fantastic conclusion!
I loved seeing the resolution for Bianca and her pack, it was a long time coming! Her poor pack has been through the wringer and was able to come out stronger than ever, even getting a fluffy happy ending. I can’t wait to see more from Livi, keep up the awesome work!

This read more like a shopping list. This happened. This happened. This happened. Then sentences jump around. I ended up skimming a good majority of it because I was so annoyed. I enjoyed the first 2 books but didn’t really enjoy this one as much. The writing felt weird.

I waited and waited for this book, so when I finally got it, I desperately wanted to say it was worth the wait.
Unfortunately, I’m not sure it was.
Maybe the long gap between books two and three affected my experience, but the first 60% of this book was a real struggle for me. The biggest issue I had with this trilogy overall was the pacing. There was simply too much filler, and I found myself wondering more than once if I even wanted to finish the series. I actually went back and reread my reviews for book two while reading this one because I was debating whether continuing was worth it.
In my opinion, books two and three could have been condensed into one much stronger book. This easily could have been a duology without losing anything important.
That said, I’m glad I pushed through because the ending finally delivered the payoff I had been waiting for.
My biggest frustration, though, was with Tristan, Weller, Owen, and Freddie.
I just never fully bought them as the strong alpha men the story wanted them to be. They could certainly talk alpha when it came to Bianca protecting her, watching over her, telling her what she should or shouldn’t do but when it came to everyone else?
Where was all that alpha energy?!
Bianca was constantly having to save them. They rarely seemed capable of standing up for themselves, and eventually I found myself more frustrated with them than attracted to them. Even toward the end, when they finally manage to somewhat save themselves, another omega Bianca’s friend still plays a major role in rescuing them.
For me, that took away from the powerful alpha dynamic I was expecting.
And yet, somehow, Bianca completely worked for me.
When we first meet her, she’s soft, shy, and much closer to the stereotypical omega. Then she experiences something incredibly traumatic, and she essentially rebuilds herself into someone tougher, harder, and fiercely anti-omega because that’s who she needs to become to survive.
What I really appreciated was that when Bianca eventually fully manifests as an omega and finds her mates, she doesn’t suddenly lose everything she fought so hard to become.
Yes, she becomes softer in certain ways. She wants their touch. She becomes more distracted by them and embraces the sexual side of her relationship with her alphas. But she never becomes weak.
That edge is still there.
She continues pushing back against their instincts to protect her and repeatedly proves that she is capable of standing beside her mates rather than hiding behind them.
And that balance was one of my favorite things about her character.
Trauma changed Bianca. Healing softened parts of her. But neither one erased the other.
That felt real.
And while the men didn't completely work for me as alpha characters, I absolutely believed their love for Bianca. They were completely invested in her, and she was equally invested in them. Most importantly, the chemistry between all of them was phenomenal.
Honestly, that emotional and physical connection is probably what kept me invested when other parts of the story started losing me.
And then there’s the doctor the main villain.
His downfall was unexpected, memorable, and honestly kind of hilarious because of who ultimately takes him out. I still can't decide whether I loved that choice or hated it, but I will say this: I definitely won't forget it.

Overall, I think this is a good series. Bianca was fantastic, the chemistry was phenomenal, and there were plenty of moments I genuinely enjoyed. But the pacing issues, excessive filler, and my struggle to see Tristan, Weller, Owen, and Freddie as the strong alpha characters they were supposed to be kept this from becoming a series I truly loved.
Still, I finished it and that ending gave me enough payoff to make me glad I did.

I decided to wait until I finished all three books in the Bitter Bonds trilogy before writing my review, because this really feels like one continuous story. There are definitely highs and lows across the series, but you can’t really read just one book and judge it on its own.

One thing I completely disagree with in some of the reviews is the criticism of how the FMC changes throughout the trilogy. I actually think her character development is one of the strongest parts of the entire series.
In the beginning, she’s soft, shy, and more like your stereotypical omega. Then she experiences something incredibly traumatic and basically rebuilds herself into this tougher, anti-omega version because that’s who she needs to become to survive. As the series progresses, she finally fully manifests as an omega, finds her mates, and naturally starts showing more of those softer omega traits. She wants their touch, becomes more distracted by them, and is much more sexual with her alphas.
But I never felt like she suddenly became weak or lost the woman she had fought so hard to become. That edge was still there. She continued fighting against her alphas’ instinct to protect her and constantly proved that she was capable of standing beside them instead of hiding behind them. To me, she was actually extremely well balanced. Trauma changed her, healing softened parts of her again, but neither erased the other.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the MMCs.

Worth the wait.
I waited and waited for this book. I loved the first book. It hooks you in and oh, the heartbreak. I hated Whitney for sure. It was a great book. The second was less than. I don't know how to explain it. The first book was so intense. The second book started to reveal secrets so not as intense 🤷♀️ and finally to our happy ending. No doubt there's so much healing to do. And people who were dead aren't 🤫 I won't spoil it. Overall, it's a great series. The writing is solid, the plot engaging and not as dark I don't think as in the beginning of the story. Lots of victims. Lots of power gone wild. Lots of tears. You know their story is not over. Or maybe that's my wishful thinking. 🤞This was my first read by this author, I hope we see these characters again, living their best life. Happy reading!

This was a great end to a pretty solid series.
There are all kinds of ways to process trauma, all of them valid. The FMC, Bianca, is what I think of as a Veronica Mars-style heroine. She starts as a happy, well-adjusted golden girl. She responds to trauma with anger and uses her anger to rebuild herself into somebody harder, tougher, and a lot more stabby. These are my favorite FMCs and Bianca is definitely the highlight of this series.
The MMCs are a lot less memorable. Case in point, it's only been a few weeks since I finished, but I can't remember any details about them. Still rated four stars for book three, because the storyline made a strong impression.
Favorite thing about book three: Bianca's mother. If you've read, you know what I'm talking about.
Least favorite thing: The fate of a certain antragonist, was pretty disappointing.

The ending was okay
I dont know if it was just so long between reading books 2 and 3 or if the plot really fell flat but the first 60% of this book was boring to me. Im glad they finally got together but some things fell flat and then everything exploded in like 5 pages at the end. I really thought we were going to get more on Montgomery but that plot line ended abruptly, the evil dad's all got theirs at least? but even Whitneys ending was confusing at the end for me. Why did she come back when it wasn't really impactful? I just feel a lot of this was a miss for me personally.

The ending to Bianca and her alphas stories.
This has been a hard-fought story for Bianca and the guys, from the first book onwards, they have been controlled by those with more power and influence than they could fight against.
Here comes the fight back.
It’s not easy, they almost lose everything, but there’s joy, laughter, spice, and a puppy!
I loved how all the characters came together to help, rather than Bianca going into the final conflict alone.
I loved this and that final scene made me laugh so hard, the phrase,
“Pathological little scent raccoon.”
That’ll stay with me and make me giggle 🤭

I was so excited to receive an ARC of the exciting final installment of this trilogy.
Like the first two books, this was an angst and action packed finale with many surprising twists and turns.
Overall, this was a really satisfying read. I loved that we got to spend more time with Bianca’s family and friends. The bad guys got their due, Bianca remained a baddie, and the guys really stepped it up and grew into their main character energy. I thought the epilogue tied things up in a satisfying way, where our favorite characters reached their hard earned HEA.
Livi Weston has knocked it out of the park with her debut trilogy and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is thr final installment in this series. I enjoyed the first 2 as there was action, comedy, and thr story was interesting. This book tanked for me. It had some interesting points, but the constant back and forth between Bianca and her captivity got old. She knew all these skills, but didn't use them in this book. She was more badass in the others. As for her lovers, Tristan, Weller, Owen, and Freddie, the lying was frustrating. Saying one thing and doing the opposite was really annoying. I feel Bianca let them off easy.

I'm glad I read it because it would've been one that I wondered about since I waited forever to pick up book one, waiting for the final book to come out. But it didn't live up to the hype, or maybe what I had built up waiting for the trilogy to be completed. There were just too many things that we were told about instead of really getting to see play out. I wanted more in the end because I was rooting for them pretty hard. Then a lot of loose ends were just wrapped up too fast/easily, just so things were wrapped up instead of left unanswered, and I wanted more effort in wrapping everything up.

I LOVED this series. Savage Surrender is the perfect end to the series, I feel like everything. Was covered and I didn’t have any leftover questions about the ending or anything that happened earlier in books 1 & 2.
I was so into the characters and the love the pack had, the hate we all had for the fathers and doctor Montgomery and Whitney.
I’ll try not to give any spoilers, but this was such a good read and I loved it. I’m sad Bianca and her pack’s story is done, but I can’t wait to read Livi’s other work!

Fantastic series
First time reading from this author and she did not disappoint. From the first book to the last, it was nonstop reading. I could not put it down. First book, so emotional, you can feel what Bianca went through and seeing her transformation. The guys endured a lot, great characters, and the love they had for Bianca was unbreakable. This series was suspenseful and intense. I am sad to see it end.

September 27, 2026Dnf at 58%. I just couldn't anymore. The fmc is so strong and independent that she knowingly puts her guys at risk at every opportunity despite going into heat, saying she is an asset. *Rolls eyes* And it reads like a soap opera.... The dead always come back to life, every situation has another impossible challenge, yet they still have the time to be on vacation. I just can't finish it.

I'm so excited this series is complete. My heart has been with B since the beginning. She is fierce and determined and I love that she's got unwavering strength and grit. This was the conclusion on their journey to happily ever after.

Savage Surrender was an emotional and intense read with plenty of tension,drama and romance. I loved seeing the characters face their struggles and finally find their way through it all. A satisfying conclusion to Bittersweet Bonds series!

4 stars is probably generous but I did enjoy the series and ending as a whole. This one felt super slow and then rushed but the chaos level really reached a peak and I both cried and was entertained lol

OMG - this ending of the series was EPIC- Battered, bruised and finally free of threats, yeah we end this with an HEA! Definitely a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 entire series, best start with book 1
