Aroused is book one in the Taming Himself series by Kia Carrington-Russell. It is the first in what is to be a five part series. This book was generously provided to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Hayden Zilch has been very successful in his professional life. He came from a bad childhood, abandoned by his mother and abused by his father. He became a sports manager/investor and started his own business in Ithaca, New York, Zilch Enterprises, and has enjoyed much success. Hayden is also very successful with the ladies. He has a regular selection that keep him sexually satisfied at his choosing. But as of late, Hayden has begun to want more. To actually have a single loving relationship that could lead to marriage and children. But how to ever choose. How does one find “the one?”
“When you find her, the woman you will marry, it will most likely come in the most unexpected way. Love does not just fall into your lap. It slaps you in the face before you even realize it was there.”
With the help of his personal assistant, Amber, Hayden makes a list of five women that could be candidates. He is supposed to date these women, get to know them, instead of instantly jumping into bed with them.
Although the premise of this book was very cute, I just couldn’t find it in myself to like Hayden much. He really was a man whore but that isn’t why I didn’t like him. He had zero self-control with any of the women, and I thought he was terribly immature. He would get himself into the craziest of situations. And honestly, none of the women were good candidates. Well, maybe one could have been but she took herself out of the running.
If you want a quick, sexy romp, you will enjoy this book. And it was sexy. But along with that, I wanted to feel something for the MC and that never really did happen.

Review for Saints and Sinners Books
I found this book very intriguing and at times hilarious. But then again, when a playboy decides to put away his old ways and find the “one” it’s bound to be funny. Some of the situations Hayden put himself in were off the wall crazy. Not to mention the women surrounding him as well. I honestly have no clue where Hayden found the women in his life. They sure did make things interesting.
I did enjoy reading more about Hayden’s character. He has some hidden parts of his past that I’d love to learn more about. He keeps his past very secretive, as if he’s more ashamed of it than anything. I hope in the next book the author reveals more into Hayden’s past. I also hope Hayden’s character matures more. He does want to find the one for him, but I don’t think he’s taking it seriously. There was so many times he could’ve put away his own desires but he gave in to easily. But he is a guy, so of course he’d only think with one part of his anatomy.
I am very interested to see what will come out of Hayden’s quest. The author has me sucked into the world of Hayden, so I will be on the lookout for the next book. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a hot, quick, and steamy read!

Aroused is the beginning of a series written by Kia Carrington-Russell that is focused on Hayden Zilch, entrepreneur, sports manager, and investor.
The premise of this book is to take a journey with Hayden while he is changing his ways from an individual who doesn’t get emotionally attached to a person who finds one women.
Throughout the book you watch Hayden pick 5 of the women he has been with and try to get the list down to 1. In order to accomplish this his personal assistance Abby gives him advice…..ABSTAIN from sex!
Hayden doesn’t fare as well as we watch him go on 4 dates and fail at each one and gets told by the 5th she has found someone. We get to see all of different types of women he is attracted to. By the end of this book I had to feel sorry for Hayden and wonder what will happen next.
Kia again has created an environment where the characters come alive. You are able to feel the characters inner turmoil’s, love and insecurities. This is the first time Kia has written an erotica book but you would never be able to tell. This is the first book in a series and I highly recommend this book.

I was given a copy of the book by Hurricane Readers in exchange for an honest review.
I really liked this book. The main character is a "man-whore" named Hayden, trying to reform, but failing miserably.
I think the characters were well written, and the pace of the story didn't drag you down and with all Hayden's misadventures, I felt like I had to keep reading to see what happened next.
I can't really say to much more without giving away to much of the story, but it was a great book.

I bet we all know a guy who can't keep his pole in his pants. Traveling all over town just to get it wet. Well meet Hayden, he owns his own company and has women lining up through the door, even his little black phone helps his get what he thinks is his. Except for that one. He's now on the prowl for the one. Can any of the women he's been with be the one or has she been in front of him the entire time... Will he be able to keep in his pants long enough to find her.

Hayden Hayden Hayden Omg he is soooo HOT but he is a real "man-whore" he is looking for the "one" but can't choose between the five girls that he has been dating lol. This book is funny, HOT and the storyline is really well written and keeps you glued to the pages cause you want to know whats gonna happen next. I really did enjoy this. Cant wait for more!!!!

I enjoyed reading Aroused. Hayden is so hot, even if he is a womanizer. He loves pleasing women, and women love being pleased by him. I loved the banter between Hayden and his assistant, Amber. Garden's quest to find "the one" is bound to be very interesting, especially with Amber butting in and giving her opinions. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I received a copy from Booksprout; this is my honest review.
-Definitely not er*tica, probably more like steamy. FFM & MF, BDSM, language, etc.
-Hayden has many friends with benefits and uses the list well. One for this particular event, the other one for that one, etc. Something is bound to go wrong and it did - A few met and it was catty, as it should be.
-I was truly confused at to what happened with the pink drinks and the beer; how did Hayden get so sick? It can't be just the flu.
-I think Brandy is dangerous and so is Norelle. Jenniva is smart and made the right choice. Amy is SOAS and Sarah has a hard heart. Quite the gang! Who will be chosen?
-I really liked Amber and she has a lot on her shoulder but takes it well, even at 2 am.
-Gregory has a problem with roving eyes while "happily" married. I would love to hear what his wife has got to say about where he goes after work ...
-All in all a good read with a story that makes sense and a quick pace. Interesting, finishes with a bang and a cliffhanger; it's a serials.
-Editing needs another pass: desert vs. dessert, too vs. to, sept vs. seeped, etc.

I don't mind books considered erotica, but this book did nothing for me. This story is all about Hayden Zilch, the owner of Zilch enterprises with his assistant Amber and his accountant Gregory. Hayden was a self made man who became wealthy despite his up bringing. His father was abusive and his mother abandoned him at four. It was just not my cup of tea because it was filled with Hayden and all his sexual exploits and not a rhyme or reason for why.

Hayden loves women - loves to please them, loves to love them and loves to be with him. He decides he is ready to settle down and find The One. So he shortlists a handful of names and sets out to see who is the perfect match. I couldn't help but to shake my head at Hayden as he really wants to be good but is so easily led astray and by his bad choices. To be honest, I thought he was super immature and it drove me crazy and made it hard for me to really get into this book.

This book is about an incurable womaniser Hayden, who has the most understanding and tolerant PA, Amber. Hayden is a successful sports agent, but it is a miracle he finds the time as he seems to be unable to say no to any female temptation, whatever that might be. The characters are non-developed, shallow, and other than steamy eroticism with negligible filter, the book has little to offer. To top it off, it has a cliffhanger. I hope the next book has more depth.

This book make me laugh so hard and say OMG so many times. Hayden and Amber banters are most favorite moment in the book. I know Amber is not on the list but I'm rooting for her. The title of this book matches its contents which is something I like. If you want a lighthearted erotic read, grab this book now and you will not be disappointing. "I was on the journey to find that one woman who would scream for me every day, who would love me flaws and all, who wanted to spend the rest of her days with me, for better or worse, and maybe have a hip or two replaced." - Hayden this is one of my favorite quote from this book and I can't wait to continue reading Hayden journey in Taste, book two.
