His game. His rules. Her Harte.

Arrogant, Irish billionaire Julian Harte is used to getting what he wants. He wants Evangeline Andrews.

Julian Harte’s childhood came to a sudden end one day when he was eight years old; it’s also the day he started playing games. Games aren’t just a fascination for him, they’re a way of life. The objective? Right the wrongs of the past. The only rules are his and Julian doesn’t play to lose.

New Jersey girl Evangeline Andrews is starting over in Dublin. Hiding from her messed up family, games are the last thing she needs. But Eva soon learns an invite to the company masquerade ball is really an induction into Julian’s world. Julian Harte knows more about her than anyone should, and she needs to know why. Eva doesn’t understand the game, or why she’s playing. But she’s prepared to break every rule to find out.

Let the games begin…

This series is worthy of 6 stars!

Totally kept me on my seat the whole story with no idea where we were going. This series has so many different reasons for falling in love, the sex being mind blowing, the live story like a roller coaster, well written & far too addictive to name just a few. Can't wait to re read this series again & more books by the same author .

This series had me pulled in from the 1st page. It has some seriously amazing twists and turns. Its definitely an adult geared book. But the way it was written had me gasping and panting every time Eva did. Thank you Brooke, well done

DNF around 30% of the first book (didn't get farther than that); did not connect with characters; h was all over the place; no depth to the story. Shelving the rest of the series (since I have the book bundle)

You'll need to keep your brain engaged to appreciate this series

It's a love story but so much more. It's a mystery of sorts, it's an emotional roller coaster with more twists and turns than Lombard Street in San Francisco. It's the collision of two people with bags and bags of history, wounded and bleeding from the cruelty of evil people, hurts that have never healed. Julian's solution is to make everything a game, to be the game master who controls the outcome. Eva is a woman who is a victim in every sense, but one whose past was in charge of her future. Their first meeting is a grand manipulation and their relationship, such as it is, is fraught with secrets. It is erotic one moment and cold distance the next. By the time a reader reaches the end, one wonders how these two survived each other, much less the other players in the mix. Yet it is a fascinating tale and will not let your imagination or your attention loose until the last page. Ms Harris has done an admirable job of keeping all their secrets until the very end. I'm glad I was open to reading such a complicated series. Don't begin this unless you are prepared to keep your brain fully engaged from start to finish.

This book I'm not sure what I think some parts I loved others I was bored and then the next chapter would start and I was glued to it again. I get bored of chapter after chapter of sex, I like the romance and the chase in a book. This was interesting although I wouldn't want to be in her place some of it was weird your best mate is sleeping with the lad your seeing and everything is ok. Mmmmm doesn't ring true. I don't know 2.5 I have read better much better but it wasn't terrible I was able to finish it.

Julian & Evangeline Heart to Harte Disheartening

Five stars for content. I found typos that were to me distracting. The Julian's stabbing bothered me. How and why would a character NOT get medical treatment right away? I. Found. It. Disheartening. I didn't like my hero to be so #!+#ed up. Eva the heroine was depicted as weak and vulnerable. I hated how she believed everything Nathan and Shelly told her taking her straight to Deluca's lair. Julian should of come clean.

This story will make you laugh, cry, want to throw things, and every other emotion ever invented. Julian and Eva are a couple that you really want to see make it. Eva alternated between insecure and strong throughout the whole series. Julian, oh Julian, was very cocky. Sometimes I loved him and then he would change in the the blink of an eye and I'd want Eva to walk away. So because of the wonderful writing, this was a really good series and I would definitely recommend it.

Six stars

If I could, I would give this book six stars! This was such wonderful love story.
Both Eva and Julian were so deep. The fun of
Shedding "the layers" made this story reach in and twist my heart. Of cause it didn't hurt that the sex was so hot!
Great side characters helped keep this story so much fun to read.
This author knows how to keep you coming back for more.
Loved this story, from beginning to end.

Interesting

I give this series 3.5 I enjoyed the series but it was slow in spots. I somewhat connected to the characters but it was very cold in the beginning. The secrets came out little by little just enough to keep you interested. I would recommend reading this series. It did keep me reading I just can't put my finger on what would have made me more connected.

Julian Harte do you love him or hate him.

This story is quite the rollercoaster with lot of dips and turns. Eva feels like the ugly duckling in an office full of swans and her boss Mr.Doe is right out of an episode of Mad Men. Sexual harassment anyone! There is sex, office politics, mystery, suspense, family issues and more sex.

Games

I wasn't sure how to take this story at first. But I am go glad I read it all. I fell for Julian. He had a wall around him a mile high. But his little lady went right over and made him live again. And find love as well. They went through so much together. The ending was worth it all.

Loved this book

It's a page turner during most of the book. Sometimes found it hard to figure out what character they were talking about and kept thinking in parts that I had missed some pages out. Not sure if I got gist of the full story but still was able to figure near the end. Loved the ending

I laughed, dropped my jaw, even hoped for a fourth book in this series. The Harte series was cleverly written and your feelings for Julian changes with each turn of the page. Finding myself rooting for him more times than none when Evangeline wouldn't put up with him I want to read this story again to get those good feelings.

The Harte series

I fell in love with Eva ands Julian. Even as I cheered and cussed them out with "the games" every one plays, I saw the reality we all achieve. No one can mess with our mind as good as we do to ourselves. You showed this exceptionally well. Thank you. I can't wait to read more of you books.

I LOVED IT!!!!!!! I don't normally write reviews just leave stars, but this one kept me on my toes. I couldn't decide if I loved or hated him. Julian Harte is by far one of my favorite good guy, bad boy book boyfriends. So many twists you have to read to the very end to get all the answers.
