Rate this book
Israel lies dying from demon poison. To save him, Alyx needs the recipe for the cure, supposedly contained within the Threads of Dark, and she needs Mayrekk’s knowledge of herbs to make it.

But Mayrekk remains imprisoned in Michaelea, being punished for his hand in Alyx’s escape, and Michael himself guards the key to Mayrekk’s freedom. The Threads of Dark is sealed within a secret chamber deep under the Archives of Urielos, a Seraphim city clinging to cliffs somewhere along the coast of Italy. Even if Alyx does manage to find a way into the city, the chamber is guarded by ancient riddles and deadly traps…

Can Alyx rescue Mayrekk and retrieve the Threads of Dark before Israel slips away?

Hanna is the bestselling author of the Bound romantic suspense series and the Dark Angel fantasy series. Although she writes in more than one genre she can’t write a book without weaving together a complicated plot and filling it with twists. She writes what she believes: good people can do bad things, ordinary people can do great things, and choose love above everything.

If not writing, she can be found wandering a dusty market in Marrakesh or trekking a mountain in Peru, often using her travels as settings in her novels.

Fun fact: I haven't completed reading a single book since I started college in late August. However I read this book in just three days! Even though I had a quiz and a paper due today! Isn't that something?

This book is just the kind of fantasy, sweep-you-to-another world book I needed! It's easy to read and very engaging. I don't want to give any spoilers here, but my favorite part was . That was just brilliant and intellectually simulating! I love all the action scenes too! And the story line. It's just amazing! Also, I find the romance in this book much hotter than in the previous ones. I don't really remember the scenes with Israel cause I read the other books five months ago but Alyx and Jordan are just perfect for each other! What's not to love about the couple! Jordan is such a cutie. 10/10 would bang!

One thing I don't like about the book is the cover. If I saw it in a bookstore, I probably wouldn't buy it. I wouldn't even read the summary. It's because the cover makes me feel that this book is going to be just another romantic plot-less tale. But that's the exact thing the book isn't! It's a really really interesting tale! I prefer the older cover style and would like it if the books had that. But I guess that's probably just me

Anyway, I can't wait to read the next book! Hanna please please please put it up as an ARC. Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Note: I got an ARC of this book from the LoP group (aka the best group on Goodreads)

WOW!!!
Can this story get any better than this? Alyx's character was amazing I didn't see it coming in the last book, the passion, hurt the pain the loss of memory and the love for both men.
She is out to save Israel, but gives a piece of her-heart away in the end. There are so many things that I love about this story, but I am not going to give away spoilers in my review I will say one of my favorite moments was at the end with Alyx, she was just in time to save him and curse him. She was Israel's Guardian, it is her destiny to guard him or die trying. This have become one of my number ones in series, I can't wait until Ms Peach complete book four.
Love it!!! If you are looking for an exciting, adventure filled story, with dark evil this book for you.

I was given this book in exchange for my honest review ...Goodreads.com (LoP)

**I was given this book in exchange for an honest review, Lovers of Paranormal.**

*slight ranting spoilers ;)*

I mean this is the nicest possible way when I say, "damn you Hanna Peach." I was perfectly happy being completely Team Israel...and then you introduced Jordan (the real Jordan). NOW I am a very anxious Team Jordan, at times I felt like Alyx....I couldn't decide who I loved more because I fell in love with them both!

This was the best installment of the series yet, I absolutely LOVED it.

My favorite part was probably the four tests to get the Threads of Dark...not only were there super cute Alyx and Jordan moments but it was SUPER exciting.

Actually everything from breaking into Michael's chambers to freeing Mayrekk to the Archives in Urielos...it was super fast paced and no part was EVER boring!

I have NO IDEA where Hanna Peach is going to take this series next and I can't wait to find out.

Ughh, it's still bothering me about Israel and Jordan though, I really don't know what Alyx is going to do or who she will choose, but I'm expecting great things.

Bring on book 4!

So for a while I was in a reading slump and after getting over it I started into this book. I was so angry! Some times life gets so busy and I don't have time to read which was awful! When I wasn't reading this book I found myself thinking about it. The point where my boyfriend kept asking me why in was so out of it. This book just grabs your attention and doesn't let go.

I don't want to give too much away as this is the third book and I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't read the first two (which you should by the way, go do that now. You won't regret it!) But I will say this, I am one of those people who enjoy love triangles. /gasps/ I know, I know. Though I'm probably rooting for Jordan.

There is the perfect balance of adrenaline pumping action and sweet tender romance. If you enjoyed the first two books in this series than I know you'll love this one. It's my favorite so far and I can't wait to see what happens next! So get this book, start the series. Whatever just read this! You'll love Alyx and enjoy her character so much.

*I received this book free from the author and in no way does that affect my review. This is my honest opinion*

Angelsong Dark Angel Series #3

I was given this book from Lovers of Paranormal in an exchange of an honest review.

After a terrible mission going wrong Israel is demon-poisoned and lying on a lithargic coma,

Alyx has forgot all her love for him, and accidently falls in love with Jordan while searching for the antidote, a huge confussing is to be awaited and that's for sure.

Have I mentioned the demon army waiting to grab Israel and unlock the gates of Hell and Heaven.

That book was a big mystery on itself. Action and drama fighting for control over it. You fall in love with both Israel and Jordan-who is becoming a main character and a barrier between Alyx and Israel- you feel what Alyx feels and that is unique. I was fascinated!!!

Angelsong is book 3 in the Dark Angel series.

Alyx must save Israel, who is dying. But things start getting complicated as she's developing feelings for Jordan . I loved the game that Alyx and Jordan had to play to get the the Threads of Dark.

*Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review from Lovers of Paranormal*

"You must save him, Alyx. He is very important." Alyx nodded. "I know" The Elder shook his head. "No. I don't think you do. What is coming will either be the end of everything or it could free us all. He plays a great role in this. As do you." -Elder & Alyx

What I love about this series is that as it moves forward, is that it doesn't drag on. There are some series where as you read each book or finish the series, you look back and realize that everything that happened could've fit into two books instead of dragging the story out, but not this one. I think each book adds more to the overall story and with each book you also love each character more. Like the two previous books, this third book in the Dark Angel series will grab your attention from the very first page. Where Angelstone focused on Samyara and Aradale, Angelsong takes us back to Michaelea and to Elder Michael. A place where we get to see old characters again and where Alyx is enemy #1 to everyone, including those who she was once close to. This place is also the catalyst to brand new discoveries, such as what Elder Michael has been up to and unfortunately more tragedy. Towards the end of the book, the story takes a turn towards the unexpected. There is a twist that you will not see coming at all. I was left with my mouth open and in complete shock. I just couldn't believe it but I think it just made this series that much more interesting. Angelsong will captivate your heart and have you biting your nails with its swoon worthy and suspenseful material.

"She didn't know what to do, or how to fix things. And the thing she needed the most she was about to lose. Or maybe, he was already lost." -Alyx

ALYX

I felt so bad for Alyx, especially in the beginning of the book, because at this point she has the fate of the world in her hands and with this comes a lot of pressure. The kind of pressure that would make anyone want to curl up in a corner and cry but this girl takes it like a champ. Her fierce loyalty to the destiny bestowed upon her is really admirable. Despite experiencing so many blows lately, she picks herself up, dusts off her shoulders, and keeps on going. In the beginning we see that she is somewhat at a loss. She has no idea what to do to help Israel and already feels like she lost him as the poison didn't just impair him but also their Guardian bond as well. Before she starts her search for a cure, something happens to her that makes her already damaged bond with Israel even more harder to access. As a result, she recognizes Israel and knows who he is but has no recollection of ever falling in love with him. Because of this, her heart opens to new possibilities. In more specific terms, Jordan. She's able to see him in a whole new light as a veil has been lifted. In a way, Jordan sorta becomes her everything. Her best friend, greatest supporter, and partner. As they both embark on their journey to Michaelea and Urielos, to retrieve The Threads of Dark and ingredients for the cure, she realizes just how much they compliment each other by strengthening the other's weaknesses. When they both experience the loss of a close friend, they are there to comfort one another and she can't help but fall for him. As she regains her memories of Israel, she'll have to face a really hard decision in the near future. Left with a heart split in two, who will she choose?

"…her love for Israel flooded back into the void like a river that had been undammed. But the void had now been filled with her love for Jordan. The two sides fought for space. Both trying to exist. Both a betrayal to the other. Her heart and soul fought to reconcile itself. But…it couldn't." -Alyx

"Her lips crushed against his. Alyx felt her body ignite and any walls left around her heart burnt away like a paper house in a roaring flame. The warmth, the love that he offered her in his kiss and in his touch expanded to fill up the rest of this void in her soul. And she felt…whole." -Alyx

JORDAN

Oh my gosh I cannot get enough of this guy. Through his POVs its so evident that he absolutely loves Alyx. He'll be whomever she needs him to be and will always be there for her no matter what. She is one lucky girl because Jordan is one of a kind. I really believe that this was definitely his book. We get to see just how vulnerable he really is behind this fierce shell he presents to everyone around him. What everyone sees on the outside is this impenetrable strong and macho warrior but what they fail to see is that behind this facade is a guy who is so scared to be seen as weak that he does whatever he can to hide his emotions. But from everyone he's ever meet, there is only one person who has ever been able to see through it; Alyx. When it comes to her it becomes pretty clear that he can't hide his feelings from her. She can see right through him because she's the same. And for once there's also someone in his life who makes him feel. Most importantly, makes him want to feel. When all of a sudden Alyx seems to be returning that attraction he feels for her, it becomes his only chance to have her see him, really see him for the first time. At first he somewhat tries to hold back because he knows just how strong her feelings are for Israel but as he spends more time with her, he can't help but act on his feelings. After a missed opportunity of helping Alyx make a life altering decision, one thing remains clear. His love for her is now stronger than ever. But also leaves us with a question. Will he be able to survive the possibility of rejection, again?

"Alyx, you make me feel more alive than I have ever been. You came into my life and slowly there was light again, there was color…and you made me feel…oh god, do you make me feel. Feel everything. You, just being you, have coaxed the feeling back into my heart. For this, I will always love you. -Jordan

"Israel heard her voice, lighting across his darkness like a shooting star. But he couldn't see her. Alyx. His angel. Where was his angel? Where was he?" -Israel

ISRAEL

We don't get to see much of Israel in this book since he's in a coma like state in as his body is fighting to keep himself alive. He finds himself in this dark expanse. Where he's not exactly dead but he's not in the realm of the living either. As he's in this state, one thing is really obvious to him; his Guardian bond with Alyx is damaged. He is left with the fear that he may lose Alyx because of this to another. Little did he know that he may have just foretold what was about to come. In this new place he finds himself in, he will learn that in order to win the war that is to come, he must become the strong willed, headstrong man the world needs him to be. With the help of an old mentor, he's one step closer to becoming the warrior he was destined to be.

"If felt like love at first sight. She had no memories of their love to draw upon, no memories of loving him, but she felt it deep in her soul, in the place that existed eternally. The place beyond memories. Beyond magic. -Alyx

Overall, Angelsong is definitely my favorite book in the series so far. Not only was I cleverly tricked and loved it, now I am absolutely torn between two amazing, swoon worthy boys. I just hope that whoever she doesn't choose, ends up getting their own happily ever after because I really love them both. Things are just starting to heat up in the world of the Dark Angel series and the inevitable war is looming closer than ever before. I know I will be waiting on pins and needles to get my hands on a copy of the fourth in the series. I can't wait to see way lies ahead for Alyx, Israel, and Jordan.

Other Favorite Quotes:

"I'll be your wings when you can't fly." He smiled and pulled her closer so that her racing heart was pressed against him. "Just like you are my song when I can't hear." -Jordan

"And she will stand before you reflecting you back onto yourself, like a mirror to your soul." -Jordan

"It's kinda beautiful, isn't it?" she said. "I could stare at this sky forever. The color is just… stunning. And is that gold in there as well?" His voice was quiet. "Now you know how I feel." "What?" He cleared his throat. "Your eyes. The sky is the exact color of your eyes." -Alyx & Jordan

"He was the sun that warmed these deepest spaces in her soul, her empty Sahara. This desert had been cold before him and would be cold without him." -Alyx

"She was beginning to understand this Rogue. He wasn't cold and distant. He just couldn't show his emotions. She understood what it was like to fear appearing weak." -Alyx

Done. Will not be continuing this series.

At first, she completely loses her mind over the possible loss of Israel. Total shut down. Not what I would have expected of the character from the first book. Then, after losing a select set of memories, our warrior suddenly turns into a spineless jelly fish who only thinks with her hormones. The whole book was centered on whiney feelings about her current love interest and why she couldn't figure out why she couldn't reciprocate those feelings. Even though she continued missions, it was pure selfishness on her part, because she didn't want to die.

There was a lot of grammar mistakes in this one as well as some character reference mistakes. Eye color should be consistent throughout the book, not swapping every so often from blue to green.

And I don't know why people do it, but heavy romance in the middle of a fight just doesn't work, no matter how much you want to glamorize the scene. In reality, people would die because they are too distracted.

For my clean readers:
Violence, language(including 2 F-words), excessive and overly descriptive romance, to the point you have to skip many, many scenes.

Okay well. not surprising it was just okay. She annoyed me a lot in this one. I hate whiny women and she turned into one. I thought she was a big bad ass angel didn't seem like it in this one. I'm just bored more then entertained. Unfortunately I'm bowing out of this series. It's not badly written or anything it's just not doing anything for me.

Special thanks to Hanna Peach for gifting me with her wonderful books for free to review.

Angelsong picks up where it was left off. With Israel in a coma - dying - from the demon poison and Alyx trying to save him. I thought that this twist to the story brought out more of Alyx's vulnerable side and it was really interesting and engaging to read. And I must say that I found the third book as equally as AWESOME as the second. :)

Now I am a person who doesn't mind love triangles at all. I really don't mind them as long as they are done well and the MC doesn't bitch or give me a headache and starts whining and complaining CONSTANTLY about who they should choose and then the whole story centers just in that.
Ms. Peach was very creative with this in her book and it worked nicely. Even though I'm a "Team Alyx&Israel 4eva" person. :) But she had very good reason to make it a love triangle and like the rest of her books, it had everything really well thought out and planned to execute perfectly. And if you really think about it from my weird, slightly distorted point of view; it wasn't really even a "love-triangle" a majority of the time cause of her not remembering the love and passion she had for Israel.

So that worked well, especially cause we got to find out more about Jordan and how ama-zing he is. Now I'm starting to reconsider this "Team Alyx&Israel 4eva" thing. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA... O_O no but seriously, Jordan is as hot and awesome as Israel. And for a second there towards the end of the book I thought that Jordan would have been killed by a Darkened - not cool Hanna Peach for that scare - but you are forgiven for writing Jordan they way he is.
:| Wow... Jordan really has made an impact on me. Making me think "Israel who?".
Oh and the speech near the end of the book were Jordan declares his love for Alyx... I melted in my seat. One more time - "Israel who...?" when Jordan's in the picture.
And then when she told him "I hate you" and he flinched, that was when I knew my heart would never be right again. Okay now my review has just derailed a little. *Ahem*.
So... Israel... (yaaayyy for that ending). I am super duper excited to read his reaction at what Alyx did to save him and the deal she made - you know :| cause of my weirdness about main MCs fighting/arguing. ;) Also what will happen with all the feels between Jordan, Alyx & Israel?? Let's see how creative Hanna Peach gets with that storyline. >=) But I am a thousand-percent sure she WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!! (No pressure :D).

I am looking forward to getting my greedy paws on the fourth book and how it all just works out. People you really really really REALLY should get into this amazing series. It's refreshing, different, unique in its own way, beautifully written and it just hooks you in and won't let go even well after you have finished the book. Ms. Peach is an author to look out for in the near future. She's great at what she does and it's authors like her who make me feel all warm and fuzzy and good on the inside when I curl up with a good - no a GREAT - book. :)

Thanks again Hanna Peach for the books and happy reading to you all. :D

P.S - I'm not comparing books or anything, but am I the only person who thought Alyx, Israel & Jordan reminded me of the characters Alex, Aiden & Seth from Jennifer L. Armentrout's Covenant series.

Let me begin by saying Angelsong written by the talented Hanna Peach is an awesome read. Please read the first two books of the Dark Angel series prior to digesting this magnificent, nail biter Angelsong!!

Angelsong what a glorious sound to the heart, mind and soul. Nothing can be sweeter than the musical and magic when two souls meet and fall in love. Angelsong gave me many memories to embrace especially the precious sensations of devotion.

Ms. Peach's writing style sprouts with excitement, adventure, suspense, sensuality and strong main characters whom I could not resist falling in love with. The lyrical flow of the sentence structures and the descriptions of characters, settings and their emotions created such vivid mental pictures. These awesome visuals titillates the readers' sense of imagery that is astoundingly orchestrated by Ms. Peach and her heavenly imagination and keyboard. In my honest opinion the creation of the Dark Angel series is magnificent and gets better and more exciting with each new installment. The Dark Angel books must be read in order to experience the depth, rich complexities of Ms. Peach's characters and their personas. Angelsong strikes a magical hymn that resides in the magical life of believing and its power, and wonder. Belief and the reactions of faith have powers that can alter things on this earthly realm as well as on the spiritual realm.

In this segment of the Dark Angel series, Alyx kicks butt fearlessly in order to save the soul she is guarding. She will go to Hell, Purgatory and beyond to do whatever is necessary for Israel's survival. I love the manner in which Ms. Peach develops the warrior energy, complex problem solving strategies in Alyx. She made her the strongest woman I would want on my team. Alyx woman is BADD.

Jordan is a man who loves a woman but has been afraid to expose himself emotionally to anyone. He is
a hero to die envelop oneself around in his strong, massive, muscular body. Hmmm, whew Ms. Peach you have outdone yourself on conjuring up this man. (May I have his number?) oops my Bad. :-)

Israel, a being of many dimensions and I would be honored to guard him as Alyx did throughout Angelsong.

I want to get this review brief as to not give away any of this robust, fantasy/adventure.
Ms. Peach has prepared a bountiful feast through Angelsong for your delight but it can only be fully appreciated if you have read the first two books. Angelsong is an experience of a full body, rich, hardy, tender feast skillfully prepared by Ms. Peach for your enjoyment. After devouring this high diving, nail biter of a read I can not wait for the next installment of a story of love, truth, determination and lust.

Once again, Ms. Peach you have supplied me with numerous pleasure filled moments which I will cherish. Your message spoke volumes to my mind, heart and soul. Angelsong is definitely a 5 star narrative.
Ms. Peach, I relished and savored every single second I spent inside your vivid imagination through Angelsong.

Oh. My. God!!!!!! So just like with book two I thought this installment couldn't live up to the last, but it did and then some! I just don't even know where to start. How bout the beginning...

Angelsong book three of the Dark Angel series by Hanna Peach picks up right where Angelstone left off. Israel is lying on his death bed after being poisoned from a knife wound. It is up to Alyx to save him. She turns to Jordan for help. Step one of their plan is to save Mayrekk. He is the only one they believe that will know how to save Israel. Step two is to break in to Urielos and steal the Threads of Dark (ominous right?). But can they do it in time?

So 4% into the book, Alyx is having a complete meltdown because she feels the weight of the world on her shoulders. Israel is dying, Mini was kidnapped, Aradale was destroyed, Ky is dead.....while she sobs in a tunnel off the Saint's Revenge (yep the pirates are back...yay!!) a woman appears to her and says "Just let go." So she does and the pain and weight is gone or at least partially.........WTH! Stupid Memory Thief! She took Alyx's memory of falling in love with Israel.......which leads us to one of the main plot points of this story.....Alyx and Jordan.

In book two I could sense a love triangle coming on and I resented it. I loved what the author had created between Alyx and Israel. I felt it was soul deep. But then with her love for Israel out of the picture, we see Alyx fall in love with Jordan and with a few exclusive Jordan POVs we see just how deeply he cares for her.
She was falling for him. He was the sun that warmed these deepest spaces in her soul, her empty Sahara. This desert had been cold before him and would be cold without him.
I am so team Jordan! Their friendship slowly developing into more just stole my heart completely and then ugh the heartbreak at the end when both realize what has happened! I actually teared up for both of them.

There were so many twists and turns in this plot that I don't even know where to begin without spoiling it for you! Alyx and Vix travel to China and meet the Elder there who tells them about the Threads of Dark and how to find them. Then Jordan, Vix, and Alyx stage a rescue mission for Mayrekk who is on death's door. And finally Jordan and Alyx go to Urielos and break into the archives to steal the Threads of Dark. I think my favorite scenes come from that last adventure. So detailed and so emotionally ridden as Alyx confronts her feelings for Jordan and tries to stay focused on the task at hand.

Another cliff hanger......I might just kill over from anxiety waiting for book four! If you enjoy angel and demon fantasy books, you will enjoy this series. It's not your typical mythology and the author does an amazing job with world-building and having such believable characters. Can't wait for the next book!

I received a copy of this ebook from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Alyx is facing overwhelming odds yet again in this third book of the Dark Angel series. Israel’s fate, as well as the Free Thinkers, rest solely on her shoulders to stop the prophecy. Alyx is grief stricken as Israel lies dying from a poisoned knife wound intended for Adere. The plot takes an unexpected twist early in the story that allows Alyx to fully concentrate on all the tasks at hand without distraction. This allows the story to move fast and furious as Alyx and Jordon proceed to Michaelea to locate and free Mayrekk, who hopefully knows how to cure Israel of the demon poison that is slowly killing him. Before they even have time to mentally process all the events in Michaelea they are off to locate a secret chamber in Urielos to retrieve the scroll of the Threads of Dark.

The elements of this story are complex and multi-layered. The action and fight scenes are tense and well-choreographed. Secondary characters are brought more fully into focus, which adds more dimension to the story. However, the spotlight is directed towards the relationship developing between Alyx and Jordon. They are both learning to depend on and trust each other as their shields to protect their hearts begin to crumble. As obstacles rise during their mission, it is evident that their strengths lie in different areas and they are stronger working together. The dialogue, as they verbally spar, is realistic and entertaining. Ms. Peach has developed quite a love triangle and I am not sure who I want Alyx to end up with at this point. There is no way Alyx can ignore the love she feels for Jordon now that he has bared his soul to her and she is forever bound to Israel as his guardian. Israel was raised by humans, he sees it as his job to protect Alyx, because he loves her deeply. Alyx was raised to be a warrior and her duty to protect comes first, even while she is torn between two very different lovers. I must also add there is a hell-of-a cliffhanger at the end of this book as Alyx goes to extreme measures to save Israel.

FYI: This is book 3 in the Dark Angel series, these stories build upon one another so it is important to read Angelfire and Angelstone first.
Format/Typo Issues: I noted a small number of minor proofing issues.

*I received this ARC from the author via Lovers of Paranormal Book Club on GoodReads*

Since this an ARC, I will speak nothing of the errors I may have or may not have found within this work.
Angelsong picks up exactly where Angelstone left off, Israel is very close to death due to the demon poisoned blade he took to the back for Adere. Alyx has so many conflicting emotions, but she is still the same Saraphelle, who thinks she has to do everything by herself without any help from those who would do anything to have the chance to prove themselves to her.
Michael plays a small role in this book, the demons barely have any role. The book mainly focuses on Alyx and Jordan and trying to get the things needed to cure Israel before he dies. Of course Alyx has yet to tell anyone that Israel being kept alive has to do with much more than her love for him, since well, if Israel dies, Alyx dies. Mayrekk plays a good role in this book and it was nice to see him again, the silly old man is always a pleasure.
As per Angelfire and Angelstone, Angelsong leaves the reader wanting more and the story comes to an abrupt end. Unfortunately, Angelblood doesn't release until next year so we're all pretty much screwed until then!
As with the others, I recommend this book to anyone who loves Urban Fantasy and the ultimate battle between good and evil. There are some interesting things to be learned in this book though that will have the reader slack jawed for a minute or two.
I give this book 5 of 5 paws

I love this series and I love Alyx and somewhere along the way I found myself loving Jordan too. Hanna Peach created a believable love triangle in this book that was a little different to ones I have read in any other book.

What would happen if your memories of loving someone were taken away?

The weight of the world rests on Alyx's shoulders. The man she loves, Israel, is dying from demon poison and the Seraphim communities are being attacked and those she loves are being killed. Its all becoming too much and while she is distracted by her fear and helplessness, her memories of loving Israel are stolen. At first, it helps her to make tough decisions, to get up off the floor and take dangerous risks in her search for a cure....but it also opens the door to other feelings for another person.

Jordan has always cared for Alyx, always wanted her and now Alyx is noticing him. Without her memories she is seeing him clearly. Their feelings for each other are believable and Alyx gets from him the opposite of what Israel offered. Where Israel longed to be the one that protected Alyx, longed to be the strong one, the hero, Jordan understands her strength and trusts it. He doesn't hold her back but encourages her. He never judges her or berates her. They work well together as a team in combat and intelligence during the Games they had to work through to find a mysterious book called the 'Thread of Dark' (Which BTW were some of my favourite scenes in the whole book and loved watching the two of them work together and learn each others strengths and weaknesses).

At first I was like, noooooooo Alyx, you love Israel but I could understand what Jordan gave her and why she could fall for him if Israel had never been in the picture. They make sense, probably more than her and Israel....but I LOVE ISRAEL!!! I love the complication Hanna Peach has thrown in to their lives. Its so juicy.

And that Cliffhanger......really??? really?? I need book 4! I have a feeling its going to be fast paced...Alyx is on a serious time limit....and how is she going to deal with her little love issues??? can't wait!!

What can I say but wow!! The previous books were great, but I loved Angelsong, so much so, that I would say that it is my favourite!! I was immersed into the gripping, action packed storyline from start to finish, and I just couldn’t pull myself away from it.

Alyx and Jordan are on a mission to save Isaiah by rescuing Mayrekk from Michael. They face a lot of obstacles on the way and do so with banter and humour, but they are constantly looking out for one another. The connection that they already have strengthens and at times you could cut the sexual tension with a knife. Don’t get me wrong… Isaiah is Alyx’s priority, but something happened to her that shifts her thinking (which I won’t tell you about), so that she can get the job done and I think it was a very well planned idea on the authors’ part. Jordan I absolutely adore! My heart goes out to him and he says some of the sweetest things in this book. There is so much I want to say about it, but they would be spoilers for sure!!

Now even with all this action, there are a number of tests thrown in for Alyx and Jordan which I found exciting. They were do-or-die scenarios and I thought the author did a remarkable job of plotting it all together. They were clever and well thought out games that I enjoyed watching, as the characters put their trust into one another to figure it all out.

Angelsong was remarkable… to put it simply. It has everything I love from the paranormal world: angels, demons and mortals. We travel to numerous destinations and into the dreamscape. A lot of the things that we have learned from previous books are rolled into this book too, and even though it has been a little while since I have read the other books in the series, I was able to grasp everything with ease. In my opinion, I think that Hanna has grown so much as an author, through Angelfire, Angelstone and Angelsong. Although… she always leaves the book open so I want more!! I can’t wait to get my hands on Angelblood next year, to see where things go now…

I got this book from the author free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.
Firstly I would like to thank Hanna Peach, author of Angel Stone for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this fabulous book.
In this third book we find Alyx struggling to save Israel who is slipping with every passing second from demon poison. Alyx knows the solution but the path of reaching is can be the path to her death once and for all but she is Israel’s guardian and has to protect him or die in doing so. She knows that Mayrekk knows the cure but she is kept imprisoned by Michael in Michaelea and Alyx has to retrieve the cure from the Threads of dark which is sealed within a secret chamber deep under the Archives of Urielos, a Seraphim city clinging to cliffs somewhere along the coast of Italy. Even if she finds a way in can she be able to pass through the deadly traps and ancient riddles? Will she be able to get the cure and save Meyrekk before Israel dies?
This third book has all the elements that make a paranormal romance book an intriguing one and the action scenes are deadly and you’ll kept at the edge of your seat throughout the story. More mysteries, more traps and the life of her love is on stake here. This gripping read made me read till I couldn’t focus my eyes anymore but I kept reading just to know the end. It’s great people! The true essence of pure love and the sacrifice for it touched my soul and the author’s skilled and magical words brought the story to life and made me believe in it. The characters are great and the plot was well planned out and was presented perfectly to the readers. A great and must read for ya all.
I got this book from the Lovers of Paranormal Group of Goodreads under the Read to Review Scheme!

This is my favorite book in the series so far, so many wonderful elements brought together!

First, I really enjoy the characterization of Alyx. She's learning, with Jordan's help, how to rely on and trust people. Their journey together through the dreamscape was well done (reminded me of video games in a good way) and exciting.

I also liked the chance to see how Jordan and Alyx's relationship would develop if she didn't have that strange bond with Israel. Like many YA books, the love story at first seemed to be based on just extreme physical attraction and that's partially why I'm not a fan of Alyx\Israel (they always seem to be fighting or she's physically attracted to him or the "bond") but with Jordan it seems like they are friends\fellow warriors\and yes the physical attraction is magnetic and steamy but they help each other become better people. So obviously #TeamAlyx+Jordan even though that doesn't seem like the OTP.

Other things I loved: the memory subplot and how it tied into something introduced from the last book (hope it comes in again with another subplot), just the missions to retrieve items from the Angel cities and the adventure involved, and the ever increasing mystery about what's really going on behind the scenes.

The author continues to build her enthralling world and lead us deep into the heart of the conflict. I'm really excited to read the rest of the series!

I have been stalking the author for any announcement of when this book was coming out and I admit to doing a happy dance (in my head of course) when I saw this was due out!

The book starts off straight after the events of Angelstone with Israel laying in a coma due to the demon poison in his system. This is my one big gripe with the book, Israel barely features in the book, his only appearance is while he is in the kind of dreamscape his conscience is in. However on the plus side we get a whole load of the yummy Seraphim Jordan!

Alyx is on a quest to find the cure for the demon poison that is slowly killing Israel and during this quest she will have to rescue Mayrekk from Michaelea, the Seraphim city, and recover The Threads of Darkness.

At this point I won't say too much more on the content of the plot apart from to say if anyone loves puzzles such as can be found in the Professor Layton series of games you'll love the recovery of The Threads of Darkness, I know I did!

I was reading this praying that Ms Peach did not leave us with another ending such as in Angelstone, alas she did leaving me dying to find out what will happen next. What will Israel do when he finds out? (you'll have to read it to know what I mean!), will Alyx succeed in the 7 days she has? will Symon use the pick and what will the repercussions be if he does!? If this doesn't get you wondering what happens in the story . . . . !!

I was given this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.

I have to say that Angelsong was the best of the 3 books which was a surprise to me.

It was absolutely full of action, drama and emotion. I found myself torn between the two relatIonships that develop between Alyx and Israel and Alyx and Jordan. The author has an intense imagination with a beautiful ability to relay the story in a descriptive way. I was pleasantly surprised the whole way through this book that someone could invent such imaginative story lines and also describe them in such a way that you feel like you are there with the characters.

I thought this was the last book in the series until I got to the last chapter and realised there has got to be more! Yay for that. I am so excited that there is a 4th book coming out soon.

There were some grammatical errors in the book. I came across a few sentences where 2 words were repeated etc. however this did not detract from the story. I merely point it out for the authors benefit in case she would like to have the book reviewed grammatically.

I highly recommend this book, but more essential is that you absolutely have to read the whole series as there is so much information you need right from the beginning to get the story right in your mind.

This series in my opinion is up on that list that includes the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling and the Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Claire.

I look forward to more books from Hanna Peach. She is an author to keep your eye on if you are looking for exceptional books to read.

You would think by now that you have most of this series figured out, but no. Hanna is extremely skilled and keeping the reader focused and reading. She has an incredible imagination coming up with twists and turns that are not expected. And the beauty of it all, they make sense and really complete the story keeping the readers on their toes.

Alyx continues to develop and is finally starting to be likable again. I admit for a while I was not a fan of hers, but really not her fault. It was due to something happening to her that was out of her control (sorry I don't do spoilers), but finally she is coming to her senses again.

Israel is still by far my favorite character in this series, but there are a few more that get more and more center stage time. The characters really make a nice complete picture with villains to match.

I really like Hanna's writing style and love how she knows how to pace properly. No rushing the readers nor dragging things out either, just perfect. As usual she leaves the book with a cliff hanger, but since I am committed to reading the entire series that really doesn't bother me at all.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the “Lovers of Paranormal” Group on Goodreads.com

This book, by far, has been my favorite of the series. The focus is more on Alyx and Jordan and how they work together to find the cure. They are a great team as they seem to understand each other more then Israel understood Alyx.

It's fascinating how the author constructed this story. The detail and imagination, the imagery
and the symbolism's, the attention to the smallest detail.

The games in the arena were so precise and specific that I couldn't help but see the mental images as the games progressed.

Alyx has proven time and again how intelligent she is. She is an amazing character and a critical thinker. Her strategic skills are impressive.

There are some twists in this book that I did not see coming and I was very much surprised, this makes for a great story when you can't see what's coming.

This is a great book and I highly recommend it for both adults and YA readers.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review thru Lovers of Paranormal group. There's plenty of reviews to tell you what this series is about so... I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this series and I'm off to book 4. I love how Hanna Peach picks up right where Angelstone left off. I'm so in love with the characters its like you there with them and I'm addicted to this series cant wait till Angeldust is available!
“Jordan kicked aside off the ground. His hip came into contact with her side, gently knocking her off her balance. “Hey,” she cried out, regaining her step. Jordan grinned at her over his shoulder as he continued across the room. “Whoops.” Alyx launched off a table at him. He jerked forward as she kicked off his back and flipped over his head. “Whoops,” she yelled back as she hit the ground and kept running. She could hear him laughing.” -Hanna Peach

Angelsong is the best book in the series so far. Answers are finally starting to surface and things are kinda coming together. The tension and mystery are majorly increased because of the prophecy looming over everyone. Continuing from the last book Israel is still in danger and sick. Alyx has to save him, but by doing so she loses something special. She also has to face a whole new set of challenges, literally, and save more people from the bad guys. There's still a love triangle going on between Alyx, Israel and Jordan. In the previous books Jordan was kinda a flake, but he definitely stepped up his game in this installment. I'm just gonna say it, I'm not a fan of Israel, however he definitely is changing as the series progresses. Alyx stays consistently the same for the most part, cept for when she's swooning. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.

Un-Put-Downable!
Wow! This is the third book in the Dark Angel Series and I swear the story just keeps getting better and better! Alyx is ever growing throughout the series so far and this one is no different, without being hampered by her restriction of before makes it even better. I really hadn't liked Jordan before, but in this story we get to know him better and darn it the bugger is growing on me. but I still have my agenda for Alyx and Israel, I just can't help myself. This book is even more intense as so much is riding on Alyx, but she rises to the occasion with a little help of a little bit of memory stealing. This book as the previous is action packed, and this one is also emotional and offers up unexpected twists. I definitely recommend this book but would caution that it is much better to start at the beginning of the series to get the full impact and understanding of everything going on. I was given a complimentary copy of this book for an honest review.

Blimey!!
I loved this instalment of the series!! Hanna I find is a very talented author and so far love her work.
This book had me hook line & sinker. I found Angel song full of action and suspense from the start.

My heart bleeds for Alyx, She is so torn in this book I don't envy her decision when it comes to the loves in her life!
Once again the author excelled herself with the characters, they just get better and better as the books go on. I have a feeling some who were not in this installment as much are going to play fundamental parts in the book to follow!
I have found the series so far very difficult to put down and has Consumed most of my spare time.

I am very much looking forward to the next Installment!!
Thanks

This has become one of my favorite series and it just keeps getting better.

The romance development between Jordan and Alyx well I just can't get my head on it. Alyx decisions regarding her (love) life is well a difficult decision. But I'm rooting for Israel. Why did her memory have to be taken. I was screaming nooo!!! All the way in my head when that happened. Not that I have anything against Jordan but I still like Israel.

I was really hoping that I would have the ending I'd want but it's not still I can't wait for book 4. Luckily I read this series just this month because I don't have to wait long for the next one.

This series started off in a passable way but I just got very bored with it. I tried to make myself finish this book thinking it was a trilogy and I might as well find out how it ended, then I discovered that there are actually 5 books and I lost the will to read any more.
