This was exactly the kind of sweet, cozy romance I wanted for fall.
MMC and FMC are complete opposites, and their personalities definitely clash, but that is also what made them work so well together. I loved watching their relationship slowly shift as they realized that they actually understand each other well.
MMC was probably my favorite part of the book. Charming, funny, thoughtful, AND he can cook? Definitely a dream come true
I also really enjoyed the family dynamics and all otjer characters. They added so much personality to the story and gave it slightly chaotic feeling that I enjoy in a rom-com.
I read the sweet/closed-door version, and I really appreciated having that option. The romance still had plenty of chemistry and tension without needing the spice, and nothing felt like it was missing from the story because of it.
Overall, Falling for Mr. October was cute, funny, romantic, and wonderfully autumnal. It’s an easy, feel-good fall read with great banter, opposites-attract energy, and a couple you genuinely want to see figure things out.
Definitely recommend for when you want something cozy.
Thank you Hambright PR and the author for gifted arc

Falling for Mr. October, closed door, was the perfect amount of romance for those readers who don’t want, or aren’t in the mood, for spicy scenes! And the story flows seamlessly past the more R-rated moments without missing a beat.
Giovanni is a fantastic book boyfriend! He’s charming and funny, attentive, sweet, great with grandmas, and the man can COOK! He is always two steps ahead of everyone, especially Bianca. Their story is very sweet, almost sickly sweet at times. The kind of couple that makes you roll your eyes while being utterly happy for them!
And as always with this author the characters of this book are wonderful and so diverse. You can’t help but falling in love with most of them, and hate one or two as well!

This is my first fall read of the season and I have to admit that I loved it. There is something about a small town romcom that I can get behind! I love the relationship between Bianca and Giovanni and I think it's the kind of relationship that nearly every girl wishes they could have (in the end). I loved the fake dating trope and for the first time in my reading journey, an FMC that works in a senior living home! This book was funny, engaging, cute, swoon worthy, vulnerable and a fantastic for a fall read! Definitely recommend!

Cozy fall read! Giovani and Bianca are a classic opposites attract couple! They balance each other out fantastically, stand up for one another when it counts, and have the same fundamental priorities which bring them together. They may have started out rocky, but in the end they realize how well they complement one another. Fantastic banter, perfect amount of tension, and great writing!

I really enjoyed Falling for Mr. October! 🍂 I always love an Angela Casella romance book, and this is no exception. 🧡
Giovanni is such a charming and fun MMC, and I loved the banter between him and Bianca. They were such a fun couple because they were so different, but still brought out the best parts of each other.
My grandmother was 100% Italian, so I can somewhat understand what they were going through with their Nonnas. 🤭 I really related to Bianca when she said, “I have never liked asking for favors. I’m the eldest girl.” Hi, hello, yes. That’s me!
The friendships, family dynamics, and all the small town fall vibes made this such an enjoyable read. Between the pumpkin patch, fall festivals, fake dating, and a very charming Mr. October, this was exactly the kind of fun fall romance that I enjoy so so very much. 🎃🍁
There is a sweet and a spicy version, and I picked sweet, making it closed door. I told my husband that I am one fall romance away from demanding we move to an orchard. 🍂
