Nathan Kositsky was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1947. He began writing in the summer of 1970.
In the early 70's, he won a government grant for creative writing, which allowed him to write through his twenties with an agent in New York and the William Morris Agency in Los Angeles, where he worked on several original screenplays and wrote seven novels. He has received many awards for his creativity including an Emmy from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
He married Andrea Arnold, a beauty queen and Hollywood starlet, then entered the advertising agency business, to help raise a family by "making money on a regular basis."
