading this book. The author relates the teachings of the Law of Attraction with Star Wars illustrations and quoting. The book was very easy to read which makes sense if his target audience are Younglings. Even with simple wording, the author does great in teaching the principles and idea's at the level of a Master Yoda. This book would be a great gift for a high-schooler.
Reading the book has given me further mind techniques or "mind powers" which is consistent with my commitment this year to Stoicism.
One of my favorite quotes of the book out of the many: "You are either master of mind or mastered by mind".

- To manifest your dreams, you must first believe in their possibility.

- Just as a Jedi tunes into the Force, we must learn to tune into our own inner guidance.

- Every thought is a seed; plant wisely and nurture the ones that align with your true self.

- The universe responds to your energy, so ensure your vibrations are those of hope, love, and possibility.

- Obstacles are merely opportunities in disguise, testing our commitment to our goals.

- The path of attraction is about balance—between desire and gratitude, action and reflection.
