Turned Out by a Thug
17-year old Tyroneshia is a girl from the hoods of West Dallas but has a good head on her shoulders. Getting ready to graduate valedictorian, she took pride in her smarts and still holding on to her virginity. She is the oldest of seven children and she was determined not to end up like her mother, whom she hated.
When her best friend's brother comes to town for the graduation, she starts rethinking her decision to remain a virgin until she is married. One major factor is their nine year age difference. With only a summer in front of her she tries to get close to him. Will she be able to make him look past her age and let her in? Or will he string her along all summer?

Good book
So far this book has been great. Not much drama yet but I'm sure it's coming. I'm hoping that two of the characters eventually are able to be a couple.

Great read
This was a pretty goods series. I think it's more to Aston and I can't wait to find out more bout him. Shay is just lost and confused I hope she gets it together soon . I love her and Tay friendship but I don't know if it will last. I guess I will have to read part 2 for all my unanswered questions. Overall great read

So fast paced
I wish this story was more developed and stayed on the track on Shay remaining a virgin but she went from saving herself for marriage to thotting it out for the community. But Anson is such a sweet guy...i just hope he keeps his spotless image in my mind in the next book...I really like this author I just wish she really thought this book thru but on to

Love this boohave read it several times and it never gets old. I love Shay and Anson together. I also love how he he was there for her, and expressed his love for her, and how he was there when she needs him

Not a bad storyline focuses on the transition from high school to college. Shay is ready to leave high school an go to college. Shay an her friends hang out smoke drink have sex but she's a virgin. Ready to leave her mother's house,she spends time with Tay and her brother Anson. Tired of her boyfriends cheating on her ,shay has a little fun. Anson helps shady out with money while shopping an they start to like each other. Shay now 18 gets a little loose and breaks her rule. With her dad an jail an hanging with Anson Shah learns how he gets his money an they have a fling for the summer. A great read for teenagers no doubt.

Thile girls in this book were so in a rush to grow up it was crazy. Tay was a mess trying to swinging her self everywhere. Ty crying she knocked up but was so busy trying to be grown. Shay is another one how do u go from wanting to wait until marriage to having three people under ya belt within weeks of each other. She was just doing way too much to be so smart that was just dumb. Then she got the nerve to talk about how she is in love with people. Girl please! Definitely a lot of high school drama.

Awesome book
I truly loved this book it was really a good book. I read this book all the way through. The author did great with the plot of this book. Anson was a real thug with heart I love the way he took care of him family and his sister's friend as well. I would have loved a little more but all good things come to a end. Good job Shameka

Ain't nothing like a Thug......
Whew is book was everything. Shay tried her hardest not to give in but that darn Anson smh. He had her begging lol. I'm Team Anson all the way. She made me feeling some kind of way at the end with Don. I ain't like that but, this book is worth more than five stars. Very good read.

Great book!
I really liked this book and I'm glad it ended on a positive note. Anson was a cool dude. Shay mama was a hot mess. Great STANDALONE book not a lot of killing and baby mama drama or none of that. I would recommend you read it.

This was a really good book. I really enjoyed the character Shay and I love Anson for her the best. I really hope they get back together and get married or something. Judging by the ending of the book, I'm not sure they will be a book 2, but I really hope so.

It started out a little slow but as it progressed I started liking it more and more... I felt so bad for Shay and the environment she had to live in... Tay was a little freak lol but she seemed cool.. Don messed up a good thing being to pushy... Anson seemed like a great catch ready for part two
