Understanding

Ah now I understand more of the elders and their roll. The relationship with the others is interesting as it develops. The traveling and Saul is I believe a distraction from what is really going on and I wonder whAt that is. Another block to add to what I am hoping is a climactic part of this story.

Very, very, HOT, & Very original.

In gathering shawdows, Saul is now working for the Guard and smoothing out clans problems around the world with Nikki. There is trouble brewing a short distance from Red Creek, and Saul is not questioning his father's death and digging for the truth when he can. But something are not adding up and Saul is hearing rumors about his dad's death, and now has more questions than answers. Kara is dealing with what happen in her own mortal way and Jill is still in Red Creek helping Jason.

So not giving to much away that's my summary. This one didn't have tons of action but there was more details being explained and still blood flowing, of course. I said this book is very, very, hot because it is!!!! Everyone got some time with someone else and Victoria wrote those scenes very steamy, making me want more but with class. I very much LOVED this one, sometimes slow is a great approach because it means shut is gonna hit the fan in the next book. Again Victoria is very good at coming up with different story's than others and she did it again in this one for me, very original.

As Saul n nikki start to settle into there new roles n trying to understand their growing feelings, Saul still workin for the guard & trying to find answers to his father's death, Jill trying to help Jason understand n figure out his abilities... the action from the previous months seems to have died down.. New questions start to arise... is Jason a rogue or not yet fully turned.. does the guard know more them they are saying??? Anxious to read number 4 and find out...

An interesting and intriguing continuation of The Veiled Series. The author does a wonderful job of continuing the story from where the previous book left off. More questions are raised, which draws the reader deeper into the story. Well-written and a great continuation.
