I cannot think of reasons why anyone would not like to read the book entirely or selected chapters from it. It is a great resource for anyone that is part of or impacted by the operations strategy in his/ her company. The book has many real case studies though I prefer to have more cases.
A well-organized and thoughtful examination of operations strategy. Provides good frameworks for understanding strategic alignment. Excellent for managers looking to improve operational effectiveness.
The authors use lots of charts and graphs to help readers learn the concepts. It's good for operational managers. Better than the book by Terry Hill and Alex Hill in my opinion.
