Whew!

Lots to enjoy in these pages...
As we know from others by this author duo, the guys fall hard and fast, and in this case, so does Abby!

The meet cute with Kane was the best way to start the relationship between these characters, as he's the jump first, questions later guy - and he is instantly smitten. His team mate and best friend Dash (a quiet goalie) is also interested, and when the team lawyer Benjamin (stepbrother to Kane) sees their intrest, it doesn't take long for him to catch feelings as well.

But Abby has a past that makes her hesitant to 1) actually believe her 3x luck and 2) trust the longevity of the steamy attraction.
And boy, there's a bunch of sizzling chemistry between them! She's happy to have each of the guy's attention separately, but excited for group activities as well.

This is easy to read and enjoy. I appreciated how easily the guys devoted themselves to caring for Abby's every need. It's a steamy read that moves well and I finished quicker than I expected.

I look forward to the next new release from this author duo.

2½⭐ rounding up simply because I've been with this author since the beginning & know they are capable of better

I actually read the ebook version, bought early from the authors website. While I did finish this book I've got to say it's not one of the better ones from this author. To me the guys were basically carbon copies, poor ones at that, of other MMCs from the Racketeers universe.

Benjamin = Nathan
Kane = Crew
Dash = Wilder

I didn't really care for Abby, the MFC, very much either. Also this book came off as rushed, especially the ending. I only finished this because I bought it, every time I put it down I had a hard time picking it back up again thus taking way too long to finish. I have bought every single book that this author has written to date. I've got to say though this is one of my least favorite books only second to Three Dirty Dad's. That being said I do look forward to more books by this author in the future.

Not Really a Hockey Romance

So despite the title not really a hockey romance per say. More like you see minimal hockey, 2 of the MMCs play minor league hockey and one is an attorney for the league. So I’d give this 2.5 stars just because I was expected more of a storyline from the blurb and title. To be fair if you are ready this for the spice then you have a ton of it. Character development not so much. It’s instalove for them and instalust. She comes off completely naive and innocent, but then the switch flips and I’m like wtf am I reading? So many holes in the story, so many things that make zero sense. I realized it was going to and I ended up skimming through to the end hoping for an epic epilogue and didn’t quite get that. I have read a few of the author’s other books and this just fell flat for me.

More Why Choose

This story is much the same as the previous books by this writing duo- three studly men fall head over heels for the same woman as soon as they set eyes on her, the woman, in this case Abby, thinks about it for a few seconds then wholeheartedly agrees. Abby is a childhood cancer survivor, which adds an interesting angle. I did find Abby a bit self absorbed and really felt sorry for her sister, whose childhood had been ruined by the situation. Still that wasn't the main thrust of this story and there certainly is a lot of thrust!

If they write it I will always read it !
One of my fave why choose romance authors ! These ladies write it so well !
Easy to read and the characters reminded me of the OG cast Dani with crew, Nathan and Dr Hughes !
Highly recommend these books

Emma Foxx is a master of why-choose romance, especially when it comes to the ice hockey world.

I genuinely couldn’t put this book down. The chemistry, the drama and the obsession had me completely hooked!

Give me all the hockey why-choose!

Just couldn’t get into this one. Was too much and not enough all at once.

I enjoyed the storytelling and the pace was just right. But it needed proofreading. The amount of incorrect homophones was distracting.
