I have a couple of favourite locales when it comes to Paranormal Romance; New Orleans for obvious reasons, and Hell, because the fiery pit of torment just shouts ACTION, and I love me some good vs. evil battles. Another fun thing about this particular setting is that anything goes, and Felicity Heaton brought it with the Devil’s version of paradise along with the other not so pleasant aspects of the underworld. The odds of finding one’s soulmate in such a place are as likely as a snowball’s chance in yeah—Hell, and yet that’s exactly what happens to Lucifer & Nina.

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but Veiron, Erin & Dante do show up, so having some familiarity with HER DEMONIC ANGEL will make you appreciate their presence more, and it’ll be easier to get some of the inside jokes. Overall though, this installment works on its own, so if you want to skip straight to the prince of darkness’ story, go right ahead. And, I can’t say that I blame you because there’s definitely something sexy about a bad boy of biblical proportions going gaga over a woman.

One of the best elements of HER SINFUL ANGEL was getting the lowdown on the man himself. I’ve never really thought about Satan’s fall from his POV, but the author goes there while also tossing his one true love at him. By the end of this tale, you feel for the guy, you absolutely do. Nina did her thing well too; she has a tiny dark side to her which helps them connect on a basic level, and her ex was a total bonehead, so she’s done her time, and is entitled to her happy ending.

The plot arc was straight to the point yet effective. I think that I would have rolled my eyes at it had I read this novel a few years back; however it was just the thing that I needed at precisely the right moment. My book to mood ratio was dead on with this pick! Anyway, yes, it’s slightly corny, but sometimes you just NEED a shot of dreams-do-come-true while you’re lounging by the pool with your eReader, drinking a cold beer, and trying extremely hard to forget that tomorrow is Monday.

HER SINFUL ANGEL is sitting pretty at the very top of my HER ANGEL series scoreboard.

Her Sinful Angel is a nice bonus story in a series that I thought had already finished, it was actually really great to revisit this world and see a couple of the previous characters. It's a shame we didn't have the chance to catch up with all the couples but I actually liked how the story stuck closely to the main characters so I'm not going to complain about that. This story was previously published in the Dark and Damaged Box Set and is now available as a stand alone ebook.

I have to admit I never really saw Satan as a romance hero, especially not in a series where we've seen him do such horrible things, but in the last few books our Lucifer has started to show a softer side to him, especially where his daughter and grandson are concerned. I was very curious to see how Felicity Heaton would redeem him and I was actually pleasantly surprised that she didn't try to gloss over his past or the bad things he has done. Lucifer was betrayed and tricked into becoming a fallen angel, he is bitter because of this and he has made it his life's work to reek revenge on heaven's angels. We've seen before in this series that nothing is black and white and that both heaven and hell are made up of all sorts of grey areas and that definitely continues to be the case here. Lucifer certainly hasn't suddenly turned "good" just because he's met the woman of his dreams. He's still capable of committing atrocities but I was able to completely believe that he would never hurt Nina or his family.

Nina was an interesting character because she knew nothing of the supernatural until the day she was kidnapped by an angel and rescued by the devil. This is all very new to her and it takes her a while to accept what has happened to her but she is very loyal to those she cares about and she's smart enough to make decisions based on what she's seen rather than listen to what other people tell her. The romance does develop very quickly, as it has with the rest of the series, but somehow Felicity Heaton always manages to pull it off without making me feel uncomfortable. I found myself thoroughly enjoying Her Sinful Angel and kind of hoping that we're going to see more of Lucifer and all the other angels from this series.

Step into the world created by Ms Heaton where the fine lines drawn between Heaven and Hell seem to get more complicated with each book. Having survived a near Apocalypse you would expect things to quieten down for a while but no those original fallen still have one or two tricks up their sleeves and right now it's the Devil himself who they plan to trick!
Lucifer is having a really bad day and when that happens it's probably best to stay well out of his way as heads will roll ( or explode or whatever takes his fancy!). Mihail, the only angel who might have enough fire power to kill Lucifer has dumped an unconscious human female right outside Lucifers fortress. Now Lucifer is a wily chap and certainly no pushover but the temptation to discover just why the woman is there is one he cannot resist. Besides what could one weak mortal do to him and if she is a trap then the consequences for her will be severe. Nina, the female in question awakens with no idea where she is or how she got there but the beautiful male who offers her shelter is a conundrum as one moment he is caring and then the next a much darker side seems to appear. He is charming, charismatic and yet somehow a danger to Nina and she's determined not to let her life go to Hell again but is she too late!
Lucifer is the ultimate bad boy and yet here we are surprised by his vulnerability. As the original fallen angel he has suffered atrocities and yet somehow found the strength to rise up and claim his place as the much feared King of Hell. He has feelings for his daughter Erin ( who is a fabulous foul mouthed badass heroine) and is in awe of his grandson Dante. Yes it's fair to say that this book showcases his personal growth but he is not weak, no just another tortured hero that Ms Heaton so cruelly loves to play with. Giving him Nina as a heroine allows the reader to see his depths and at times it's quite sad learning just how trapped by his circumstances he really is . Nina for me was just a little too trusting far too soon but I think that's just what Lucifer really needed.
Ok now for the bad part, I really didn't connect much with the first half of the book because nothing really seemed to happen . Both main characters spent far too long being introspective and constantly seemed to be working things out in their heads. Yes self analysis is all very well but I just wanted something to happen. Luckily about half way through this story a fight ensues which is closely followed by a passionate scene and from this point in it felt much more like the type of book I normally associate with this author.
If you enjoy steamy romance with a hero who is more than a little messed up and want action then this series is a must read. Good versus evil but not always in the way we imagine. These books are imaginative, hot and full of twists and turns with characters you will love. A huge recommendation for paranormal lovers but to get the best do read in order starting with Her Dark Angel, you won't regret it!

Lucifer's story was a surprise to me since I had thought this series was finished with book 7. A happy surprise, mind you, because the poor guy has shown a little heart in previous books and deserved to not be rotting in hell on his own. Which isn't to say he's a good guy. He is the original fallen angel and his years ruling hell have left their mark on him.

But... he's also not all bad. His interactions with Erin and her son have shown us a slightly softer side of Lucifer and it was fun watching him fall for a fragile human woman in a big way.

And by "fun", I mean sad and a little heartbreaking. Occasionally with bloodshed. Not Nina's, because Lucifer's all about protecting her. Oh, you'll see.

As always, Felicity Heaton has given us a complex, tortured hero who has to work past some major roadblocks before he figures out the woman he's trying to push away is the one for him. Yep, Lucifer has some trust issues. Who saw that coming?

Enjoyable and sexy, with some fun cameos by previous characters. Erin's wrath over one of her father's actions was pretty epic. You don't mess with a mama bear when she had a cub to feed.

You know, that's a good rule of thumb no matter how you look at it.

Bottom line, I'm glad Lucifer found someone to make his reign a little less dreary. Even the king of Hell deserves some lovin', amirite?!?!

~ 4 Her Sinful Angel Stars ~

Her Sinful Angel is book eight in the Her Angel series by Felicity Heaton. I enjoyed going to Hell, learning about Lucifer, and seeing him as a romance hero. Her Sinful Angel is full of action, betrayal, & romance.

Lucifer is the king of Hell and a powerful warrior angel. We get the lowdown on Lucifer and by the end of this story, you feel for him. Nina, is a human; being used in Heaven’s games, but she does not know this. She has a sliver of dark insider her, which helped her to connect with Lucifer.

Both Lucifer and Nina have been betrayed, both have barriers around themselves, and they both try to keeping their emotions at bay. What each went through shaped them to be what they are now. They balanced each other out with the full on darkness/a little light in Lucifer to Nina’s full on light/with a sliver of darkness.

The plot was straight to the point. I was also surprised by something in the plot (not going to spoil it), but I did enjoy the surprise. I read this book in one shot. It was a quick and sexy read, something I needed and enjoyed.

It can be read as a standalone, but a few of the previous characters do show up. This is my second experience with Felicity Heaton’s Her Angel series and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Lucifer and Nina. I plan on reading the others in this series, getting more familiar with the world, and cast of characters.

If you have not picked up Her Angel series, I recommend giving it a try.

*Disclaimer: This story was previously published in the Dark and Damaged Box Set which I bought, but I also received a complementary ARC from the author through RabidPR. The complementary ARC had an added scene at the end, that was not previously in the Box Set, but has been added since it’s release in single format. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.

**ARC recieved as a gift in exchange for a honest review**

The Very first book I read of Felicity’s was Hunger, since then every book after has been a treasure to read and I’m glad I found Felicity back then.

Lucifer I had to giggle, lets face it the King of Hell. He is all that dark dangerous sexy and oh so stubborn male. His rule is absolute, sooo why will a slip of a girl being mortal and all rock his hell? Just because Nina has it like that, give the girl 3 snaps and haaaay.

Since reading Her Angel series one must think that heaven just isn’t all righteous and what not. They play just as dirty as the hell players, the difference is... Hell players they act like we expect them to act. Erin Lucifer’s daughter so rocks give her a A, adores her but then loved her book also. (smiles)

The Angel thought he had Lucifer in the bag after he dropped the mortal woman in Hell. Lucifer is thinking trap of some kind. Nina is all that is innocent, but far from dumb she will be doing some self talking, trying to make herself understand wth feelings and all.
Lucifer’s feelings... Yeah he has some, but he has worked very had keeping the shoved down. He has no reason not to keep his all goody goody feelings smothered.

Awesome characters loved them and the storyline, and loved the visit from previous book characters. That is always a hit for me. I thought the length was just right and flowed well. A good mix of personality and story, a few smexy scenes. Her Sinful Angel will be one of my favorites in Her Angel series. Though mostly a stand alone, you recommend you read from the beginning but definitely read, fun an exciting Ms Heaton does it again. Enjoy

His heart is as cold as ice and his soul as black as the bottomless pit but Lucifer, King of Hell finds himself tempted beyond all reason by the female his enemies dumped in his courtyard in this tempestuous paranormal romance.

Be prepared for some emotional turbulence as the ice cracks around Lucifer’s heart when he finds himself entranced by Nina which causes him quite a bit of conflicting emotions. These strong compelling characters sneak their way right into your heart and despite everything that has happened in the previous books will have you on Lucifer’s side in no time although the romance may give you pause as it is disturbingly sweet, but hey even the King of Hell needs some sweetness in his life. The plot has a fast pace that keeps expectations building with suspense and romance while the exciting action scenes adds tension and thrills when the enemy’s manipulative plot comes to light.

Once again Felicity Heaton has spun a web of spellbinding romance and passion that easily transports the reader into another world where there are no rules and you can always expect the unexpected, like the fact that Lucifer tugged at every one of my heartstrings. Hell, I knew he was sexy but damn did he have to go make me fall for him too?

Book eight in Ms Heatons angel series. thus time it's Lucifers turn!

Lucifer is the head baddy, I think it's fair to say we've seen a few chinks in his armour in last few books, mainly by his daughter and grandson. So watching him fall is fun.

His lady is dumped on his doorstep, and he has to bring her in to his dark castle, she acclimatise very well to being in a different realm and enjoys some of the tricks Lucifer can do. Lucifer can't help liking her and eventually they kiss. I loved how Lucufer tries to scare her off, but she won't budge.

I found there story very sweet, was a nice touch having Asmodeus and some of the others appear.

Review: The devil was just as tempting as the christian religion makes him out to be. However he's not as naughty. He came across a bit emotionally wounded & temperamental. Still great sex scenes & world development considering this was a short story. It has great potential & I think it would have made a fine full length novel.
Note: I've not read any of the prior books in this series this may have impacted my scoring.

Sooooooo he basically spent a millennia having unprotected sex with thousands of women in hopes for a baby. But all the women and babies die in childbirth so he keeps on trying. How romantic.

Side note, if you believe in heaven and hell this book might make you uncomfortable due to the fact that the writer attempts to make you feel bad for the Devil. Didn't bother me but I can see it offending some religious folk.

I've enjoyed all of the Her Angel series so far and was really excited to read this. I originally read it as part of the Dark and Damaged box set but the ending has been extended for it's standalone release. I like the ending of this more than the original as the first seemed a bit rushed to me but this was perfect.

I'm a sucker for a bad boy and Felicity Heaton has a real talent for redeeming the seemingly unredeemable. I have to admit though that I was really interested to see how she got on with the Devil. You can't get much badder than that! Lol.

Well I shouldn't have had any worries because she has done it again with style. This has now become my new favourite book in the series. It's shorter than some of the others in the series but it doesn't lack in storyline, romance and action.

We've been introduced to the Devils character already in the series and he definitely intrigued me. I could tell that he had hidden depths that he didn't show.

He is surprised by a delivery of sorts from an ancient enemy of his. A unconscious human female. Nina. He is suspicious of her, as she is of him when she awakens in a strange place with only a vague recollection of how she got there.

I enjoyed reading their story a lot. It was good to finally understand his past and how he had become the man he was. I also liked Nina. She was strong but had her own insecurities. I liked watching their relationship develop. I was great to catch up with some other characters from the series as well.

The writing is good with lots of action and emotion an even humour.

This could probably be read as a standalone but I think it would be better to read previous books in the series to fully understand the backstory behind this.

I devoured this in one sitting and would definitely recommend it to pnr fans. A great addition to an awesome series.

Her Sinful Angel is an emotional story about a side of Lucifer no-one even knew existed. When Nina was left on The Devil's doorstep as a scheme by Heaven itself, neither her nor Lucifer would have ever dreamt that it would affect them in ways they never knew possible any more.

Nina has gone through heartbreak and abandonment, struggling to get past those feelings. Especially when the person who did it, has come back and demanded another chance.

Lucifer. The Devil. Betrayed by Heaven and cast aside to live eternity trapped in Hell as it's ruler. All inner light gone from centuries of torture and darkness.

I found the story to be more of an emotional journey than anything. A story of finding light in the darkness and love in the most unexpected places. Hell. Nina and Lucifer facing feelings that they have fought hard to push aside, yet when together, manage to bring out in each other. Felicity once again drawers you in with her touching words and addictive story-line. Her ability to create such in depth worlds and characters never seizes to amaze me and her creativity is out of this world.

Her Sinful Angel is the perfect mix of paranormal and romance. Both touching and exciting. Completely addictive and I loved every minute of it.

This is the eighth book in Her Angel romance series. I loved it!

I will start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE the cover! I love the bare chested angels on all the other book covers in the series, don't get me wrong, but there's something about a suit wearing one that makes you want to know what's underneath, if you know what I mean? *wiggles eyebrows and winks*

Lucifer is the ultimate bad boy. He is ruthless, cruel, dangerous and oh so sexy! Being THE first fallen angel, he intrigued me when he was introduced in Her Demonic Angel. By the time Her Avenging Angel was released, I wanted to know him a little better. When I heard that his story was being planned, I was ecstatic! He is not flawless. He has made mistakes, chosen the wrong path on more than one occasion and been made to pay for his sins. Now the king of Hell, he plots his revenge on Heaven. When a mortal woman is left at his door, he is wary of the feelings she stirs in him.

Nina is a wonderful character. I really liked her. She is smart, sassy and headstrong. She has not had an easy life and has been hurt by an ex, but her life is about to get extremely complicated. Kidnapped and abandoned at a stranger's door, she finds herself drawn to the mysterious Lucifer.

I have been eagerly awaiting this story and it didn't disappoint! I started to read and didn't put it down until I finished it. I love how the story arc has developed throughout the last few books in the series and can't wait to read the new series which continues it. I also love how the characters have grown. Lucifer was one of the angels of Heaven before his fall. He may have fallen off the rails and gone dark, so to speak, but he still has a little light hidden within. Finding Erin, his daughter, and she having his grandson, Dante, has dusted the dirt off of it, but Nina sees beyond the grime to the lonely, noble and bright light within. This story is full of emotional ups and downs, as well as several twists and turns. The scenes and characters are well described and I felt like I was in the midst of the action. I found myself giggling at one of the scenes when Lucifer "borrows" Erin's body to rescue Nina. And I loved the one scene where Liora helps Lucifer after his fight with Mihail. Asmodeus's amused reaction to his master's predicament made me smirk. After reading Lucifer's story, I am becoming rather anti-Heaven myself. If I was an angel, I think I too would have fallen. I mean no offence to any religion when I say this. This is a piece of fiction and I find myself empathizing with the characters, that's all.

I don't normally put quotes in my reviews, but I love this line that Lucifer says to Nina: "I was heartless from the moment I met you. You stole it from me."
I read that line and my heart melted! Lucifer is my new book boyfriend!

Her Sinful Angel is, I think, the final book in the Her Angel series, although Her Avenging Angel (Book 7) was meant to be. However, I still have a few questions that remain unanswered, such as: 1) What is Heaven up to? 2) Why place Nina on Lucifer's doorstep? 3) What has this all got to do with the four fallen princes who have escaped Hell? I can't wait to find out if any of these questions get answered in the new series.

Felicity Heaton is number one on my Favourite Authors List. I love her fast paced writing style - it is extremely fluid and flows beautifully! I am in awe of her talent to weave stories with characters that come alive on the page. I felt like I could bump into them whilst doing my shopping!

Due to the explicit scenes in the story, I do not recommend this book to younger readers under 17. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love erotic paranormal romance or stories with sexy angels and/or demons! This story could be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend that you read the other 7 books too, to get a fuller understanding of the complex relationships between the characters. - Lynn Worton

Although Her Sinful Angel is #8 in the series, it can be read as a standalone - which is what I did. There are a couple of characters I'd like to know better so I will go back and read the previous books but I wasn't at all lost.

Having read Ms. Heaton's Eternal Mates series, Her Sinful Angel had a familiar feeling - as in she has a particular formula she seems to follow. But it didn't take anything away from the story. And Heaton delivered a well-paced story with compelling characters and wonderfully choreographed action scenes - all of which I've come to expect from her. There was a point in the story where I felt as though I'd missed something in the action. It seemed as though the characters had spent weeks together off-page rather than the days on-page. However, Heaton pulled me mack in, making me once again feel the chemistry between the characters.

Speaking of characters, Nina and Lucifer made a great couple.

"She was light with a seed of darkness inside her heart.  He was darkness with a flicker of light."

They complemented one another well. They'd both experienced betrayal but had handled it in different ways - taken very different paths. Nina was an interesting enough heroine at the beginning. But she seemed a little fragile. As the story progressed and we got to know her better, I realized she was a survivor and she proved her mettle. This endeared her to me. But I also had questions that were left unanswered, such as what happens to Nina, a mortal, living in Hell? This question, and a few others, might be answered in the previous installments, but I was left curious.

The best part of Her Sinful Angel was Lucifer. The way Heaton portrayed him, made him so human, vulnerable, and fallible, made him such a compelling character. His recollections and understanding of how he came to be the devil was a unique perspective. He spent his early existence doing all his Father asked. But he's come to understand that his role was set and there was nothing he could do to change his fate. The things he did, that his Father asked of him, vilified him because it was necessary. His role is necessary. But he wasn't happy about it. That he still holds onto the anger and need for revenge was understandable. And that Nina brought out the man he once was, the one he's spent millenia trying to extinguish, was something to see.

Her Sinful Angel was a nice introduction to this series. And I will go back to the beginning and read this series from there.

Who would have thought that Lucifer, the ruler of hell, could possibly fall in love? Well, in this installment of the Her Angel series, this is exactly what happens. First of all it should be noted that that Her Sinful Angel is the eighth book in the series, however it can be read as a stand-alone. Characters from Her Demonic Angel appears in this installment so if you want to learn more about these characters then it would be good to read this one as well.

At first I was a bit wary about reading this title as I just could not imagine how the author would be able to portray the ruler of hell as someone who is capable of love. Well, I must admit she did a great job. While reading I had to keep reminding myself that this was fantasy and there was nothing realistic about the story. This just shows Ms. Heaton’s uncanny ability to pull her readers into her stories causing them to feel as if they are actually living in the world she has created.

The way in which Lucifer is portrayed bears no similarities to what we know about him from biblical events. He portrayed himself as being cold and emotionless to his followers and his enemies, but when it came to his daughter and grandson it was a whole different story. His main focus was getting revenge against his former master and had no intention to allow anything to derail his plans. Well, this would all change when Nina was dumped on his doorstep. Now this is where things become very interesting.

Nina, a mere mortal is able to do what no one else has been able to do for centuries. She was able to breakdown Lucifer’s barriers causing him to experience emotions that he thought had been dead and buried. It was quite entertaining to see the ruler of hell being totally taken in by a mere slip of a woman. There were so many things to love about this story. The characters and the story line were all good. I was held captive the whole time and could not wait to find out what Nina’s reaction would be when she found out Lucifer’s real identity. Nina was able to connect with Lucifer as she herself has a dark side. It may not be as dark as Lucifer’s but it was enough for them to connect on a deep level. The story moved along at a great pace and as usual the love scenes were hot and sizzling and the action was tense and exciting. There were moments I found myself smiling at some of Lucifer’s actions. It was actually quite funny.

Although I enjoyed this installment, there were questions that arose where no answer was provided. For instance, how was the situation with Nina’s ex-husband dealt with? Would he not be curious as to her sudden disappearance in light of the fact that he wanted to get back with her?

Overall, this was a fun read. It should be noted that this is not suitable for readers under 18 years of age due to the explicit sexual content.

I usually really enjoy books Felicity Heaton. The worlds she creates I find so fascinating and the romance so yummy. For the most part, each book usually can be read as a stand-alone although I know better to read from the first book so I get the full feel of the series. Unfortunately, I'm jumping into the Her Angel series with Her Sinful Angel. It's not a bad thing but I think I'm seriously missing out on some of Lucifer's history, like his child and the bitter rivalry between him and Mihail just to mention a few. It's not that I feel lost, instead get a sense had I read the previous titles I would have grasped the importance of this final book.

I have mixed feeling with Lucifer and Nina's story. The very first chapter I was really into the story. What's the deal with Mihail dumping this mortal on Lucifer's doorstep. Is there a ulterior motive? What's Lucifer going to do to her? I was excited! Then we drifted into several chapters of all this inner angsting, questioning and not a whole lot of dialog or action. For me it started to drag, and I was ready for something exciting to happen. AND finally it did!

Once I got over feeling lost I really enjoyed the Lucifer and Nina. Actually, more Lucifer than Nina. Nothing against her it’s just I’m a sucker for stories that portrays Lucifer as a scapegoat to heaven’s doing. There was plenty of action, as in epic battles, to keep me entertained not to mention the swoon-worth heat between them. The secondaries were great bonus, which makes me want to really read their stories now. Erin is so sassy I can’t wait to sink my teeth into her book! The HEA was all I could hope for and seeing how it ended, if Ms. Heaton was to write a ‘what-happens-next’ book, I certainly would not say no to the read.

As I mentioned before, I jumped into the series without any previous history. I don’t recommend doing that. There really is a feel of world building with the characters and the situations that I feel I have missed out on. Knowing how off the hook Ms. Heaton’s stories, I think it’s fairly safe to say this series was awesome. I do recommend reading Her Sinful Angel but only after reading the Her Angel series from the beginning.

I received this book from the JeepDiva for the express purposes of an honest review. The opinions and rating of this review are solely mine and in no way was I compensated.

***2.8 stars***

Please note: This is the only book I have read by this author. I also know that I jumped to the end of a series but I did feel like it could almost be a stand-alone.

Now for my review...
The description got me intrigued and the idea was good but I do feel the book failed. I think Lucifer was not dark and evil enough. I mean come on! It's LUCIFER!!! He was all "woe is me...I was led astray". One minute he was powerful and then he turned into a wimp. It was a character failure to say the least.

Another issue was the writing itself. It was one line of dialogue then a page or two of feelings, emotions, thought and ideas then the dialogue would return for another sentence. This seemed to go on and on throughout the book. It was confusing and hard to keep track of the conversation.

Finally to my last issue...The whole time I kept thinking...are they going to do something like eat, shower, change clothes or go to sleep? If she would of added a few daily mundane actions it would of helped the reader keep track of time. The book ended up with chunks of time missing and there was a lack of flow.

It could of been great but the writing was poor and the characters didn't live up to their potential. Sorry to be so harsh. But there are so many good books out there and It's not worth it to waste your time.

FYI...The word "realised" was repeated so many times!

I loved Lucifer's story. As with all of this series the writing is phenomenally good, drawing you into the story & the depth of each character. You get every nuance of their thoughts and emotions. I expected Lucifer to be all about the evil, but here we get a story of why he is the way he is, the events that made him fall and a glimpse into the soul he once was. Nina arouses feelings in him that he hasn't felt for a long time, and he is instantly drawn to her but tries so hard to fight it. However it's hard to fight what is meant to be, and the instant attraction and pull that they feel towards each other cannot be denied. THey are connected by past betryals that haunt them both, but gives them an understanding and a connection to each other. Lucifer surprised me, we already knew he was hot (and not just in a hell kind of way) but it was nice to see other depths to him and the intensity of his feelings, not just for Nina, but also for his family. He's badass in every sense of the word with a sliver of soft centre. It left me wanting more of Lucifer and Nina and to find out what happens in the future.

Although this book can be read as a stand alone to understand Lucifer's character I think it would be better to read the others first.
Lucifer is the King of hell. If he wakes up in a bad mood everyone around him could be in danger. One morning an angel who has been a thorn in his side for a millennia leaves an unconscious mortal woman on his doorstep. He knows that must be a trap of some kind, but the only way to find out is to bring her in.
Nina wakes up in an unfamiliar room, with a raging headache and no idea how she got there. Can she believe the sinfully handsome stranger who seems to be protecting her.
A great adventure in the darkest realm. Has the Devil got a soft side.? Marvellous battles and hot sex scenes. A brilliant bit of humour when Lucifer has to go outside his realm. I do love this series.

Finally, Lucifer - the big bad from previous books - meets his match in Nina although their initial meeting is shrouded in mystery. Nina is taken by Mihail and left in Lucifer's courtyard. What game is Heaven playing and is Nina part of it or an innocent victim?

This is told in the third person, with history and plot given as memories or thoughts. The conversation between the two main characters ranges through a complete tumult of emotions. I loved seeing the 'humane' side of Lucifer coming out, as well as the teasing he received from Erin and Veiron.

A brilliant addition to the Angel series and one that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Definitely recommended by me.

A deliciously beautiful story. I love demons and fallen angels. I always believe them to be highly misunderstood just as the case was in this story with Lucifer. His story was dark and he was a tormented soul who needed the right kind of woman to heal him. Enter Nina. Nina has her own kind of tormented past but she's strong and caring and able to see Lucifer for who he really is.
The plot was fast pace, full of tension, action, betrayal and passion. There was never a dull moment.

Lucifer is the epitome and embodiment of all evil things, and this author has delivered us this bad boy without any hold back. But As dark and tainted as his soul is - Lucifer finds himself intrigued, drawn in and raptured by the beauty left at his front door.

She questions his everything within - it seems even the darkest of souls can see the light.

There are some good descriptive passages, but a number of them don't really contribute to the plot, slowing the pace of the book. I also found the characters hard to connect with, especially since the male main character is meant to be Lucifer. I know this is fantasy, but the scenario just didn't work for me.

I love felicity's books and was really looking forward to this one but 40% through and nothing happened. It bored me a bit. All the other books in this series have been action packed but this one lacked a lot considering who the main character was.

I really wanted to like this book, and I got over halfway through, and was just bored. There'd all this story with both characters that's not being given completely and only hinted at, but it's just going on too long.

Last book in this series, and it’s a good one.
We all know the story of Lucifer being thrown out of heaven.
We all know that Lucifer is a bad guy through and through, no redeeming features.
And I did wonder why the author would give such a bad guy a happy ending? But maybe she’s going to tease him, then take away his female to punish him?! It’s an idea I totally got on board with, he had a hand in most of these books, his aim was to break free from his prison.
But he knows if he gets out, then it’s game over for the world (and without giving too much away) and that’s something he doesn’t really want to do anymore!
Lucifer is the guy we all love to hate, Prince of darkness, king of the demons, but as we get to know Lucifer a little better, there is more to him than just his handsome face and sinful nature.....
But Lucifer hides a secret, if he escapes then so do the angels that he holds down here. And if they escape. Then it’s definitely the end of the world!! So he’s doing heaven a favour (well that’s the way he looks at it)
Nina is always wary, always hiding. And when she wakes up, her first thought is that her ex has her! But seeing a gorgeous man standing in front of her instead, has her thinking he maybe rescued her?! But she needs to be on her guard, because of this kind man helped her, then she could be endangering him too!
There is the battle between good and evil, right and wrong. And as most of the previous books have stated, it’s not always the good guys that are good. People can redeem themselves.
Living in Hell for a millennia will corrupt anyone, having no light in your life will harden and darken any soul......
Lucifer doesn’t understand his feelings for this female, she has to be a trap. His enemies are always trying to find a way to break him, to anger him to the point of breaking out of this hellish prison. But Lucifer won’t be tricked. And he’s going to find out who this human woman is and why she’s here.
And as Nina and Lucifer become entangled with one another, there is another force waiting to strike him down! Can he rely on others to help him? Or will he be forever alone?!
I have to admit I love these stories, you don’t need to read the previous books, but if you do, then I’d advise to read them in order.
There is a new series being spoken about and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
Written with enough action and violence to keep me entertained, and plenty of steam and tender moments to make you root for the bad guy😉
Sometimes it’s not black and white, there are many shades in between.
Highly recommended series.

Okay, so heres how the whole book went:

Description
Description
Description
Description

“Character Dialogue #1”

Description
Description
Couple more pages of description
A couple pages of Reminiscing about the past

“Return Character Dialogue #2”

*Repeat from the start*

There were literally times in which I went back some pages and look for what the character had asked after reading the reply. I think the plot was quite nice, but there were just too many paragraphs in-between the dialogues for me to enjoy the actual flow of the story. And it was mentioned in the book that “Lucifer’s wings had been torned off him when he had fallen”, and then a couple of pages later the author stated that “his wings were itching to get free”…???

I actually liked Lucifer himself (because I’m a sucker for fallens) and Erin and Dante and their little family group. Its just that maybe the author could reduce the amount of paragraphs in between dialogues so that the reader can actually avoid skipping pages and enjoy the actual progression of the story.

I enjoyed this book, and loved seeing a different side of Lucifer, which had been building up over the last few stories. Nina was an interesting character as his love interest too.

I did feel that there were gaps in the story, which could have had more of an explanation, and it was also disappointing that we didn’t have a conclusion to one of the story arcs that had taken place over the last two books. I’m guessing that this is because Felicity can pick up and return to the story in the future, if she gets the idea for another plot.

I have really enjoyed reading the Her Angel Eternal Warriors series, and it’s interesting to see how different this world is, compared to the world that Felicity writes about in her Eternal Mates Series.

I have now downloaded Her Angel Bound series, which came before this series of books, and will be reading them! So it will be interesting to see where it all started.
