I've always been an avid reader, practically ever since I could first pick up a book. I've also been fascinated by paranormal themes for pretty much all my life. If a book had witches, vampires, ghosts, time travel, etc., I wanted to read it.
I developed my love for the romance genre in general and paranormal romance in particular when I started "borrowing" the books off my mom's shelf with supernatural elements in them. She was a voracious reader of romance, so naturally, they were all paranormal romances. I fell in love with them. Damn Jay Castle was killing me with this book! All the freaking pining was breaking my heart! And it wasn't just one sided, no. All three of these men were desperately in love with one another, yet they all clung to their assumptions and hurt for over 2 years. Hunter and Lee never let Daniel explain what happened the day their lives changed forever; the day they went from being Hunter Lee Jameson to Hunter and Lee.

Hunter and Lee were not the only two whose whole world was turned upside down by their split. Daniel's self esteem took a brutal hit and the past 2 years have been spent with him living a sort of half life. The guilt for their past and hurting the person he loved has eaten him alive. Hunter and Lee have stewed in their anger and hurt for the same length of time, but it's Lee who finally decides that it's time they find out the answer as to WHY and what truly happened on that fateful day.
It really broke my heart that Hunter and Lee let Daniel drown in his misery over everything that happened. They'd been best friends and then lovers for many years. To automatically assume the worst of someone you loved is a huge slap in the face. I can understand needing time to accept being a werewolf and the paranormal world in general, but 2 years is a really long time. I was so happy when the truth finally came out and the three of them could finally start working on the HEA they deserved from the start.

Jay did it again! This book had me all up in my feels the whole time. My heart broke for Daniel, Lee and Hunter. They were put in such a terrible situation that was devastating for all involved.
Daniel had to live with the loss of the men he loved because of his mistake. They wouldn’t listen to his explanation of what happened and had to endure years of their hate and rejection yet he never stopped loving them.
He was willing to sacrifice himself to make things right. He owed Hunter and Lee the right to have their lives back even if that meant losing them for good. But they wouldn’t give him the chance to make up for his mistakes. Hunter was set on never forgiving him and Lee only followed his twin’s lead.
When the pack is faced with a dangerous foe, the three of them are forced to work together to stop it. After Daniel saved the pack in the previous book, his magic had become more powerful and the pack once again needed his help.
Being in such close proximity, made the twins want to know what really happened the night their lives changed forever. They thought they were finally ready to listen to Daniel’s explanation, but when the truth comes out, the twins realize how unfair they had been to Daniel.
They finally learned why Daniel couldn’t tell them the truth about himself. That all this time, he had been trying to fix his mistake and what it cost him. And how much their rejection had hurt him.
Once Daniel tells them everything, they start to heal from all the pain they’ve gone through these last few years. Understanding why Daniel did what did, made the twins see him in a different light. Acknowledging they were still in love with Daniel and that they were mates was a lot easier now that the truth was revealed. Or at least parts of it.
There was still a major truth Daniel was hiding from them and that one threatened to undo all the progress they’ve made. Especially when Daniel’s brother discovers what it is.
Hunter and Lee were devastated to hear that Daniel had found a way to fix them and was planning on doing so. They once again felt betrayed by Daniel, especially since he promised not to lie again.
When Daniel’s family tries to force the reversal on Hunter and Lee, Daniel stands up against them even knowing how powerful they are and how much they can hurt him. But he’s tired of being belittled by them and used against his will, he rather die than go back with them.
But Daniel wasn’t alone. The pack had his back and together they help him defeat his family and gain his freedom. He no longer has to worry that they’ll come after him and can finally put it all behind him.
With the threat over and the truth revealed, Daniel, Hunter and Lee can finally be together as mates without any secrets between them. Daniel might have thought that making them whole again was what the twins wanted but he couldn’t have been more wrong. Hunter and Lee were the best part of each other and he loved them both.

I’m really loving this series. I hope we get a lot of books because these two have been amazing so far. We need more 😁

Binding His Fate Mates is the second book in Jay Castle’s Wolves of Crescent Springs series, a spin-off of Blood Bonded Mates. Hunter, Lee, and Daniel were side characters in the first book, and there was already so much tension between them that it was obvious there had to be a story behind it. In the first book we get some answers about what happened, but this one finally lets us see the three of them deal with everything that came after. But I definitely think it works best if you’ve read the previous books and already know the characters and their history.
These three though... these three have spent years loving each other while refusing to actually talk about what happened, and honestly, there were moments when I wanted to shake them. Badly! 😤
But Daniel especially broke my heart. He has spent years carrying so much guilt and blaming himself for everything. It’s hard to read, especially when it becomes clear just how much he has been hurting while Hunter and Lee have been dealing with their own anger and resentment.
And then there are Hunter and Lee. I understood why they were angry, but I also had a hard time with how long they refused to hear Daniel out. These three have such a deep history together, so watching them cling to their assumptions for years was frustrating as h3ll.
What I did love was that the book didn't make everything magically better once the truth came out. There is a lot of hurt to work through, and forgiveness takes time. They were friends, then lovers, and even after everything fell apart, that bond never really disappeared. Seeing them finally start to understand each other again was probably my favourite part of the book because, beneath all the resentment, it’s obvious that their love never really went away. ❤️
I also really liked seeing Daniel finally stand up for himself, especially when it came to his family. Just FYI, his family is awful! I was so proud of him when he finally pushed back against them! 🙌
The supernatural conflict stayed more in the background this time, and I actually preferred it that way. After so much emotional turmoil between these three, I wanted to focus on their relationship and on them figuring out what comes next.
And of course, I loved the pack and the found-family vibes they bring! 🥰 It’s comforting to know Daniel isn't completely alone, even when he feels like he is. 🥰
That said, the emotional conflict gets a tiny bit repetitive. There are only so many times I can watch characters suffer because they won't communicate before I start screaming in frustration. 🙄😅 The story really leans into the hurt before allowing these characters to start healing.
This was an angsty and emotional read where a romance built on years of history, love, and an impressive amount of unresolved trauma. Seriously, there is a lot to unpack there. 😳 I definitely had moments of frustration, but I also cared about these three enough that I desperately wanted them to figure things out. Which they did... just prepare yourself for the pining. 😂

What a painful beginning. Granted, their beginning had been painful in the past two books. The angst and the guilt and the pining and the existential crises and the heartbreak and the guilt (sooo much guilt). It was all a ball of pain trying to smother (and be smothered by) fate and love and an eternal connection forged by friendship and stars picked out of the sky like apples.
Their love was painful but it was also beautiful. Childhood friends to lovers (ignoring the to enemies to lovers part). Intense need for the other(s) to be safe and happy. Support from inside their relationship but also undying support from within their found family.
Not to mention the, you know, monster hunting people...again. This one wasn't as prominent in the plot as the previous two books, but I think their relationship did deserve more of a page-presence, after years of all of that pain. Then again, was the monster the Mara or Daniel's family?

I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a good addition to the Wolves of Crescent Springs Series, set in the same world as Jay’s Blood Bonded Mates Series. Wow, Daniel, Hunter & Lee have a lot to work through to get their happily ever after but it’s totally worth the wait. All I can say is that I don’t blame the twins for their anger but I do think that they were a*seholes and should’ve let Daniel explain why he never told them, when they were one person before Daniel split them when they accidentally broke his circle while he was doing a powerful forbidden spell trying to get enough magic to break the magically binding that his family all put on him so he could never tell a mundane, especially Hunter about himself and the supernatural world.
It definitely would’ve saved a lot of hurt and anger but oh well they eventually get there. All I can say is that Daniel’s family are complete and utter power hungry a*seholes who never deserved him whereas they thought Daniel was less than because his magic wasn’t as powerful as theirs, therefore he’s no use to them. The only redeeming one is his sister so I’m glad that they got to reconnect. I enjoyed being able to catch up with some of the characters that we’ve gotten to know and fall in love with during the Blood Bonded Seres. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series as it continues, as well as more books by Jay Castle in the future. I’d recommend this book, series, universe and author to others.

Daniel and his mates didn't disappoint
I love Jay's writing. I've been with him from the start and eagerly await each new couple, and now we're treated to grumpy Hunter, measured Lee and anguished Daniel.
Their story is unique, as far as I'm concerned, as I've never read this twist before. If you don't know what's coming, prepare to be surprised. Daniel, Hunter and Lee's history has brought them to where they are now, part of the Crescent Springs Pack but estranged from each other. Well, Hunter and Daniel are. Lee is a different kettle of fish entirely.
My heart went out to Daniel. His life before was pretty awful, and now it is even worse. Shut out completely by his best friends, he threws himself into his work and has little else in his life.
The three of them eventually talk, long overdue, and become close again. I love Lee, who is more open and thoughtful than Hunter, who spends a lot of the book in a rage that he cen't get past. Once they reconcile, he still has a few moments when I wanted to smack him upside the head, but that rings true to his character so I couldn't complain too much.
They have to fight supernatural abominations but, more frightening, his family too. Nasty bits of work who are the real villains of the piece, apart from Daniel's sister who grows a backbone at the same time as Daniel finally stands up for himself to them.
I don't know what's coming next but I'm definitely here for it.

I'm officially in love with this paranormal romance series. Hunter, Lee, and Daniel showed up together at Crescent Springs pack. Hunter and Lee were close to death and Daniel (a witch) begging for them to be turned into wolves. That was 3 years ago, and the pack still knows virtually nothing about how they got to that state and what their past relationship was. Daniel didn't mean to split the love of his life, Hunter Lee Jameson, into two separate people but it happened anyway. And the men Hunter Lee became have never forgiven him for splitting them and turning them into werewolves. Hunter and Lee know they loved Daniel before, but they are each having a difficult time letting go of the rage and hurt. They are then tasked with working together to help the pack and truths are uncovered. This was a really unique take on the fated mates trope. I liked the level of angst in the story with all of them holding on to so much emotion. When it finally gets released, it's really satisfying and I like the three of them together. I did tear up in quite a few places, especially the parts where they are really truthful with each other about things that happened in their pasts. This was a great read and I recommend the whole series.

We have two storylines: on one hand, the pack has to deal with a magical consequence of having accepted Daniel into the pack, and, as expected, there’s a monster attacking the townspeople.

Binding His Fated Mates is the second book in the Wolves of Crescent Springs series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. Be aware this is an MMM story so f that's not your thing this book might not be for you. This is the story of Hunter a werewolf, Lee a werewolf, and Daniel a warlock. I was so happy to get back to the Crescent Springs pack. This one was filled with emotional trauma that had to be dealt with. I loved the guys and watching them work through their issues to build a relationship. I loved learning more about each of the guys backgrounds. This book has two storylines the romance and what's happening with the Crescent Springs pack. I loved the characters and world building that went into this series. I know I will be reading this book again because I don't want to miss anything. There is plenty of action, drama, spicy bits, and love to keep, you reading. I love Jay Castle's writing style and the way he brings the story to life. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Binding His Fated Mates Arc Review
Usually I can get sucked out of a book with more than two main characters or love interests. But this one really held my attention all the way through. And I really got into the little darker elements. I don't know if it's just my mood or what, because before I got this ARC I was trying to read a dark romance and I just couldn't get into it like I could with this book.
I loved Hunter & Lee, but Daniel was hard to like. Hunter was angry and trying to protect himself, which I 100% understood. Lee, he reminds me of everything Daniel’s character was trying to be but couldn’t really marinate for me. I mean I absolutely loved them all together it’s just Daniel was 100% too self-sacrificing for me. I just don't know if it's because of the character or if it's a problem with me.
But all of them together kind of makes up for Daniel alone. And I really love the author's work, so I'm hardly going to be able to wait for the next book in this series.

I'm a fan of Jay Castle's vampire series and hadn't initially realised he was expanding into werewolves in the same world he'd created, but I'm glad he did!
Without giving spoilers, I love the way Castle makes his characters flawed and that they make mistakes but that they aren't 'unforgivable'. That may seem obvious, but I've read books before where a protagonist forgave someone who had done something that felt too awful for me and I became frustrated that they forgave the person or seemed to do so too quickly.
Daniel, Hunter, and Lee's story was satisfying in how it wrapped things up and made me happy.
The cast of characters, even side characters, are unique and interesting in their own right and I'm already excited for the next installment.
Maybe I can be an Arc reader for that one too, if it means I get an early copy! 🤞

I’ve been waiting to get the scoop on Hunter, Lee, and Daniel and it did not disappoint! These three have really been through it. Unfortunately Daniel doesn’t have the best family and that’s where all the trouble actually starts. A couple years after they all end up in the pack, things all come to a head and they get things sorted. Definitely not the easiest of things but they do it. I love how these three feel so strongly about each other. The author pulls you into the story and makes you feel like you know these characters personally. So many wonderful characters and I love how they’re all there for each other! Such a wonderful story that I very much enjoyed and I definitely recommend! It kept me captivated! I can’t wait for Tamrand’s story next! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

Sadly I found it lacking. More focus was on smut and lust than really showing and giving up love and chemistry. It all felt very one sided as a story and strong lacking on connection and chemistry. The story felt rushed and i did not flow the way i had hoped to see. The characters just did not mash well for me and felt more pushed and lust over each other. It was dark and lifeless as it all developmented. Not a fan as this did not work as MMM very taboo at times and felt so much like a bunch of stories i have already read. It's so interesting that a lot of authors thing all gay/bi men need a threesome story, is so played out already with threesomes.

I should learn by now that Anything written by Jay Castle should be read over a weekend and not when I need to work. As soon as I started Binding his Fated Mates I was sucked in. To learn the truth of Hunter and Lee and who they were to Daniel abs how they came to be there was an interesting tale. But how they all handled it two years after the fact and how this story grew was magical. The monsters that Jay comes up with put creative and interestingly woven with a love story you just can’t put down. Another fantastic story from an author who has become an auto purchase for me!!

4.5 stars ~ And the excitement kept on coming. Yes, there were more than a couple of predictable scenes which I was a smidge disappointed with, but the entirety of the plot, plus the characters, was amaze-balls. Truly. I thought the character development was wonderful. The monster portion was perfectly creepy, well thought out, and executed.
Above all, Daniel finally standing up to his family was beauty in motion. His found family, his real family had his back along with his mates. ❤️
