I am a clinical psychologist and transactional analyst. Since 1965 I have studied, written, taught and lectured about the importance of, and relationship between, rational information and the emotions--especially love -- and how these two factors affect our personal power.

I love this book, it changed my viewpoint and my heart. I had some prior knowledge and benefit from TA, not sure if that helped me get the material better or maybe a confused time in my life also helped tune me into it. Removed many lifelong barriers and has become a foundation since first reading it in my late 30s

I feel this book had answers to some of my questions on human relationships. However, It is quite idealistic. The last chapter sums it all together. It is a book I plan to gift to all my dear ones.
