This book made me feel happy and motivated because I heard. Neymar was a a player that motivated millions to keep going with their football dream. He lived in a rural place with very little money and an ugly house. I felt very passionate because I play soccer myself and I love the sport and whenever I hace a chance to read a story like this motivation one I do. It changed my perspective at how I look at life.

This marking period I read the book Neymar by Luca Caioli. This is a biography about the world famous Brazilian soccer player know as Neymar. Luca Caioli is the same author of the last book that I read, Cristiano Ronaldo: The obsession for perfection. He is a well know athletic writer and writes books about many different world famous athletes such as Messi, Fernando Torres, and Luis Suarez. Since I read his last book about Cristiano Ronaldo and I really liked his style of righting I thought that this book would be another fantastic read. Neymar is currently a 25 year old Brazilian man playing on arguably one of the best soccer clubs in the world, Barcelona. This book talks about his life and the many different things that he had to overcome and preserver through in order to get to the level that he is at now. I believe that this book is very similar to the Cristiano Book when you just read the book or look at the cover, but once you read the whole story then you see the differences. This book is written in chronological order progressing through out Neymar's life and touching on all of the important accomplishments of his childhood and up to know. It talks about some thing that many people would know. For example, the fact that he played up around 2 or more year older when he was a kid or the fact that he got his incredible dribbling skills from partaking in Futsol, an indoor form of soccer. I picked this book becuase I already knew the author from reading his books about Cristiano Ronaldo, also I am a fan of Neymar and I wanted to learn more about his past and before he became the world famous soccer star that he is today. It is also interesting to see the types of training that he did when he was around my age because then I can use my knowledge that I obtained through reading the book to help make me a better soccer player. Overall, I enjoyed this book, although sometimes it could get a bit confusing by jumping from event to event with a little transition. Also, due to the fact that he is from Brazil many of the names are hard to pronounce for me so every time I got up to some certain names it would take me an extra second to try and say it right. Overall, I would give this books a 8/10 and I would suggest it for all soccer players and fans of Neymar.

Puoliväliin asti täynnä tylsähköjä yksityiskohtia. Muuttuu mielenkiintoisammaksi Eurooppaan siirron myötä. Taitoja ja onnistumisia liiotellaan ja epäonnistumisia väheksytään. Kirja sisältää paljon yksityiskohtia ja vähemmän mitään syvällistä. Neymarin ura on alussa, kannattaa odottaa vielä 10-20 vuotta.

I thought that the book "Neymar" was truly a fantastic book on his life. I really enjoyed reading it because it really showed us how he started at the bottom and now he's reaching superstar status. This book gave me a chance to look into a soccer players life and see what type of hard work it takes to become a successful soccer player. Neymar truly gave it his all to become a superstar and be one of the highest paid Brazilian players ever. He had the chance to play for one of the biggest teams in Brazil. The teams name was Santos FC, he was a very exciting prospect when he played for them. This led to a bidding war between teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea and etc.

In the end he choose to sign for Barcelona and team up with Messi. He joined Barcelona in 2013 because he wanted to be one of the best to ever step foot on the soccer field. He has been really successful in Barcelona, he has won the La Liga, Champions League and many other trophies. He also had the chance to host the World Cup in his home land of Brazil, but ultimately they lost in the semifinal and Neymar did not play because he had a injury. Overall this was a great book to read.

When I was reading this book, I always had my phone near me, so I can check out some special moments on youtube, which were described in the book. It was very interesting to read the book like that. Honestly, I watched a lot of videos of Neymar Jr. lately and I must admit that he can handle the ball with his legs better than I can with my hands.
At some points the author wrote too much not very relevant stuff about other players, but the book in general was interesting and informative.
To sum up: it's better to play football than study. ;D

This is a great book! The author has astonishing facts about a man who has inspired millions of kids to play soccer Neymar Jr. Most of the reviews made a good point about how this book gives people joy when they read it because they feel happy about how Neymar's hard work has paid of. It gives us a lot of details about his childhood on how poor he was, and how he lived in bad conditions. But he never gave up hope and always supported his family throughout his life. Throughout his career Neymar has played with many great players like Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and many more. Those players have helped him learn the game and he has picked up many traits from them.

Neymar (Paperback)
by Luca Caioli

I first choose this book because Neymar(the main character of this book) was one of my favorite soccer players and I respected him as a "SOCCER PLAYER"
I thought reading this book would help me with soccer.
But I think the main focus of this book is not just soccer.
I was most impressed with Neymar's early life and childhood not just his career and life as a soccer superstar.
I really loved how the author wrote his life in this book.
I really enjoyed reading this book.
