Marla had betrayed me in the worst way...or so I thought. My version of the past was unraveling, leading me to question everything I knew about the break-up. The only thing I knew for sure was she was driving me crazy. I found her maddening. Bewitching. Captivating. She was still in my blood after all these years. But I was determined to resist her sweetness until I uncovered every last secret she was hiding from me. ~Beau Shepard
Beau only knew half the secret. The other half could destroy him. I knew sooner or later he would figure out the truth and the past would be exposed for what it really was. A betrayal of the worst kind. I wasn’t giving up on us, though. I still loved him. Utterly and Completely. Fate was giving us another chance. I could feel it in my bones. ~Marla Matthews
Over the last couple of years, writing has become a passion of mine. I pour my heart into each one of my stories, letting my characters go wherever they dare to venture. They often surprise and amuse me. I revel in exploring the human condition through the art of storytelling. Nothing gives me more pleasure than drawing you into a world of emotional connection, compelling characters and hopeful adventure, complete with sizzle and sensuality. My goal is to leave you breathless and panting for more... Write me. I love to hear from readers! I'm always looking to get fresh perspective, inspiration and insight to making my stories the best I can make them. I promise I'll write back. Until then, celebrate and savor the magic of romance, good people!
I've really enjoyed Marla and Beau's story. There were many emotional moments. Two long lost lovers coming back together. Not without lots of sadness and pain and tears though. It was a tough road. Beau made me want to knock him around a lot but when he opened all the boxes Marla had saved for him over the years I cried for the pain and happiness he was feeling. All the things he missed out on but was reliving through all the items she saved was so emotional. I'm gonna miss these characters a lot. They all need a story of how they are doing in a year or two ;-)

What a beautiful ending to Marla and Beau's story, I loved it! Great series, great writing, great story telling! I absolutely love Jessa's writing she truly makes you feel you are in the story with the characters she can pull the tears from you like no other author! Good job Jessa, look forward to more!
With the surprising news that Beau has a 22 yr son, Beau is confused and hurt at first. He is angry at Marla for keeping Charlie away from him. Marla had her reasons as to why the secrets. But will Beau ever forgive her? He certainly will test her limits and his own limits will be tested as his own flesh and blood puts him to the test.
I wanted to finish both books first before I wrote a review. The premise was intriguing, mature long lost loves, blackmail, secrets and lies. It had the recipe for a really good book but unfortunately the actions of some of its characters killed it for me. I’ll jump right into what was wrong with this book….. MARLA!!! What a coward and “martyr” I couldn’t stand her. This is my problem with her and supposed all encompassing “love” for Beau. I get it she was a vulnerable 17 yr old and was afraid of losing custody of her sister and she did what she did because of Beau’s father, I had no problem with that. What I didn’t understand was why once Emma was of age she didn’t contact Beau and tell him the truth about what his father had done and about his son Charlie. In addition, what happened when Charlie was 18, why didn’t you contact Beau then? I’m sorry I felt that everyone gave her too much of a free pass on this, everyone excused her behavior even Beau’s grandad who helped her with lying to his own family. They wrote her as this martyred sacrificial mother who loved Beau sooooooooo much. No!!!! she was a coward who only thought of herself, that’s why I loved when Charlie called her on it (one of the few times that I liked him).
Complaint #2
Umm… how old is Charlie supposed to be again? I could have sworn they said 22 but he was very immature in my opinion. While 22 isn’t that old some his antics were those of a teenage kid, and everyone seemed to think they were hilarious. Unlike the characters in this book, I didn’t find his jokes endearing
Complaint #3
Why was it necessary to tack on that kidnapping at the end it was stupid and not needed. Couldn’t they simply have apologized and made up?
Conclusion
This book had so much potential but got bogged down weak character; HINT: Marla. I would have definitely enjoyed this more and given a higher rating
Forever Beloved is the second book in the Billionaire Love series by Jessa Eden. This book was such a huge improvement from the first book. Only one flashback to the past so it made me very happy. Loved the second chance romance feel with the secret son thrown into the mix. The characters had depth, emotion and lots of chemistry. All in all a pretty solid read.
I love this story. Marla stayed true to herself, no matter what came her way. Jessa Eden always takes me on an emotional roller coaster every time. I can't wait for her next story. I am a forever fan.
After not being able to put down Forever Branded, it was all I could do to put Forever Beloved down in order to get some sleep. I was constantly wanting to find out what was going to happen next and spent all morning and early afternoon finishing it...still in my PJs.
