Requiem is lost. The marble halls, the old books, the very magic of the kingdom--a kingdom of people who could become dragons--are all but forgotten. Now there is only the Cured Temple, a fanatical cult ruling a land called the Commonwealth. Yet for the first time in a hundred years, dragons are flying again. There are only several dragons left in the world. Only several souls against an empire. The Cured Temple commands vast armies. Its paladins swarm across the land. Its warships fill the seas. And now the Temple raises its greatest champions the animated skeletons of long-buried dragons, undead beasts that fill the sky. Facing these hosts, the last dragons of Requiem have but a flicker of hope, the sliver of a dream. But these last dragons rise nonetheless. They fly to war. They fly with one cry, one vision, one "Requiem." _______________ THE REQUIEM Dawn of Dragons Book 1: Requiem's Song Book 2: Requiem's Hope Book 3: Requiem's Prayer Song of Dragons Book 1: Blood of Requiem Book 2: Tears of Requiem Book 3: Light of Requiem Dragonlore Book 1: A Dawn of Dragonfire Book 2: A Day of Dragon Blood Book 3: A Night of Dragon Wings The Dragon War Book 1: A Legacy of Light Book 2: A Birthright of Blood Book 3: A Memory of Fire Requiem for Dragons Book 1: Dragons Lost Book 2: Dragons Reborn Book 3: Dragons Rising Flame of Requiem Book 1: Forged in Dragonfire Book 2: Crown of Dragonfire Book 3: Pillars of Dragonfire Dragonfire Rain Book 1: Blood of Dragons Book 2: Rage of Dragons Book 3: Flight of Dragons

Daniel Arenson is a bookworm, proud geek, and USA Today bestselling author of fantasy and science fiction. His novels have sold over a million copies. The Huffington Post has called his writing "full of soul." He's written over forty novels, most of them in five series:

EARTHRISE — They came from deep space. They came to destroy us. Against the alien onslaught, Earth stands alone. But we will fight. We will rise. We will win. Start reading with Earth Alone, the first novel in this military science fiction series.

REQUIEM — Welcome to Requiem, an ancient kingdom whose people can grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Requiem is explored in six trilogies, which can be read in any order. If you're new to Requiem, you can start reading with Requiem's Song (you can download it for free). For fans of dark, gritty fantasy like A Game of Thrones.

MOTH — Discover Moth, a world torn between day and night—its one half drenched in eternal daylight, the other cloaked in endless darkness. For fans of classic fantasy worlds such as Middle Earth and Narnia. Start reading with Moth, the first novel in this epic fantasy saga.

ALIEN HUNTERS — Got trouble with aliens? Call the Alien Hunters. A group of scruffy mercenaries, they'll remove the pest for you. Low rates. No questions asked. Start reading with Alien Hunters, the first book in this space opera series. For fans of Star Wars, Firefly, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

KINGDOMS OF SAND — Enter a world of sand and splendor, a world where gladiators battle in the arena, where legionaries and barbarians fight for glory, and where empires rise and fall.

Deus. Not Mercy Deus or Gemini Deus, but Deus Ex Machina. That is how this series ends up. Since book one, you've known how this highly predictable series would end. The question was how. When last we left our intrepid heroes, they were trying to restore a kingdom of honor, while themselves displaying the morals of alleycats.

In this final installment, there's a new terror, because a 200-1 numerical advantage is not enough. The new terror has no background and little context. Don't worry, the ending you knew would happen does happen.

I get the sense that when this manuscript got to the publisher, the editor just threw up their hands and said "Whatever...it's the last book of his contract. Just print it."

If you're wondering whether to read this series, don't bother- invest your time elsewhere, such as stamp collecting. If you've already read books one and two, it's too late. You're trapped, accept your fate, suspend your disbelief, and see who's having sex with who while battling 100+ to 1 odds in the next chapter.

I absolutely loved this trilogy and cannot wait to read more set in this world! All the characters were very unique. Many parts were gritty but there were also some extremely touching areas. Extremely well rounded. My only complaint would be that these could be shorter-there were often a lot of repetitive reminders of who and what was going on, but they were manageable by being placed as thoughts of the dragons/people. I am so impressed and really enjoyed these reads, racing to the books every night I could to read more!

Book 20/75: Dragons Rising (Requiem for Dragons #3) by Daniel Arenson. an anticlimactic ending. I preferred the first series I had read of Arenson but at least this third book was better than the second one. I'd love to know the timeline between the books and if there is any relation other than the facts that they changed into dragons...

end and rebirth

everything rests on the backs of five Vir Requis and one royal Paladin. if they cannot beat the power of the Spirit, Requiem will be lost forever.

I am an old, as in old, favourite of All of Daniel's Dragon series.

I still have two books to read and I am expecting just as good a read. There however a few places where it seems to be duplicated but Daniel seems has the ability of making the characters come to life. Sorry got to stop there as the next book is waiting. All the best to Daniel and all his followers.

i thought this book was a little strange compared to the other trilogies. in those there was a different terror on each book, one worse than the previous one. I kinda expected that on this trilogy, but the big bad horror didn't show until this last book. I think it was the author's desperate attempt to keep our attention, which I thought he didn't need to do. the books were great BECAUSE there was no big bad horror like the bonedrakes

This author ALWAYS DELIVERS

This story has been one for the ages. Some great people have passed on in this third book but some still remain to help take out the light of evil.
So many dragons and humans have worked so hard to bring this story to its end. I hope you all enjoy this WONDERFUL story as I have.

Return of the Stars

I have become a fan of Daniel Arenson style of writing. Within this book you can find more of its beauty and the beauty of his characters.
Here you will find that the only true light is that of the Stars and the people of the land of Requiem.
