It’s been two weeks since Dylan St. John entered my life in a firestorm of lust and passion. Now I know his secret - he’s a beloved, badass rock star.
His band is playing in Boston tonight, and I have tickets to his show. I wonder if I'll be able to tell when I see him if he's been reliving our every moment the way I have. Or maybe I was just another distraction.
And if he sees me, I wonder if he'll be able to tell that he’s not the only one with a secret.
ohmyfuckinggodholyshiticantevendealwiththatcliffhanger.I’m having a hard time catching my breath after that ending. Notwithstanding that CLIFFHANGER FROM HELL, I love this serial!
This book holds you on the edge, quivering with need, until finally letting you succumb to an incredibly satisfying release. The second in this series, Rae Lynn builds the relationship between Rachel and Dylan with words and action. Scorchingly hot, just get the vibrator ready while you read this one. *Throws head in freezer*
Rachel and Dylan are back and are hotter than ever. Rachel’s up in Boston and is working her magic in the Orchestra there. There’s a little something off between her and her Maestro, but what it is, you don’t know. However, he’s mostly a jerk and he works them all extremely hard. Rachel’s been trying to forget about Dylan but her body won’t let her. She fantasizes not only about the way that he made her feel, but about who she became when she was with him.
When the two of them find each other once again, it’s hot, dark and oh-so-fucking sexy. I was quickly pulled into a maelstrom of emotions – sexual energy pulsates and feelings start to bloom. There are some seriously dirty scenes in this book – Ms. Blaise is filthy and I LOVE IT. Dylan St. John can orchestrate my body any time he’d like.
In case you couldn’t tell from the above, there’s a ridiculous cliffhanger that will leave your mouth hanging. I was still reminding myself this morning that they are fictional characters and that I need to get over it. I’m so not over it yet.
In the words of Britney, GIMME MORE.

Wow ! Scorching HOT, sexy read ... A one night stand with Dylan *swoon* was all it was suppose to be. Until he turns out to be a Badass Rockstar that has flipped good girl Rachel's world upside down. Now he's all she thinks about and is in her town for his concert . One more night with him turns into one of the hottest books I've read this year . Oh my I just love Dylan's dirty mouth and things he can do with his instruments. I can not wait for book 3 I was not expecting that ending and I need it now ! Rae Lynn's writing is fantastic .
OMG OMG OMG!!! WHAT??? Never saw that coming???!!! Massive cliffhanger...this book is like a spell of musical intricacies, mixed with words, forming a intoxicating book series. As the story of 2 amazing musicians continues, the spellbinding story is powerful, passionate, sexy, consuming, raw, addictive & electrifying. Make your heart melt, your mind dizzy, & your soul shakes with each chapter! Fantastic books & can't wait for book 3!
Oh My God! I just looooooved it. It was the kind of book you wanna keep reading and don't want to end. It made my heart soar and broke it at the same time. Can't wait for the next one. Job well done by Rae Lynn Blaise.
It wasn't supposed to be more than a onetime deal between Rachel and Dylan, but two weeks later, and Rachel still wants him for his body...his mind...his passion...for how he makes her feel freer than she's ever felt. Dylan kept his identity secret and now that Rachel knows the truth, and he's playing in her town, she has to decide if she can stay away from the man who knows exactly what she needs or see if there's any chance he might want more like she does. But there's a catch - Rachel might know Dylan's secret, but Dylan has no idea about Rachel's and no matter the lust they feel towards one another, it's not something that can easily be forgotten.
Boy does the plot thicken in book 2 of Badass In My Bed. Rachel's finally where her father's always wanted her to be, and she belongs there due to her talent, but it seems like it's not where she wants to be. It's more of a duty to her father or maybe more...because the way the Maestro seems to focus on Rachel indicates a bit more of a relationship than what it appears at face value.
Dylan is still the hot as sin alpha male that he was in book 1, but it's almost like he's amped up even more because the one woman he can't stop thinking about is now back in his space and he knows exactly what to do with her.
Rachel and Dylan's story is far from over with the cliffhanger ending of book two, but one thing's for sure - Rachel is the person she wants to be with Dylan; she's freer...she's more content and has fewer inhibitions, so it will be interesting to see how Rachel moves forward.
Rae Lynn Blaise knows how to illustrate passion and a sizzling connection through her descriptive sex scenes, and she also draws readers into the storyline by providing little hints along the way that things are not what they seem, enticing readers to continue reading for the answers they so desperately want.

Second book and it's still hot as H E double hockey sticks. Rachel is stuck on Dylan and I don't know a woman who wouldn't be stuck on that fine piece of man. Thinking she will never see him again and trying to move forward with her new job she's realizing what she's missing. No number no email and no way to contact him she's done for. But fate has a funny way of making things happen and she gets reacquainted with the Sexy as sin Dylan. I am super jealous. Dylan is back with a vengeance and wants nothing more than to own Rachel mind body and soul! He is just freakin amazing and I can't praise Raelynn enough for her writing. OMG! get ready for a crazy ending that leaves your jaw on the floor! Can't wait to see what happens with the next book. hurry up next week.... I need Dylan!
Rachel knows Dylan's secret, it wasn't difficult really considering who he is but she's missed him like crazy in the two weeks since they were together and now almost totally by chance she finds herself at his concert and it all comes back everything he made her feel and it's a hard thing to give up, feeling alive. They were supposed to be a one-time thing but neither of them seems capable of moving on, both way more affected than they ever thought they'd be, but while Dylan's secret is out Rachel is still hiding something. This book ends on a cliffhanger and despite the cliffhanger itself not being a surprise the ending just leaves us wanting more.
Oh my goodness. The second installment of this series was super hot! Good girl Rachel tries her best to forget about bad boy Dylan. But when she finds out he's in town, she knows that she just has to go to the concert to see him one last time. Just when I thought Dylan couldn't get any hotter, his actions and words make him smoking hot. And that ending? Major cliffhanger that has me wanting to read more!! The author has done an amazing job with these characters, and I can't wait to read the third book.
3.5 stars rounded up to 4. Book #2 in a serialization about a rocker and a cellist. The two sizzle together but I hated the cliffhanger that ended this one. I think I know what is going on but why can't characters communicate with each other rather than leaving one or the other in shambles. But, I will read Book #3.
WOW! Yes, WOW! It's been two weeks since Rachel Simmons discovered her one night, life changing, fling turns out to be badass rock star Dylan St. John. Dylan left his mark on Rachel, she's become obsessed stalking for information. Just by chance Dylan's band is planning in Boston and her co-cellist invites her to the concert.
All bets are off when Dylan discovers Rachel in the crowd at his concert. Rachel wants an opportunity to confront Dylan about his secret, Dylan wants an opportunity to confront Rachel about her deceit but instead they end up having the best angry sex. Rachel continues to discover her bad girl, nympho ways. Dylan continues his hot, possessive, alpha male ways. Rachel still has a secret she's keeping from Dylan. There's hints throughout and although I saw it coming I was still floored by the ending! It was soul crushing. I'm craving book 3!
He's a Rock Star, She's a Cellist and they make a intriguing pair. If you're looking for a well written, hot, erotic story with a touch of angst, you've found the right series! I love mini series, Rae Lynn Blaise ranks up there with my favorite serial writers, Roxy Sloane and Lila Monroe.
"What are you going to do with that" "I'm directing your"
As with most trilogies I've read, book two just seems to be filler; not as exciting as the first book, but it gives you just enough to make you desperately wish the third book had come out yesterday. This is definitely the case with BADASS IN MY BED # 2.
So being that this is mainly filler, not a great deal happens in this book. The story is told in Rachel's POV and there's a lot of recollection and reflection that goes on, with her remembering her two nights with Dylan, talking about her feelings for Dylan and her fantasies involving Dylan. She's now rehearsing with the Boston Symphony and they're getting ready for their show to start. Dylan does come back into the picture and when he has to continue on with his band's tour, Rachel is left wondering if she made the right choice in not following him. The book ends in a cliffhanger when Rachel's secret is revealed. I'll admit, it was pretty easy to guess what was coming, but what has intrigued me is the reason behind the secret. I think the secret is just a smoke screen and I can't wait to see how it plays out in the final book.
Rachel is getting settled in to Boston. She thinks about Dylan all the time and wishes she had exchanged contact information but with her father's expectations and the price she is paying for this job at the Symphony it is probably for the best.
Paul a musician who sits near her offers her a ticket for Dylan's band. Rachel had no idea they were in Boston. Rachel agrees knowing that she is just going to see Dylan but Paul thinks that they may be more because Rachel is so excited.
Dylan gets her alone a minute and stuffs his hotel key card into her bra. They have a great two days an Dylan has to move on the tour. They talk about being together but know it will not work.
Rachel has a patrons gala to attend and when it is about over she looks up and Dylan has given up his Hollywood gala and is there for her. Just as she sees him the Coonductor Blaine who gave her the job when her Dad agreed that they would marry announces their engagement. I cannot wait for book 3.
What? What? Rae Lynn Blaise, what are you doing to me? That cliffhanger killed me! I DIED. DIED. DIED. That being said, I loved every single word in this book. Wow! What a gem! The continuation of the Badass series was hot, sexy, gripping and beautifully written with major chemistry happening between Rachel and Dylan.
I love these two characters so much, they break each other’s walls down. Their story is passionate, emotional and engaging. I found myself so entranced in the story I read it from start to finish. Next thing I know, it’s over. That cliff hanger. Badass! Good thing I don’t have to wait long for book three! I need to know how their story ends. I can’t wait to find out what happens! In the meantime, I’ll be dying...Thanks Rae Lynn Blaise for another amazing book. Well done!
This story just keeps me so enthralled! Dylan and Rachel can't forget their passionate encounter and pine for what could have been. They have another chance meeting in Boston and pick right back up where they left off, hotter than ever! But the secrets that Rachel keeps threaten any hope of their future.
"He thinks I'm a good girl, and except for the crazy things I do when with him, I am. Except I'm not good for him. And he's not good for me. He makes me want to light my life on fire and dance over the ashes."
I love their combustible chemistry musically, temperament, and sexually. I feel their growth is genuine and honest and the story line is so intriguing. The ending had me yelling "Noooo! Don't stop here!" But Rae Lynn Blaise did and I need to know what happens next! Bravo Ms. Blaise, Bravo!

This book begins two weeks after Dylan and Rachel's first encounter and Rachel is now in Boston living her dream, only the only dreams she has at night are about Dylan and the delicious things he did to her body. He Maestro is a complete hard ass and she hates that he pretty much controls her future with the Symphony.
When fate brings Dylan back into her life she can't decide if she should be with him or stay away and save herself from future heartbreak, of course she can't stay away and they pick up right where they left off, burning up the sheets, but Rachel has a secret of her own that she is keeping and she may be the one who doles out the heartbreak!
I read this book in under and hour and then was sad because I couldn't jump right into book three, I admit, I am hooked!
This is the continuation of the relationship between Rachel and Dylan. She's the professional cellist and he's the sexy rockstar. The attraction between these two opposites is magnetizing, and the sparks are definitely flying off the pages. "He makes me want to light my life on fire and dance over the ashes." Who wouldn't want someone to make you feel this alive?
This is a very quick hot read, but it also has a lot of substance to it. The pace of the storyline was well written and believable. And the cliffhanger?? Oh my goodness! I am anxious to see what's next in this series. I give 4 stars to Bad Ass in My Bed #2.
“Our lives have a way of keeping us in boxes unless we fight.”
Say what? That ending! Freaking out right now!! I need the next book, now!!!!
Yes! I’m loving this series! Rachel & Dylan’s chemistry is so intense. As their connection grows deeper you will be swept up in their little cocoon. And Goodness! Rae Lynn Blaise sure knows how to heat up the pages!
“He makes me want to light my life on fire and dance over the ashes.”
The writing is fantastic! It’s full of passion and feeling. The story is exciting and leaves you wanting more! Anxiously awaiting the next installment!!
I loved the first one and immediately click this one. This is book two in the series and you must read book one first. Rachel is living in Boston. Dylan's band is playing in Boston. Since she found out who he really was she has become a fan of the band. When the opportunity the attend his concert comes up she can't resist going. Dylan see her and she ends end getting back stage for a meet and greet. That leads to another hot and steamy night for them. I loved both Dylan and Rachel. Rachel has a secret that I didn't even know she had. Her secret comes out right at the end of this book. I can't wait to read the next one.
As I finish this second book in the story, I have so so many thoughts and feeling churning. What an incredible story this is and I need more right now. Book 3 releases in a few days and I feel like I will be holding my breath until that happens. Dylan St. John is an incredible force to be reckoned with, especially when he is with Rachel. The connection shared with these two ships passing in a shaky storm is so undeniable. This story makes my heart smile, pound harder, palms sweat and tears of happiness and shock spring free. I absolutely cannot get enough of this story!!
Dylan, the H, is hot when he's performing, being sweet, or even angry. Rachel, the h, she's comes a long way since her first interaction with Dylan.
The scene when they're making music together (literally) is sexy. Loved them together.
The cliffhanger - 5 words - Are you freakin' kidding me?!?!?! Hate Blaine/Maestro. Not a big fan of Rachel at the end. The light in Dylan's eyes died because of her.
Cannot wait until #3 comes out 7/28/15. There better be a freakin' HEA.
I received an ARC for my honest review...3 words...what a cliffhanger!!! This continuation from the first book has a reunion with our hero and heroine. Sparks continue to fly as things develop. Rachel is finding her own within the symphony while trying to define her scary, yet growing, feelings for Dylan. We see a crazy twist at the end that is sure to make your jaw drop! Stay tuned for book #3! Xoxox Rae!
makin kuat karakternya agak sebel ma heroinenya yg dual bgt sikapnya. nolak ngasi no telp tp kebayang2 sex mrk mulu, di mana pun, kapanpun. selalu punya alasan ini itu dan inner godness untuk mengaburkan perasaan dan menyabotase kemungkinan dirinya untk bahagia. makin hot, makin banyak dan makin kinky secene hore2 nya. endingnya yang cliffhanger, shocking banget! ngeselin!!!
I am giving a bad rating not because of the writing style, storyline or fun in reading. It is getting a 3 star because Rachael made me mad. She knew. She lied. She blatantly destroyed Dylan's heart. I hope in #3 he calls her out in front of everyone calling her trashy names and embarrassing her beyond belief. How hard is it to tell the truth?
I really liked this because the two characters are fun and mature. There's no whining or little angst. The three books seem more like short stories, but they do deliver a good romance with some conflict. Really disliked the cliff hanger!
Dylan & Rachel's relationship gets so much hotter in this story. She's going to need to make a big time decision which will affect her career. This one ends in a cliffhanger so thank God I can move on to book #3 right now.
